I couldn't quite justify getting the Legacy Dragonzord since I still have my original... but since my Tigerzord is long gone, he'll be picked up immediately. Now I have to track down one of those Samurai Tiger Tank things to give the MegaTigerzord drill arms.

I really want that Saba. I'd prefer Byakkoshinken, but they're essentially the same thing save for the sounds. Come on Bandai, get on those Sentai Proplica!

Really want to see how/if the Mastodon, Saber-toothed Tiger and Triceratops combine with White Tigerzord.

If these do well enough, I really hope they keep going. This badly needs a Thunder Megazord to go with it.

Considering how massively disappointed I was in Legacy Dragonzord (weight and functionality issues) I'm not really excited for the Tigerzord. It looks great but after that dud I just don't think I'd have much interest in this one.

The Legacy White Tigerzord and Saba are awesome looking. I can't wait to get my hands on them.

I'm down for Saba, but I'm not sure on the Tigerzord. I haven't bought any of the other legacy zords, but I MIGHT bite on it if they announced the Thunder Assault team so i could have a Mega Tigerzord on display with the original Thunderzords.

I heard that the Tigerzord can combine with the Dragonzord. How will that work?

We'll probably find out when we see in-hand pictures of the figure in the next day or two.

I'm just curious because I already have my Dragonzord and I'll rip him out of the box when I get my Tigerzord.

i totally agree with you..

i was SUPER excited for all of this stuff when it was announced and came out.. but i really just can't justify the price. i mean.. in the grand scheme of things none of this stuff is all that different from the original.. now, if these figures were well articulated and still had the capability to combine, but you were able to get nice fighting poses.. in that case, they'd be worth it.. but just adding metal to a more streamlined version of the original isn't enough for me anymore.

look at voltron... it's clearly possible to make posable figures like these.

I can not understand why anyone would be the least bit disappointed with DZ. Yes, he is not perfect, but he is show accurate and has articulation and no stickers.

Tigerzord is going to be even better for the same reasons.

Then clearly you just have a low threshold for toy design flaws. Dragonzord has significant weight issues that kept it from being a solid toy, especially when combined with the Megazord in either of it's combinations. Yes it has no stickers and the paint is exquisite, no one's arguing that. But the toy's functionality just isn't faithful to the real DX. The zord builder inclusion is pointless and unrealized. I don't actually have a problem with it being shoved into the design, but it was done in such a minimal way as to there being no point in it. It's compatibility with anything other than the Legacy Megazord is mostly non-existent barring a few examples. It isn't really usable with much of anything other than the Megazord. The proportions are way off too, that's not to say the original's are much better, but the Legacy is ridiculous. The tail, the chest, the head. Nothing is scaled properly.

Now I know every power ranger fan and their brother thinks it's the ultimate toy, a collector's dream, but I simply do not agree. It's a flawed figure. It suffers from using the 2010/Legacy Megazord for it's base in all combinations. It suffers from an overuse of die-cast resulting in weight and stability issues in 2 of it's 3 modes. Choose to acknowledge that or not, it doesn't matter to me. These are flaws in it's design.

I don't mind the Legacy Dragonzord as a show accurate version of the Dragonzord by itself, but the things you otherwise point out hold true.

The diecast serious bogs it down when trying to combine it with the Megazord, and the tail...they should have included two tails I feel. One for the Dragonzord, and one smaller one for the staff when combined with the Megazord.

Really though, they should have probably did an all-new Megazord to be more compatible with the Dragonzord. Honestly, when I think back on the MMPR 2010 stuff...why didn't they make a Dragonzord originally then?
