Episode Zero?

It's some direct-to-DVD bonus thing.

I'mma just be a lazy bastard and copy what I said in another thread:

Man, I wish this is what the entire show was like. The show improves like 300% without the comic relief characters from the Special Crimes Unit. This was much more dramatic and intense and I freaking loved it.

That would be cool, a kamen rider show where no one knows the rider as he fights in the background while two detectives in the forground work out whats going on between the rider and the monsters he fights against as a bigger conspiracy unfolds, or something to that nature

I enjoyed this episode, I like Proto-Drive a lot more now, but I don't think the whole show would be better if it was always like this.

I meant more in terms of tone than in how the Rider was implemented. I'm fine with Drive working in the open like he does now, but I wish the show was more serious. I thought the way Shinnosuke and his partner were working here was far more interesting than seeing him walk around in that goofy lightbulb hat or bumming around the cafeteria until something causes a tie-straigthening.

Oh man, after hearing Proto-Drive talk? Chaser is totally either a brainwashed Proto-Drive or a roimude based on Proto-Drive. I'm calling it now.

Sooo... there a stream of this up anywhere yet?

I dig the serious tone it was going for.

Could Kamen Rider Proto-Drive's identity is Chase?

That's irony because Chase is Kirhiko Sudoku of Drive as both of them are rival to Main Rider while Proto-Drive is Skull of Drive as both of them are mysterious rider who was killed in episode 1 and we learn more of them in later episodes.

Chase/Proto-Drive is like combination of Kirhiko Sudo and Sokicki Narumi/Skull

You're making my head hurt.

Watched last night. It was short, sweet, and now I get to use the best line ever created. "I don't need to introduce myself to something I'm going to destroy".

If they had used that as the tag line in Decade it would have imploded the fandom. If Micchy or Kaito had used that line, it would have made them even more badass. Let's face it, as far as Rider taglines go, that's pretty black.

The episode also ties in very nicely with episode 10, without giving too much away. It's nice to have it as a prologue.

I know right? :P

He wins on the catchphrase, certainly.

His voice seems to obvious as to the identity though, I'm kind of suspecting something more complex now.
