By guessing from the Lockseed, it's a Suika Arms prototype. THERE'S ALSO A MACHINE GUN ON THE SHIELD!!! I'm in love with the arms already!

Black Rider is Tyrant, the other Apple Rider is Eden - if my source is accurate.

Even though these are recoloured, edited, reused suits and weapons they are still looking good. I love Tyrant's horns.

Okay, so Baron will be fighting Kamen Rider Tyrant who uses the Dragon Energy Arms and Zangetsu will be fighting Kamen Rider Idun who uses the Ringo(apple) Arms.

You will never be done until BoJ makes a new self-contained collectable gimmick. If Lockseeds didn't happen, then you'd need to keep collecting Gaia Memories forever.

I actually don't like the prototype arms on Zangetsu at all. Just doesn't look good to me. Except the weapon. But the arms I don't like.

And of course Gaim needed even more Riders. :p But they also don't feel like Gaim Riders to me... too much going on with the fruit armor just tacked on instead of the armor adding most of the detail.

I know that feeling. Lockseeds feel like that they are becoming the new Ranger Keys :lol.

I guess it's a safe assumption that Taboo, Proto-Suika, and Yomotsuhaberdashery were all experiments of Ryoma's before he eventually perfected the Genesis Driver and Energy Lockseeds.

I really hope we get some background info on Yomtsuhuehhuehhueh in this story as well. Anything to alleviate how out-of-nowhere (albeit awesome) it was in Gaim proper.

How do you make Zangetsu even more bad ass? Give him a mother effing gating gun. I love this so very much.

Do we know when this takes place continuity-wise, or if it's even in continuity?


Also, Gaim has to be pretty damn close to the 30 Rider mark at this point.

As far as I have read this story takes place somewhere around episode 20 of Kamen Rider Gaim.

It's probably more like the twenty mark at this point. We have:

Main Series: Gaim/Baron/Ryugen/Zangetsu/Gridon/Kurokage/Bravo/Shin-Zangetsu/Malika/Sigurd/Duke/Knuckle/Jam

Movies: Bujin Gaim/Fifteen/Mars/Kamuro/Shin-Kurokage/Yami-Gaim

Other: Idun/Tyrant

Definitely over 30 once we include all the various forms and Arms.

Proto Suika Arms just looks aces. From the look of the armor to the color scheme; there's just so much right with this design it's such a pity Melon Energy becomes his default in the show. While I LOVE his weapon I do wonder just how much Takatora's going to use it since he prefers bladed combat.

Baron's Taboo Arms is neat too, but a wee bit too much red here. The details get washed out due to lack of a contrasting color to break up all that red.

If we include all the different forms we're up to at least 30. Include all the possible forms, for all the riders, and we're up to a seriously big number. All of the basic Sengoku Driver riders have at least 13, for a start, plus 16 rider lockseeds, 5 jinba forms for each...

I don't understand how they went from machine gun shield to death robot.

Mind you, I am not complaining, but that is a hell of a leap of logic.

I think machine gun shield to death robot seems like the most logical course of action.

Like a mecha is basically armour that shields you from your enemy while also being able to shoot back at them and occasionally stab with a giant watermelon slice.

But man I hope they make AC figures of these bastards.

Well, the death robot does have machine guns on it.

My question is why is the Proto-Suika a repaint of Mango, rather than just new lettering and interior sticker for the existing Suika?

Not too much of a giant leap in logic. Suika had machine gun fingertips in Gyro mode.

I'm pretty indifferent to Hades and Eden, but Suika Prototype Zangetsu looks really cool, especially with that gun shield. I'm also always glad to have more Lockseeds, but hopefully they won't be overly difficult to track down.

The Zangestu shiled-gattling gun hybrid is genious and sick in design. Though kind reminds me of a weapon you'd see in video games like Halo.
