ToQ 1 Dark & Hyper ToQ 6 Revealed!
 

The most recent round of Ressha Sentai ToQger scans has dropped a couple of bombs for us.

- Right as ToQ 1 Dark!
- Hyper ToQ 6!

What? The sixth ranger never gets any upgrade!

If we want to go back further Ninja Storm's Green had Super Samurai Mode, AbareKiller could use his team's power up, and both Genta and Utchi gained power-ups in a movie and a Hyper Battle Video, respectively.

Cool that we are getting another evil ranger.

Okay, I love the details (what I can see) on the Black ToQ1-go suit (and maybe some prominent figure company could hopefully consider making him) and I am glad to see Akira get to go hyper. That is awesome

You know this will actually be the 3rd series in a row we've had an evil ranger counterpart to the sentai themselves:

Go-Buster - Dark Red Buster/Enter
Kyoryuger - Deathryuger/D
ToQger - ToQ 1 Black/Emperor Z

I will say I love how shiny Black looks.

Sorry if I sound like I'm nagging here,just ugh, things I wana get off my chest.

Every new suit means much less to me knowing we won't get Figuarts of it. It seems like every new Kamen Rider variation gets a figure, but we can't even get the core ToQgers - or many other missing core characters from other series. I especially have a soft spot for evil versions of characters, like all the dark Ultraman figures they make. Not to get ToQ1 Black or Dark Red Buster in Figuarts is just a shame.

People who have a figure of some sort of ToQ1 could probably paint all red areas black and then spray a can of clear pearl coat and call it a day.
That should do the trick.

Contrary to what we thought, this black ToQ1 is not Zet, but Light. The official name for it is Yami No ToQ 1-Go (lit. ToQ1 of Darkness) so I think it is best that we call it Dark ToQ1 or ToQ1 of Darkness. The far right caption says, "A ToQ1 that looks like it has been engulfed in darkness. At this rate ToQ1 will receive Zet's strong power of darkness and his body might be completely consumed by darkness!?" Upper blue caption indicates though his form may have changed, his heart of justice is in tact. But at this rate he won't be able to win.

Hmm... so he's tryng to fight fire with fire. I mean, only Shadow is super effective against Shadow

Now, that's a very interesting development. Looks like the end of ToQger could be pretty epic. This show never ceased to improve during its course.

Remember in First Episode when Right is sleeping on Shadow Line Train but he WAS supposed to be on Rainbow Line Train.

Speaking of OOO, The approach Light is taking is very reminiscent of Eiji and how he had to deal with the Putotyra Combo. That's Kobayashi for ya I guess.

Because of this, Right have become victim of Kobayashi's Red Ranger Revelation

Please stop reiterating the same point in every post. We get it, you think you're right. But you aren't. Him becoming a dark ToQger temporarily does not qualify as whatever this "red ranger revelation" thing is you keep going on about.

What is this Red Ranger revalation?

He's been going on for the last couple months about how Right was going to have some kind of revelation like "all" reds do. And apparently now he thinks this temporary shift is that. I'd disagree however, this is just Right being Right and playing on Z's terms.

I see I see. Yes, as it was stated his heart has not been corrupted despite his form being altered. So revalation denied since this does not mean Light has gone full Vader but more like full Otoya.

Shiny black ToQ1 is the perfect balance of cool and absurd that I like from Sentai, although I do wonder if that suit is going to look as shiny in action as it does in the scans. It'd be cool to get hold of a figure of it but given that it's just a recolour it'll probably be very hard to get hold of or nothing.

Also, good for Akira getting to go hyper. I'm all for the entire team getting power-ups, even if they do have to take turns in this case.
