The story began three generations ago with the great Last Ninja, Igasaki Yoshitaka, who sealed the Yokai away for good. When the Yokai revive and their grandfather, the Last Ninja, passes away, five cousins who are all his descendants band together to defeat the threat. The Ninninger are still immature as ninjas but will strengthen their bond as they train in the Ninjutsu Dojo run by Takaharu and Fuka’s father, Igasaki Tsumuji. It’s a story about family and school spanning three generations that can be enjoyed by all generations of the family.

Why does this sound like KakuRanger meets GoGoV? Story sounds... uh... generic. And great, another immature ranger cast.

Cast names mean nothing to me, but I' not impressed with any of the production staff. Goseiger, Go-Buster, ToQ, Shinkenger, and Wizard? Meh.

But this sounds like it could go either really well or real terrible...

This story kind of remind me of Fiveman, GogoV and Magiranger meet Kakuranger, Hurricanger and Shinkenger.

We got a first Sentai family who are Cousin (except Red and White Ninja)

This is second time to have Father being the mentor since GogoV.

This is different from Kakuranger and Hurricanger because this Ninja sentai is COUSINS!

Actually, this is not generic at all, I interested in this show because we got a first Sentai show to have a team of cousins! (Except Red and White Ninja)

Kasumi Yamaya is in it and that is reason enough for me to be hyped for it. Well that and the whole ninja thing.

One of my favorite actresses from Japan.

Is she someone from another Toku show?

Besides being the pink's actress in this new Sentai...........she was previously played the role of Horror Girl in the Next Generation Sharivan and Shaider V-Cinemas. Not to mention this was also the psychic girl from the Fourze half of Movie Taisen Ultimatum with Fourze & Wizard.

She also has J-drama acting credentials as well, considering she also playing a supporting role in the New Itazura na Kiss Love in Tokyo series that is currently airing its second season (it is a J-drama that also features Mezool's human form's actress and Gokai Blue's actor)

Kininger is played by Kaito Nakamura. Oh myyyyy...

(If you don't get it, Kaito Nakamura happened to be George Takei's character in "Heroes".)

And that show is why I lover her (and Yuki Yamada) so very much.

She plays Satomi, the one who is super into designing.

Liking what were getting so far. That suit for Shurikenjin looks nice. And digging the suits too. Toqger is decent but hopefully its better than it or on par with shinkenger.

That is some line up there and I'm a little relief about who is working on it and who is in it.

Man this is some seriously promising news. Really looking even more forward to this than I'd imagined.

Either that or it's already been brainwashed and is one of the main soldiers.

Ninninger is like GogoV meet Kakuranger! For 2 good reason! One! It have a father to be TEAM mentor (Like GogoV!) Two! That simple. YOKAI!!!!!!

Will Ninninger be good Sentai show? No. I think Ninninger will be AMAZING show!

Well I'm going to give it a chance. I'll give it the same number of episodes I gave ToQ (5). However, it is going to be really hard for me to not compare it to Kaku given it is the same story.

Of course, it is the production staff that has me worried more than anything else. From what it sounds like, it is going to be a generic, predictable story with over the top slapstick comedy from dumbass acting rangers, and a whole lot of pile-ons from the mecha.

Honestly, I hope I am wrong. And given Toei's track record for every other Sentai show being watchable, this one should end up good. But again, with the people behind such garbage as ToQ, Go-Bus, and Gosei, and average junk like Wizard and Shinken, it is hard for me to be optimistic anymore towards it.

In fact, if this show sucks, maybe I'll just spend the year watching an episode or two of KakuRanger each week. :lol

I like everything I'm hearing about this show. =) I can't wait for it. I also love the names of the characters. Is AoNinger's first name Cloud or Yakumo?

You know, on second thought, if this does well, maybe it can get us a Ninja team up movie, which will lead to some KakuRanger Figuarts.


Okay, fat chance on the Figuarts, but it would be awesome if it did happen.

BTW, I would have rather it had been a father/son/daughter team. Have the father be the red ranger while his kids are the other four.

That's funny because Kyoryu Blue was originally going be 45 years old farmer but Toei vetoed that idea. If saying like you went to Toei and you pitch them an idea about Father/Son/Daughter team with Father being Red Ranger but Toei might vetoed your idea. Maybe Toei is trying to get kid attention at team (younger team).

And he comes back at some point as a bad ass extra ranger ala Wolzard.

You can still have an older hero and have kid attention.

Does Batman being in his 30s stop kids from loving him? Does James Bond being in his 30s/40s/50s stop kids from loving him? Does the Doctor being in his 50s stop kids from loving him?

Heck Kyoryu Blue ended up to be 32 in the series.

Interesting. I like the more disheveled casual look of Aka. Ao looks generic as all get out. Ki looks really familiar but I can't figure out why. Momo looks to be Gosei Pink 2.0 and I am 100% okay with that. Shiro seems fine.

Yup. I'm in love with White. That's a thing now.

Wasn't Ao's jacket used by ToQ2-go? Lol. I like the team and Ki looks really young in that shot, how old is he?

Yeah it does look simular to the same suit Tokati wore in earlier episodes. :lol

It does look similar, but the difference I can spot is that Tokatti's is more of a sport coat while Yakumo's is more of a short trench coat.

Those are not bad , not bad at all.I like Aka's look the most.
