I still shake my head about the fact that it makes no sense for a bounty hunter to destroy anything :lol

Looks pretty cool so far. I like that the Dino Chargers are man made and now I really wanna now the background of the team and how they exactly become Power Rangers.

Maybe there's a criminal wanted dead or alive on Earth and yeah...:lol

It looks fairly nice so far.

Maybe some evil empire hired him because all those pesky teams who keep taking out evil empires come mostly from Earth. I mean, they have taken out two alliances/empires in 20 years

1. We have a very happy Sentai
2. We have a blood thirsty Sentai who wants Saban's head on a platter

But that still wouldnt be what a Bounty Hunter does. if someone pays him to destroy earth/kill his target he is a hitman.

I think I'll stick to my idea that maybe there's a big criminal on Earth and Sledge has to get him back dead or alive. Except he's a crazy person and decides to just blow up Earth

And just like Gavan's transformation, it only takes 0.05 seconds for my desire to watch Dino Charge to plummets into the rocks at the bottom of a waterfall.

I will wait and see what his actual motivation in the show will be and just say that the thing with blowing up the earth is just some guy in the marketing department screwing up :lol

But what if he needs to destroy the planet first, in order to retrieve something?

He's cracking the egg to get the surprise within.

But thats not what the teaser says. The teaser says his goal is to destroy earth. Its not that he wants something and earth is in the way but its explicitly said that his goal is to destroy earth. And thats not the goal of any bounty hunter.

And like I said above. It will probably be something completely different what he wants in the show and it was just someguy in marketing that felt it wasnt extreme enough for the teaser trailers so here he goes destroying the earth :lol

I wouldn't be surprised. Something tells me that a villain with a latex gimp mask may ruffle some parental feathers stateside.

Welp time to evacuate Earth when Sentai finds out. :lolol

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I just can't quite make out exactly what's different.

It looks like the zipper around the mouth area was removed. The black is still there but the zipper seems to be missing.

It also looks like her colors are darker than they should be. But that could just be the lighting.

This could go one of two ways. Either they do her justice and we can all continue going about our normal lives in peace and harmony. Or Saban pulls a Saban and I burn everything from here to New Zealand.

I don't mind them removing the zipper but it was kind of useless. I never even noticed the thing until someone pointed it out to me. Don't even mind the apparent darker colors.

.. So we'll see. We will see.

The girl giving them the Dino Chatgers. Was that the upcoming Purple Ranger?

She does look a tad more menacing than the Japanese footage yeah.

I think the new footage is a good touch. One has to remember that when Saban used to do things correctly, a lot of new footage was used to such an extent that little to no Sentai scenes for a particular character were used. Having a bounty hunter attack Earth might seem awkward, but I'll reserve judgment until we see this guy in action and get a look into his mentality. As for Candelilla, I'd say that a zipper removal would be a necessity WHETHER OR NOT anyone would likely see it. It's entirely possible that one can't suggest such innuendo given the fear that an attentive child might notice. If the zipper was removed, it might have been forced beyond the point of a debate: "You want to use her Saban? Take the zipper off or we won't approve airtime!"

I dont think it was ever said who will be the purple ranger but its very likely that she will be it.

Wrong. Bounty Hunters can bring in their target dead or alive. Something that proves they're not a problem any more.

It might just be easier to "destroy Earth" and sift through the rubble to find whomever it is they have a bounty for.

Again like I mention already the trailer does not say that he looks for anyone its just mentioned that his sole purpose is to destroy the earth end of story. And thats not what a bounty hunter does.

Just flat out getting paid to kill someone is not bounty hunting its an assassination.

Bounty Hunters are required to bring back the body (dead or alive) while an assassin is just required to do the kill and nothing more.

If a bounty hunter is given a task of finding and bringing back someone, dead or alive, he suddenly just doesn't change his position to assassin. It could very well be that the dead or alive option is there, but there could be a higher payout if the bounty is brought back alive, which is usually par for the course.

He might "want to destroy Earth" to make his job easier, he's tired of searching or the most likely one, he doesn't care about collateral damage.

Of course he doesnt and thats the point of this whole thing. Destroying the Earth implies that it isnt there anymore so there is no body to retrieve. Its gone because it was destroyed. And how do you even bring someone a freakin planet? Hows that even supposed to work?

And yes I know that it probably isnt the earth thats the target. Thats why I already mentioned that in this thread...twice. Thats why I said on these occasions already that the in show reason will probably make alot more sense then what we are provided with in the previews.

The Earth can be destroyed without obliterating it to smithereens.

Regardless I was merely pointing out that a bounty hunter can kill their target and still be a bounty hunter. If the narrator had said that the "Intergalactic bounty hunter was sent to destroy Earth" then that's not the definition of a bounty hunter at all. But it says "he" wants to destroy earth which means he's given his task and can apparently go about it the way he sees fit.

I like that we got alot of american made footage in that teaser. Gives me hope that we will get more of that throughout the show.

I'm kinda going to assume that the bounty hunter is gonna get replaced by dino supercharged by the guy who hired him, not taking any more of hi's sheenaningans.

I'm coming with you. Zordon, who knows what will happen when Sentai completely looses it.
