As for me, I have only played Persona 4 (and seen the anime) and currently I'm playing Q. Mostly being to stupid to solve puzzles at the first try.

I played Persona 3, SMT3, SMT4 and both Devil Survivor games. I first discover the series in 2006 when I found out that Dante was a guest character in SMT3 on the PS2. I remember looking forever to buy the game and I had no luck at the time.

I always thought it was cool that they had Dante as a guest character. It would be cool if they did that again.

I always prefered DS2 over 1 for whatever reason myself.

To be honest, the only SMT game I have ever beaten is Nocturne.

I couldn't get into Strange Journey, Devil Survivor 1, or Summoner RKvsTSA and while I was enjoying Digital Devil Saga 1, my backwards compatible PS3 while I was halfway through the game so I lost all motivation to start the game over.

I wanted to play both Soul Hackers and SMTIV when they came out, but I was so busy with other stuff that they are still sitting on my shelf collecting dust. Of course, the same goes for the Persona games. I had this big plan to play Persona 1 an 2 the moment I got them on the PSP and never did. I own three different versions of P3 and both versions of P4 and haven't touched them.

I am pretty bad about it. I loved the concepts around the series. I buy them because they are games that if you don't buy right away, they go for outrageous prices on the secondary market, but all they do is collect dust. Hell, I haven't even opened the packaging to Summoner 2 because of the plush and everything. In fact, I bought it on PSN so I wouldn't have to and still couldn't play it.

dont play P1. if you've played a modern JRPG then P1 is just awfully archaic. start with the Persona 2 games.

P3 and P4 are their own stories, you won't miss any story bits and what-not.

I've only played DS1:OC and I couldnt bear to play devil survivor 2 without those cool additions from the first game.

like seriously, the Japanese version of Record Breaker had almost no space left in the game's memory for them to ship it. that alone made me think "oh man, if this game is bilingual then it'll never come out here. there's no way" and it's actually coming out and I am so excited! I really liked the anime and can't wait to see the game in it's best form.

I like Persona...and I'm barely into SMT IV...so yeah....that's all I have to say. :lol

I still hope to play a SMT game that I can finish. I played Persona 3, Devil Survivor 1 & 2, SMT4, Strange Journey, Nocturne and the 3DS remake of Soul Hackers. Never complete a single one since I either get lost with no way on getting out or give up after getting so hard.

I do love Nocturne as my favorite since it introduced me into the series.

Played and beat Persona 4 golden and love it. And I was also on day 4 or 5 on Devil Survivor overclocked before I lost the SD card I downloaded it on somewhere in my room.

Would it ever be possible to have Dante back in another game or have another guest character? Dante in SMT3 was the reason why I discover the series and he was one of my strongest character on the team.

I highly doubt it.

It'd be hilarious if they added the new Dante~

I believe they even took Dante out of a rerelease of the game in Japan that came out a few years ago and replaced him with Devil Summoner's Raido Kazuya.

Even if and that's a BIG if they'd just use new Dante's look with old Dante's superior attitude; much like PlayStation All Stars ended up doing.

Because DmC's Dante was an unlikable jerk and even SMT has to have some balance between light and darkness.

I really can't decide between 4 of them. My favorite Personas gotta be Norn, Makami, Neko Shogun and Anubis.

good. because I find Raidou more likable than any Dante ever.

I just wanted to mention how adorable Kanji is. I love his little sideplot with Ken in PQ. That was really heartwarming.

I am curious how they will be summoning personas in 5. 3 had guns, 4 had glasses.

So to revise my previous post, I am curious of what method they will have for summoning. Considering that the teaser had the whole captivity thing going on maybe a key?

it'd be cool if they turned something like a key unlocking their persona, I also like it when they just summon them. nice and quick.

And what does that have to do with my post? I never said Kanji was gay oO Besides, if I had said so, it would have been utterly weird because Ken is in elementary school...

I've always been on the fence on whether Kanji being gay or not was good.
I mean, on one side, it would be the rare opportunity for a gay character to not be defined by their sexuality. On the other, it shows a character who can be gentle and like soft things without being overtly gay.
So I dunno how to feel about Kanji...
