Legendary Ranger Mode! Power Rangers Operation Overdrive! Overdrive, Accelerate!

Today we continue our very special galleries and reviews for everyone! For those who are collecting the Power Rangers Super Megaforce Ranger Keys you've seen some grainy images of this before. We are unsure of the exact origins of this item so we are not going to speculate. But we are very pleased to bring you a gallery of the yet-to-be-released Power Rangers Super Megaforce Operation Overdrive Legendary Ranger Key Pack B, which is apparently "on order" now at Toys'R'Us stores with an expected January arrival!

This key pack features previously unreleased Ranger Keys from the Power Rangers Operation Overdrive team - specifically the Yellow Ranger and the Mercury Ranger. It also comes with a translucent Red Ranger. Bad news for fans of the Pink Ranger, as she is not included and thus her future is uncertain.

The first thing to capture your attention in this pack is the Mercury Ranger. He is absolutely beautiful in Ranger Key form. The Operation Overdrive logo is present and looks great. The second best key in this set is going to be the translucent Red Ranger. The red plastic just works great for translucent effects, and in the image we have it almost looks like he has his suit's power running through his arms and legs. Just like with the Wild Force key pack, the stinker in this group is going to be the Yellow Ranger. From floppy plastic hinges to an unpolished head and entirely different plastic backing (with a different shade of yellow to boot), as a female key it's disappointing to see it feeling and looking lackluster when compared to the other two, great keys in this set.

Other than that ... they're Ranger Keys! There's not much to add to them. For those curious, the keys, when used with the Power Rangers Super Megaforce Legendary Morpher, say the following phrases:

Mercury Ranger: "Operation Overdrive!" (a second turn does the classic communicator beep)
Yellow Ranger: "Operation Overdrive!" (a second turn does the classic communicator beep)
Red Ranger: "Operation Overdrive!" (a second turn does the classic communicator beep)

THE GOOD!

• These are fun Ranger Keys ... and Ranger Keys are just fun no matter how you look at it
• Two more remaining members of the team released in this pack! So close to complete!
• The Mercury Ranger is gorgeous

THE BAD!

• ...I hope they're coming out cuz they aren't out yet!
• No Pink :(
• Scared of loose plastic, especially on Yellow - felt like turning the key was going to break it

CONCLUSION!
If you see these, pick them up. Not only are they likely the last Ranger Keys to get released, but they have sixth Rangers and they're just cool! You'll probably want to collect the rest of the packs if you only pick these up so be careful of that issue. Either way - these have potential to end up being a more desired item in the future because of their likely low production run. Simple "low amount = higher demand" type of scenarios.

oh lord another missed female key, what a surprise. and oh lord another in the army of red clones. cool for mercury though.

question why is red still flat, shouldn't it be translucent or something?

Mercury really turned out nicely, but dear Gosei they can't keep ignoring their female characters like this. Bad enough we'll never see OO Pink but Yellow's QC is horrible.

I understand it's primarily a boy's line but not having a complete Ranger cast in key form is going to be a major turnoff for some people.

Love Red cast in translucent plastic. The translucent keys are really all I've collected from the BOA line, they just look great in those colors. OO Red is by far the best clear key so far.

That Mercury Ranger is so byoutiful that silver makes it pop.

The Mercury Ranger has one of my favorite suit designs, it's a shame that this is so hard to find.

This looks like a great set overall, especially Mercury and Red. Mercury is definitely the highlight to me, his paint is great. Red is cool too, the translucent plastic looks really good on him.

I think Mercury's key looks better than Bouken-Silver's key.

Ehh. Still not a fan of Overdrive. Even with the pretty keys. More power to those who buy them.

That silver is nice, could do with a touch more orange though.

Nah, I would agree. The key version looks more action ready.

The paint on these aren't that bad, which result in some decent looking collectables. Not really for me though.

You gotta wonder how popular they thought all these keys were going to be.

if they did full team packs like japan probably pretty popular

heck as it is they are always sold out near me so they are probably doing pretty well or scalpers are taking them all

Unless I see full team sets being sold I'm skipping these still cause colecting them all will be soooooooo troublesome, but theses should be cheaper than the sentai keys if I do decided to go down the rabbit hole.

The Mercury ranger is nice, yeah, but missing rangers are always annoying and it seems unlikely that pink will appear anywhere else.

Otherwise, the keys look mostly alright, apart from the production flaws already pointed out on yellow.

I feel like Bandai could have done blind packed keys and done pretty well. Selling incomplete sets like this is just bizarre.

What is the deal with omitting the Pink/White Rangers!? Why aren't they in these packs over translucent keys of characters we already got?

Yeah, more pinks would definitely sway me towards this line. But that's life.

Love Boukenger, so by extension I like Operation Overdrive. I had a Gokaiger BoukenRed key on my keychain for a long time, but it broke. So, I might pick this up and put the Red on this one.

I'm not even big into PR/SS, but I'm loving that Mercury.

That's so amazing! I hope I can add this to my collection someday. I'm happy with what we have so far but alittle more wouldn't hurt.

These look pretty damn good. The Operation Overdrive suits are in my top 5 favorites...

That clear key looks surprisingly solid at first glance.

Looks pretty good. It would be worth it, but Operation Overdrive never got anything spent on it when I was a child, and it won't now/

I'm kinda curious as to why the yellow keys are weaker than the other colors. Must have used weaker yellow plastic instead of just painting the keys yellow.

Mercury looks better as a key than I thought.
