Pictures of Power Rangers Samurai Gigazord
 

As we reported last week, the Power Rangers Samurai Bull Megazord was pictured online and already found in stores for purchase. Now, thanks to Schide, a Tokusatsu fan at our sister-site TFW2005.COM, we have pictures of various angles of the combined mode of all zords, Samurai Gigazord, along with a comparison picture of the Bandai of Japan Shinkenger version.

As I told Schide, that's a pretty clever combination. Bandai of America is doing a great job shrinking this down, yet keeping a lot of the playability.

For anyone reading, the one on the far right is the Japanese version. :)

Nice! Now I just hope I can find one of those locally to complete my Samurai collection. I've had a $50 TRU giftcard burning a hole in my pocket since Christmas...come on DFW TRU's!

As far as I'm concerned, the Gigazord looks better than Samurai HaOh.

yeah, i'm impressed Bandai America! still getting the JP version though lol!

I'm hoping to nab this once it hits my area but.... I've never even seen Octo Zord on the shelves? Is he common every where else?

I have to agree, HaOh was far from impressive, this looks great. Shame that the Pink & Yellow Oragami can't hook to the side like they do in the JP version.

I'm pretty sure that side view of Ha-Oh is screencapped from Baltmatrix's Youtube review, isn't it?

When I posted these in the TFW thread I had figured that someone would have taken pictures and posted them on here already, since the thread over kinf had kind of slowed down a bit, but I guess not.

It's kind of a shame it's so big because I'm not able to take better light box pictures because as you can see it's hitting the top of my box as it is. But I can take some more pictures if anybody wants some, I'm just not exactly sure what other pictures to take, since I don't have any BOJ figures to compare it to. Well, unless somebody wants a comparison to an uncompleted candy toy.

How big is it? Looks 17 or so inches combined.

Just found one at the Lynn Walmart in MA

at the highest point on it, which would be the swords from the Clawzord mounted on its head, its about 17.25".

Oh, almost pretty close then. I have a big shelf space waiting to be filled by it.

Wow, that's pretty big actually, since the Japanese one is 19.25" tall

I'll take a savings of 2 inches for a savings of a hundred dollars or more.

.... I'd love to support the Japanese DX Mecha but the Exchange rate is just kicking my butt right now.

Yeah I rememebr seeing that and seriouslly considering it, but in all honestly. IMHO I'll take Bull Megazord over Ox Cart

What about the hight if the samurai sword is attached to head in that peg behind the headdress?

just noticed the center chest emblem on Gigazord is upside down. is that an oops or does the toy require that?

And the slimming down finally works. Even though I haven't gotten any Megazords in yeeears, I've still been looking and have been pretty darn disappointed with BoA dumbing them down instead of releasing the originals with minor changes like in days past. But that thing does look pretty good. And compared to the Japanese version, it does look better; just looking at it I never liked how HaOh just stood on a platform.

How horrifying. I long for the days of simpler configurations, and not just seeing how much one could stack together.

I think that's an Oops, I think I've seen others do it the show accurate way. It's an easy detail to miss though.

then I wouldn't recommend looking at G12. lol

I bought Samurai Mega, and I'll defend it. But they couldn't have had the Bullzord come with a non-transforming Kanji Ape Zord for the rear to match the Turtle?

Whoa. Those comparison pics are insane. The size of Ha-Oh is ridiculous. I'm glad I bought the BoA version for that, alone! I don't have that kind of room! O_O
