S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim to be released in USA by Bluefin Tamashii Nations
 

Bluefin Tamashii Nations let us know that they are now able to release non Tamashii web exclusive S.H. Figuarts for Kamen Rider Gaim.

The upcoming S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim reissue will also be released in the United States.

This is great news for those who have been itching to buy the figure but haven't been able to pay the crazy high prices for the original release!

My first figuart together with Baron and it is one of my favorites still.

Also, I feel like a noob for just noticing the black ropes around his neck, never saw that before.

Damn this affects me trying to sell my Kamen Rider Gaim Figuart.

This may push me into buying figuarts.

It's a deep hole. But if you really do need to get just one, Gaim is the one to get.

Honestly... while great and a good sign for the future, for Gaim, it's totally a case of being too little, too late.

How?

They said everytime that they cant release the Figuarts during the time they are coming out in Japan. Now Gaim doesnt come out in Japan anymore and they can release the figuarts. I dont get how this suddenly is "too little, too late" when they never had any other options.

That was never the case before Gaim.

Because besides the reissue of Gaim, retail releases are pretty much out, so.. they missed out on a bunch of releases since they can only do forthcoming ones.

But it was an issue now. Bandai and Tamashii Nations clearly had different limitations for the Gaim line and they couldnt bring them over.

YES! That's so awesome, I hope they import Baron and Kachidoki, too.

For your sake I hope so too, these figures are awesome and everyone should have one.

I suspect that them not having been imported by Bluefin was a major part of them being so rare.

Not denying that things changed.

I'm just saying - so they can only get Gaim over himself just because of the reissue now. Great for those who haven't managed to get one through importing!

But they're still not able to bring over the rest unless somehow they get reissued too. That's what I'm getting at. So they are too late in that regard.

(Or maybe I let the grumpy mood I was already in for other reasons, on top of limited and annoyingly light sleep, influence my reaction more than I should be. Because I do feel this is really good for everyone, including those who already have him, as a good sign for potential future releases, even if they too have to be after the show airs. [Which I don't get, but we'll never get an explanation on that one.] But it's only a drop in the bucket for Bluefin making up for their silence and lying regarding toku figures.)

I can finally get Banana Man with out begging anyone anymore?!

I can finally get a replacement Gaim now too.

Assuming I'm reading that right, that means we should/could be getting all six major releases: Gaim, Banancelot,, Melon Man, Grape Ape, Shotgun Shogun, and Shining Disappointment.

OMG!! I guess I am glad to have waited on Ryugen and the other forms of Gaim.

I might pick up a new Gaim though in hopes that his Muso Saber holster isn't broken.

If that is true, I take back everything I said... Because I was interpreting it as only those that get released going forward.

Is it wrong that I want to buy one of by Bluefin Tamashii Nations just to support more Kamen Rider in the US? For those of you who haven't gotten the figure yet this is amazing.

I may buy one as well. Can always use another set of weapons...

Also if bluefin is handling the the American release of only the non exclusives does that mean the US version of the Tamashii Webpage they opened up a couple months ago could possibly get the exclusives?

Bluefin Tamashii Nations is not part of Bandai Tamashii Nations - they are simply a distributor. The USA Tamashii Web Shop page is operated by Bandai Tamashii Nations.

As for future releases - unknown. But they do have the right to release any non-webshop exclusive Kamen Rider Gaim figures, and the first release under this will be Kamen Rider Gaim, specifically his re-issue. As always, if there's enough demand for more Gaim Figuarts, Bluefin Tamashii Nations needs to see your support :)

Ah okay definitely will be buying a reissue then, now just to figure out what do with it XD. My first run one actually turned out well. I guess i could try a fresh orange arms repaint.

Could be a good way to pose it depends if i can even find a good paint that matches the orange enough that will work well on plastic.

I think decent prices for all of them would be a godsend.

I would hope the other Gaim figuarts get a retail reissue. Ryugen is the cheapest at the moment at retail, so I should get him now on Ami Ami before he disappears for good. At least Bluefin could release Drive next year when the show is over.

This is welcome news, if a bit late. Too bad the Tamashii Web Exclusives aren't covered. Shin Zangetsu will never be mine.

What would make me really happy (since I already paid too much for Gaim Figuarts) would be if Bluefin would distribute Kamen Rider Drive. That BBTS couldn't offer it for preorder is a shame.

I would like to see Baron and Zangetsu get reissue as well. I think Kachidoki being reissue would be my biggest hope since the prices for him are nuts on the after market.
