Gokaiger Vent Thread
 

I decided, for everyone out there pent up about there not being Gokair for two years, I'd give you all a place to vent the frustration. But first: Let's set a few ground rules.

1) This is a Joke Thread. So keep that in mind while posting.
2)No personal attacks. Yes you all hate me because Goseiger was picked, I know this.
3) Keep it clean.

Otherwise follow the rules of the forums.

So have fun, and let the whining.. I mean venting :lol, let the Venting begin!

While I'm not as mad as I was when we first heard of Goseiger being adapted, I am angry that Gokaiger won't come until 2015, well after the 20th Anniversary of Power Rangers has passed. Using an anniversary season of Sentai in a non-anniversary season of Power Rangers just feels off.

I wanted Gokaiger to disappoint me twice in a row, not have to wait a couple more years for it to disappoint me in America.
Oh well.

Can't lie, Gokaiger Vent would be a pretty awesome Advent Card.

Yeah pretty much everyone thought it was going to be GoKaiger especially after that casting call info leaked.

I wonder if Saban had wanted to go straight to Gokaiger only to be told by Toei that they can't skip? Maybe Saban will do a 21th anniversary :p

What I want to know is why can't they skip?

If they actually go ahead with a 21st Anniversary, I think a lot of fans will be unhappy. Having an anniversary where the number doesn't end in a five or a zero just doesn't sound right.

That's what I want to know as well.

Because Goseiger is awesome. Is the answer to that question :D

I think the only way a Gokaiger story would work would be if they were actually hunting down the Ranger Keys, because starting out with them means that the transformations would get repetitive really quick.

Besides, using Gosiger means we get one more team, so it's fine that we go through with it for now.
I really don't care what series they use. We could trek back and do Maskman for all I care. I just want to see more good PR.

Im actually excited for the use of Goseiger, but i must say that their use during the Power Ranger's 20th Anniversary will most definitely hinder the potential of what could've been a Morphinominal 20th Anniversary using Gokaiger. And for that i rant and say damn you Goseiger! Damn you and your non Gokaiger-ness! I've seen the Goseiger movies and the footage all looks really good and will I'm sure be turned into awesome Power Ranger goodness, but man, Pirates! Gokaiger just comes ready built for anniversary goodness. oh well. As I say I'm still excited but i just wanted to say that Gokaiger will end up being less than what it could've been all thanks to Goseiger. Ah well. In the words of Captain Marvelous, "Let's make it a show!"

Considering the source material and the previous PR season, it's easy to see why.

I have little hope that megaforce will be any good.wasnt the alleged reason why mmpr was reshown was because they needed longer to adapt the weirdness of shinkenger for the west. Look how well it turned out with that extra year...we got the Mega modes for the zord battles.

It was reshown, I thought, because Disney was losing the lisence and they had no choice.

You're comparing a Japanese themed series full of references to Japan that no child in the west would get to a series based around cards?
Making a series using Goseiger's footage is easy, completely original or total adaptation.

Not a fan of Goseiger, but I am glad they didn't skip it. Maybe I can like Megaforce....

I've actually wondered whether or not Goseiger will be the new season and Gokaiger will be the new Power Rangers 20 toyline. That would let saban start back with Go-busters in 2014/15 on their new network (assuming everything goes through with the deal).

It's not like Goseiger made any super impact in the show...I think they used the forms once or twice, and the grand power once...
