END OF THE LINE!

Today is Ressha Sentai ToQGer's last episode. Everything we've seen over the last year comes down to this...

Pre-insert my intense emotion, I'm gonna miss these guys so much...

Prepared to cry my eyes out.

This is going to be sad...

When the images started coming out, I was pretty solidly against everything. But, ToQger really grew on me and I'll be sad to see it go.

ToQger's been one hell of a (train) rider. I've loved it since the first reveal and I'm going to be really sad to see it go :(

I might be a little less sad if I had some Figuarts to comfort me. Darn you, Bandai. :cry

A great finale, hit me right in the feels, and I can't wait for the V-Cinema to come out.

The helmetless role call was pretty badass and the final duel was pretty well executed as well. Also got a flash of ToQ1-go Orange which was neat; short, but neat. I was going to cry for Right, but he got his happy ending...but what about Akira (my favorite on the team)? What happens with him?

I can't wait for the subs to come out; hopefully they are quick like last week. ToQGer was a great season and now on to Ninninger!

I cried most of the episode and even after the episode, it took me some moments to get myself together again. All the feels. All those fluffy Toqger feels. I'll miss them. A lot.

The episode was just great all around. Subs will only improve on it for me. The final Roll Call and fight scene made me cry my eyes out.

It was a good finale though it didn't feel like it ended but I am happy about the ending. The Rainbow form was pretty cool and the combined weapon with Akira's weapon in it was awesome. I loved the ending with them turning back into kids because of their family remembering them. Overall a very good Sentai, lots of filler though, maybe my fourth or fifth favorite Sentai so far. Can't wait for the V-Cinema.

Damn, I don't think a Sentai ending has ever hit me that hard before :cry

Holy shit I haven't been watching TQGer for a few months now but I wanted to tune in for the finale.

That slapped me in the face with emotion, seeing them reunite with their parents made the waterworks start, wow.

God so many feels. Like I said before the subs made this episode only better. I cried all the way through it was just absolutely amazing. Its a great endpoint for the story but leaves it open for more adventures to come.

ToQGer has creeped into the top ten list of my favorite sentai. Kobayashi knows how to end a show really well, I will give her that.

And Akira is my favorite sixth ranger of all time.

Well, it's over, and the finale was good. If I may niptick The dark castle terminal crushing was a bit anti-climatic, and the gold line was too much deus ex machina.

ToqGer is not the best super sentai serie, but it has some really good moments.

Why do I feel like I watched a different show episode than everyone (who have posed in this thread). I feel like this was yet another not-ending. Yes, the battle was won, but the main 'bad guy' got away and, technically, two of his generals are not dead but rather reside within said said bad guy.

Overall I just get the feeling that this wasn't an ending but rather a stop-gap and the upcoming movie will be the true finale. Or maybe that's just my imagination.

He was a ghost though, so I'm not really sure he can do very much at the moment.

That, and I don't exactly think Z is going to be trying to swarm the world in darkness again any time soon. He only really went off the deep end because he was constantly prevented from ever getting the shining he wanted so badly.

Well all the major storylines of the show got resolved in this episode. Zet got beaten and taken away by Gritta and this ended the Shadow Lines invasion of our world. Zet got overpowered by the light and is severely weakend and with him being in Grittas custody he wont attempt another invasion again.

The ToQGer all got reunited with their parents and got turned back into children. This leaves none of the storythreads from the show without a resolution but still allows for more adventures in the future. Just like imagination itself the ToQGers journey is endless.

Full disclosure: I haven't watched an episode of ToQGer since the early 20s. I didn't stop liking the show, I just got bored with it. I did decide to come back for the finale, though. I didn't fully understand what was up with Right, in particular, but on the whole I thought it was a really nice ending that reminded me of all the things I liked about the show back when I was watching it. The ending was very emotional and it probably would've hit me pretty hard if I'd stuck with these characters all the way through.

I'll miss this gang. *sniff*
All in all, a nice resolution to the entire journey.

This is BEST Finale ever! And this is last day of ToQger :(

They will be missed but we will get one more of ToQger from V-Cinema!!

I'd say "best finale ever" is over stating things a bit. While the show isn't nearly as awful as most people seem happy to report, it definitely suffered over all from some of the more tired tropes of the franchise. While the finale wasn't bad either it's far from one of the best. Honestly I felt it to be pretty standard fair, though I enjoyed the unorthodox "handoff' this year.

This episode brought a tear to my eye. It was a great way to end a sentai series plus now when they do a toqger x nininnger movie they can just use zed as the villain or he can turn into toqnanago or toq7

Was ToQger nothing more than an allegory for kids getting over being afraid of the dark?

With a bit of coming to age story (the first romance, the sense of responsability, etc.), they're still kids but they're probably more mature at the end of the journey.

I'd say that was a satisfying ending, them feels this episode were really powerful man.

The final fight with Zed was pretty great, I always love seeing people duel wield. One issue though...didn't they say that ToQ6 couldn't Line Change? So for ToQ1 to suddenly be able to change into 6 was a bit irritating to see.

I agree, GoBusters and Gokaiger's endings were way better in my opinion.

Like they said in the episode when they gave him there Ressha...Imagination. The ToQGers imagination pretty much upgraded their equipment to do it and allow Right to transform into ToQ #1 Rainbow.

Well, the ending was boilerplate, and is it wrong that I wanted Zed to have some form of epiphany other than to realize that he was the darkness? I suppose the episode should have been called "Mothers Know Best", but I'll take the happy ending over everything else.

I enjoyed the series, but I would agree the ending to GoBusters, and most definitely GoKaiger were the better wrap ups. By the looks of things, NinNinger is gonna be hecka wack.

Well, that's because this season was a villain centric series. And no one can argue that point. Everything revolved around Zed and Grita. I think out of all of them I'm going to miss Madame Noire the most. And Akira/Zaram out of the entire series. If they gave us ever an all 6th Sentai member special, he would be a requirement.

Yeah, but in a way it makes sense. Without a leader focused on the longtime goal of spreading darkness their egos ran outta control and what happened was something I had a feeling would happen.

The ending was predicable but still touching. ToQger isn't the strongest series and it suffered from following old Sentai tropes to a T (and then a Q and G) but when it wanted to be good it delivered.

Let's see how our third Ninja team pans out next week.

I feel strangely heartless in saying that finale really didn't do it for me and I think the reason is I don't care for any of the Toqgers at all.

Well while like with Kyoryuger the show dropped me at the 20's but came back in the late 30's and well this episode was a good ending and opens up a whole world of sequels.

Though it make you wonder, what will 7 use to transform and what will be his Ressha?

Oh, i have no words to express my feeling.

Great final battle, great lines, music, ending. The return to home, all perfect.

A new classic is born, ToQGer is one of the best sentai, toku and general series I've watched.

i didn't care about the main hero's"brats"

The Shadow Line leaders is the only thing i cared about in this episode
and they were handled poorly
they didn't do much in this episode except sacrificing themselves to give there boss a boost or something


over all the episode was average at best and the show itself is crap
and the main interesting focus about the show was the The Shadow Line and there love triangle drama"wich is bad for me since i kinda was routing for the bad guys in this series similer with Gekiranger wich i also hatee because of the main gekired".
