Dino Charge Ep 03 - A Fool's Hour Discussion and Poll
The third episode of the newest season! Coming to grips with their new powers the Rangers finally meet their adversary, the Bounty Hunter Sledge and his cronies. Can they stand together to defeat the might of his army?! And why does Keeper disappear without so much as a good luck Rangers?!
Find out this week on Power Rangers Dino Charge, airing at Noon on Nickelodeon! Preview clip courtesy of prsamuraicast- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQ0pXH5gDNU THIS Saturday 2-/-21-/-15 at 12e/11c! |
I'm so ready for this episode.
|
I thought for a second, "Wait, did the episode come out already?"
DAMMIT UCHI! DON'T CONFUSE ME! :lol |
This will be fun.
Also, when did you become a Mod anyway? |
Am I the only one that caught the "old friend" line slipping from Sledge's mouth? Wonder what that was supposed to mean? Do Keeper and Sledge share a common history aside from the Energems? Dun dun dun!!!

It may be that too. Who knows. Only time will tell.
|
The clip makes it look there might be something special about Fury that might be related to Dogold's story in Kyoryuger.

Gotta love it when shooting at the Rangers' feet causes explosions behind them. Some things never change. :lol

So we'll get Megazord tomorrow? Neat.
Can't wait for Stego/Raptor combo. |
Correct me if I'm wrong but is this the first Power Ranger show that dosen't show their core Megazords combined within the 2nd episode?
|
New clip from RangerCrew:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mA-DixNK0A Tyler works at the Dino Bite cafe now. |
Sledge certainly knows how to make an entrance.
|
Okay, this was another EXCELLENT episode.
We even have a new cockpit design. :D |
That was a really good episode. The fight talk is still cringeworthy, and while I know that the Stegazord is the main third, an explanation as to why would have been appreciated. The combination is pretty long though, once again proving that the monsters are pretty chivalrous. Not a fan of the finisher either and the controlling of it is odd. I guess they control it with their body movements, but it seemed like most of the moves they did didn't happen. So I don't get it.
It was still a good episode though. If they would've explained why it's Stega I think it would've been a 5/5. |
Awesome episode. Koda... *nosebleed*
|
Did anyone else catch that Tyler was humming Vamola! Kyoryuger while he was flipping burgers at the end?
This cast is literally the best. |
Great episode! Loved the extended morph and new cockpit. Also, apparently Tyler was humming the Kyoryuger theme at the end of the episode. Video link: https://twitter.com/MorphinLegacy/st...89678856986624

If I keep watching this show, the only thing I'm going to say about Dino Charge every time there's a thread for the newest episode is "This season is awesome." There's really nothing bad about these episodes, other than the talking during the fights. But at least they're not as cringe-worthy as Samurai and Megaforce.
In Judd Lynn we trust. |

and the fact that they did the two chargers in one gun but that isnt possible with the deluxe toy. |
I am so pumped for this year and the next cause Dino Charge is on a roll. It is really nice there are some Easter eggs like the humming or Chase referring himself as a "Hot shot"
|
Is there a download avalaible yet?

Also, I feel like Chase is more the leader of the team so far. |
OMG, was that the Kyoryuger theme!?
I think the only part that really bugged me about the episode was the fact that Fury keeps showing up with his furred collar in one scene then again without it in another. I know it's a minor nitpick but the consistency. |
Both Koda and Chase "sang" the kyoryuger theme.
Chase sang it at the beginning of the episode, but with different words. |
Haven't seen the episode yet. I've been busy. So I'm not voting yet, but I did just watch a couple clips. And had some thoughts.
The fact that when they morph they no longer call out the series and their color (Megafoooooorce Red!) is reason enough to prop Chip Lynn on our shoulders as our new Patron US Toku Saint. The one thing I didn't like is the VO during the Megazord combination. It's unneeded and distracting. That Gosei deep VO whenever they do anything involving their powers is unneeded. But I was hoping for a throwback of "Megazord Sequence Has Been Initiated!" That would've made my month. And Dino Steel is perfect. I'm so happy they went with something original over calling it Super Mode or Weapon Mode or something generic and bland. |
i liked how they explained what sledge was doing. his ship was disabled for 65,000,000 years
now that may sound crazy but think about it if his engines are out space is big takes you a wile to get any ware and he had to use a comet to get back to earth which also moves less then the speed of light. it;s a little thing but it made sense and it explained what happened. i will repeat they explained why he was not there after his ship was damaged by the bomb it's weird being excited about such a small little thing. man megaforce was bad |

Other than that I really enjoyed the episode. I like how they use the Kyoryuger footage more creatively and dont just cut out a single fight scene and dub over it. |
Wait...Koda is 100,000 years old and was fully awake the whole time, yet never came in contact with any other humans enough to the point where he can speak English more fluently (the proper word escapes, but I mean non-caveman like)?
That's....either very impressive or very odd. |
I hope the show gets more into that aspect of his character. Since he isnt afraid of modern technology which indicates that he is already used to it thanks to him living for thousands of years. His speach pattern could always be explained by his brain maybe not being developed enough to speak english fluently.
I´m also really interested in his connection to Fury or what Fury was doing for the last 65 million years. |
I sure hope Sledge has a working shower inside his spaceship.
Otherwise he must smell like feet encased in rusty metal. |

I originally thought that Boa Fury Vs. Non-Boa Fury was just a case of new footage vs. Kyoryuger footage, but this episode proves that the lack of consistency even exists in the new footage (correct me if I'm wrong).
For example: When Fury is standing on the sidelines just watching the battle in the field there's no boa, but when he's talking with Sledge in the woods, it's on. Now, is this just a wardrobe error that results in a lack of consistenty, or a hint that maybe there's more than one Fury or he's developed split personalities (signified by boa vs. no boa). Just a crazy fan-theory, of course. |

Anyone else feel that the Megazord lost something when the Samba music was cut?
This 'Dramatic voice!' crap is just annoying. |

sorry, but no fan theory can make that anything but stupid. 100,000 years... no. just no. If he'd been frozen, or asleep for some reason, id be cool with it. or that he was brought back to life after thousands of years. But he's been alive 100,000 years and is still a bit on the slow side, no. a thousand times no. That said, liking the show so far so im just going to ignore it and pretend that bit was some kind of cheese dream |
Question: Is the voice doing the chargers the same one for Gosei? Just wondering.
