The translucent blue pieces look really good, these might be plug-in accesories.

Okay. that is pretty cool! I am enjoying what I have read of the manga, so it is neat to see him in toy form. As an SHF he should scale nicely with my Kamen Rider 1. I haven't bought an SHF (or an Ultra-Act for that matter) in some time, but this one may earn a purchase from me.

On the one hand, that design is so incredibly teched out and greebly that it doesn't really look like Ultraman. On the other hand, it does look really cool as a highly stylized take on the concept; kind of like how SIC works. I may actually look into getting this guy.

No, this is a retail release. Bandai doesn't include exclusives in their monthly "pickup" reveals.

You mean the photoshopped effects in the second and third pictures...?

Nope. Two distinct teams, two slightly different bodystyles that have become more similar over the years, and some difference on the frequency of effects parts until one of the guys recently joined the SHF team and started on the Tamashii Effects line (the guy with that Yoda avatar).

A retail release is nice news. If Bluefin is releasing him in the US then he should be out in the US by August which is around the same time when Viz releases the Ultraman manga in the US.

His weapons that he uses to fire the Ultra-Beam, I don't remember the name. They are not outside the armor on older pictures:

Which let's me to believe they either slide out, or much more likely they plug in, like the lower half of the arm is removable and you have 2 versions: With the weapons deployed or inside the armor.

Ohh, I see now. Didn't notice they weren't deployed on the initial images from last year. You're probably right on the money about there being swap-out pieces unless Bandai chose to simplify things since the prior mockup figure and they'll always be deployed now.

It's the ongoing new manga that started in 2011, to be more precise. Viz is releasing the first volume in English in August.

Whelp. Looks like I'm selling Gaim and or Baron to afford that now.

There aren't much other choices for accessories so I hope they give us this option.

Does he come with that beam or is this from another Ultra-Act and only displayed for these pictures?

It looks like a new part to me but I can't be certain.

I am pretty positive that he will come with the beam. Its rare to show stuff that doesnt come with the figure in those official pictures.

Can I have an anime of this guy or is it to hard to ask due to love the look of the figure.

I'm almost certain there will be an anime of this one day. Maybe not in the next few years, but someday.

Until then, grab the mangas that Viz is starting to release this October :)

Sounds good. I love beam-effects, I rarely get them with my MonsterArts so it would be nice to get one with this guy.
