Starninger is Kinji Takigawa(Kinji is his first name Takigawa his surname).
He is a young man who decided to be a ninja after encountering Yoshitaka in America.
Also the Kakuranger ninshuriken will allow the user to create doubles while the Hurricanger ninshuriken allows the user to use the Soragake technique Hurricanered uses.

Im digging it, but i can just see alot of people being pissed again because he's not a westerner(how everyone was mad that Gou wasnt either)

Starninger looks cool and now that I know he gets a bull mech and a cowboy ninja robot he sounder awesomer than he already did.

I love that the mecha has cowboy boots. And I don't care that he's not a westerner. While that would be nice and all, the romanization that goes on with Drive is enough for me.

Rodeomaru reminds me of Gyro robo from Machine Robo Rescue. Both are cyan, both got some Muhricah in them.

A guitar themed sword... Does he play it like a guitar at times?

So here is what I have picked up from the scan:

Star Swordgun: Starninger's weapon. Along with a fierce guitar sound it can also let out shuriken ninpo. It can attach the furai ninshuriken as well as the starninger ninshuriken.

The furai ninshuriken is the ninshuriken that can utilize the elements of wind and thunder.
When using the kaze no jutsu(wind technique), it can slice enemies by conjuring fierce winds.
When using the kaminari no jutsu(thunder technique) it can fire beams that are like lightning towards the enemy.

So basically wind technique is melee, thunder is ranged.

Using Ghitar with Wind and Thunder technique, did they just adapt Todoroki from Hibiki into this show?

So....what's Akaranger have to do with any of this?

If Tokkyuger hadn't been delayed for a week, and subsequently Ninninnger, the crossover episode would have aired on the 40th anniversary of the first episode of Sentai

Love the designs. Hate the look of the actor.

He's the guy that previously rumoured as AkaNinger.
No official news from his blog and his agency page yet. But I'm pretty sure it's him.

So I'm guessing Ninja and Hurricane Red will just be in-suit appearances, or are the actors who played them making a cameo?

I knew from the get-go that he wasn't going to be a Westerner. It just wasn't going to happen. However, I am surprised that he isn't a cousin of the family who grew up in America and is just now arriving to help out. Everyone else is, so why not him? But maybe that'll be a plotline later on as a 'surprise twist' or something.

Expecting a star or two to be added to the background ukiyoe when they do their rolecall.

If Toei's smart, they'll have at least one scene where Starninger walks into battle playing his guitar sword in a very Akira-type way.

Cowboy to Ninja, Awesome

I can't wait for StarNinger. Also I saw a scan that shows both NinjaRed and HurricaneRed's actors back with the NinNinGers.

He sees Yeehaw. He says Yeehaw. He says Yeehaw. HE SAYS YEEHAW.

I LOVE THIS.

I've been so focused on the gold and the cowboy aspect that I just realized the undersuit of his costume is red,white,and blue.

Dangit man, everything about him is the coolest and most hilarious thing ever. I love him.

Loving the BisonBuggy and BisonKing.

I'm surprised the fringe on his "Chest Shield" is actual hard armor. I originally expected it to be actual tassel string.

Loving the silliness of him wearing the ninja star not on his actual belt, but hanging a bit lower like a gun holster.



Also, do we know when the Bison King toy is going to go on sale? I need to get my hands on this mech so bad.

When will he make his debut?

If rumors are true. StarNinger will first appear in Episode 9- airing April 26th.

That's pretty early for a Sixth... I predict more heroes arriving. Either that, or this show's pacing s worse than we thought

Was thinking the same thing. It's odd that the 6th ranger is so early. Here's hoping that the pacing doesn't turn to crap.
