Upgrade form looks awesome, however it makes ninja looks like Samurai x Oni, looks quite bulky and heavy. Wait for it in action, this scan is just illustration so there's better chance the real one looks better.
And LionHaoh(?), it looks crazy. Can't wait for the cluster combination.

Before Ninninger began, we heard that special effects director Hiroshi Wakita had grown bored with single-series themes and decided that they would put every previous Super Sentai mecha concept in this new line.

So, they need a dinosaur to check that off the list.

I like how the Dino is a decent remold from PaonMaru. It is definitely the same base, but they put the sound shuriken thingie on the tail and made it able to rear up on its hind legs. I like it more than PaonMaru by far.

I guess a weaponized throne makes sense. If it was actually a second, larger robot that ShurikenJin was sitting in, it'd be massive. There's some jokes here about ShurikenJin sitting on a toilet or being an old guy in a weaponized wheelchair, chasing kids off his lawn.
And am I missing something about what HaOh means? Samurai HaOh from Shinkenger was supposed to be sitting or standing on a weaponized throne, as well. I didn't think HaOh could encompass the entire concept of a dude sitting on a throne in just 4 letters...

Actually it's just Paonmaru turned around backwards. They put the face on the butt of the figure is all :lol

I'll admit, I was still hoping for some absolutely crazy combo that uses all of the Otomo Nin at the same time. But it's still early in the year, so we're hopefully not done yet.

When Power Rangers Shuriken Squad come to the West, we need to see the Legacy Dragonzord, SMF Q-Rex and the Tyranno Ninja Zord combined in a drill-tailed theropod war machine.

I really wish the show and the toys were seperate. I can only dream that Saban would turn this into a "Greatest Hits" version of Power Rangers. Bring back actors from previous shows and explain the zords that way.

That's the thing to consider: we're barely eight episodes in and we're getting toy scans for what seems like the ultimate configuration. What else does Bandai have in store for us? I was figuring at least one more Ranger before they got to this point.

Nothing and thats the point. The Production team didnt want to be limited by a unifying theme when designing the mecha so they just did whatever they wanted.

And man that power-up form looks totally like a metal hero :lol

Wasn't a fan of the first mecha or Sixth's, but this... this reminds me of something out of Samurai Pizza Cats. Even the Lion face in upright formation reminds me of that dog character from SPC.
