Things should be easier for the team with a new Rider around, right?

So uh I'm not sure if this is right since I can't speak japanese and had to translate japanese fans using twitter's translators but if I read correctly Gou and Kiriko's parents created the Roidmudes, or at the very least were involved in their creation

Can't wait to see the subs now, a lot of this episode was really intense. It was a good episode that was brought down a bit by those actually god awful looking flying go karts. They're so ugly, they don't even fit with the aesthetic that's been running through the series, even the toys look out of place in the toyline, whoever designed them should be fired O___O.

This one has been good from what I have seen of the raw.

Nira somehow has risen to the second place spot of most hated Kamen rider character, I really do not like how obnoxious this guy.

You telling me the reason of why Gou HATES Roidmudes so much because they're responsible for their parents' death?! But Kiriko didn't find out about this as I states that Gou's Reason will shock Kiriko.

Kiriko and Gou's father is Professor Banno, the creator of the Roidmudes.
Somehow Kiriko doesn't know the truth (or part of the truth?), and Gou is trying to keep the secret from his sister before it being exploited.

So, Kiriko doesn't know her father and Mr. Belt and possibly Gou are trying to keept secret from her.

But why her dad have different last name than Kiriko's last name? (Shijima)

We don't know if Professor Banno was intending for the Roidmudes go berserk and cause the Global Freeze.

Could be mom's since their dad doesn't seemed to be interested in the family according to Gou's memory.

Krim knows about Banno. Harley probably knows Banno as well.
Chief and most likely those in high places knows about Shinnosuke's dad.
There are so much hidden "mysteries" of the 2 families yet to be told.

Damn! Riku Sanjo you did it again! You better off making Kamen Rider show than Super Sentai because he gave us a plot twist, Banno is the father of Kiriko and Gou and no one see it coming.

Kiriko and Gou are playing the important roles since they're children of Banno who creates Roidmudes who cause Global Freeze!

Not so sidekick anymore, Gou. I heard many people complain about Accel or Meteor or all Kyoryuger are treated like sidekick to main guy. But not anymore.

Remember when you guys figure out or somehow knew that Philip was the son of Ryubee Sonozaki and Shroud.

The key to all mystery will be revealed in type Tokujo.

Seems like Drive is super interesting all of a sudden. :P

Yeah because I want to know if Roidmude 001 was murderer of Shinnosuke's father and I want to see Kiriko's reaction when she found out that she is daughter of Banno and Roidmudes are the one who killed her father!

I love that we are learning more of Shinnosuke and Kiriko's Family!

I see the episode and I was shocked the way Gou tell his confession to Shinnosuke.

He's act if his father was involved in 9/11 type stuff.

And plus what's does he means when he say "I'm running out of time"?

He is unable to catch up with the progression of the Roidmudes.

I'm wondering if Gou is a roidmude. He could have been his father's creation.

How is that possible?

I think Roidmude did something to Gou to make him act like that because he seemed to be acting like the parents of the crying child he was trying to help.

Edit: Plus there's whole Roidmude saying "this going according to the plan." thing

How did Kamen Rider Drive got everyone suddenly interested in Drive again?

It stopped sucking.

Probably not a top series for me still, but I'm at least not pissed off because I waited a week for the next episode to suck anymore.

This episode had what I consider one of the best things about superheroes, not just Kamen Riders: it isn't all about the main character.

Shin was in a bind, and couldn't actively participate in the fight, so another Rider stepped up and saved the day for him.

I like it when someone can write a superhero story, like Grant Morrison's Justice League or the Avengers, where the win isn't always secured by just one person on the team (*cough* Goku *cough* Saiyans *cough*).

Also Gou is carrying some mad guilt there.

I find myself oddly respecting Chief Honganji a ton more after this episode. The speech he gave Shinnosuke shows that he's no fool. He's more like the DJ Sagawa of this series.

Gou being mopey and dreary with guilt is even more obnoxious than when he's being flamboyant. But it makes more sense now about his reasoning. I actually feel like the statement that he's running out of time is due to his ability to become Mach. Even from the beginning, while his power is supposed to be greater than Drives, it has a limit. Shinnosuke can use Drive's abilities and Shift Cars because of his will power, and that is how he's able to control Type Formula, even at high speeds.

Chaser....we're still seeing the same formula where he's just in there for a fight. I don't know if we'll ever see more development out of him, so whatever. At least the gimmicks are cool. And we get to see how the Ride Boosters fit into the movie.

Oh, and Kiriko, you're gonna have to work harder on that slap. You haven't reached Gaim Mai slapping Micchy levels of slappage. Learn from the pros, lean into it for more power. Slap til he can taste it.

You know that Gou and Kiriko are children of Professor Banno?

While Kiriko doesn't know that Banno was her father, Gou wants to destroy all Roidmudes especially Chase to clean out his father's sin before his sister found out the truth about Her Father murdered by 3 Roidmudes

This episode was very good, but gosh, I wonder why did people pick "poor" for their choice?

I not sure who picked it but they might have problems with the fact that the sudden plot twist that the Gou and Kiriko's father is the professor Banno aka the catalyst for why bad thing are happening and somehow Gou knows this and Kiriko doesn't and that part might bug people.

I thought it was great plot twist.

I have theory of why Gou know about Professor Banno as his father but Kiriko doesn't know it because maybe Mr. Belt did tell Gou about his father when Gou become Kamen Rider Mach and tries to kept secret from Kiriko because this secret as Banno as Kiriko's father would shock her.

I'm pretty sure it's the same person who's been voting poor on a lot of the episodes even before they air. On the Banno point, we never really found out anything about him beyond him being a colleague of Krim and his creation of Roidmudes. Kirko not knowing about her relation to Banno is kinda odd but that's only that way because we don't know much about Kirko's and Gou's past. I seriously hope these mysteries will be revealed in the show and not in Type Tokujo.

I was really hoping that they weren't going to put those stupid go-carts in the show.

im still thinking it's possible that gou is a roidmude since he wasnt an aggressive with his actions with the roidmudes in the beginning. i think brain did something to gou that make him go out of control as the episodes progressed , so he can get revenge on chase at all costs, i mean there's a reason why brain is behind gou, no human would work with roidmude not unless he is one, we are just not seeing it.

it might explain why kirko couldnt find out about gou's father because real gou probably died and father created a roidmude gou to make kirko believe nothing happened, so keeping the father secret would keep kirko at peace.

if she found out about her father it would devastating since he created the roidmudes and possibly created gou to replace the one that died.

it's not surprising since double they created secondary characters they are not human.

That's best theory ever but it's doesn't make sense! How Gou is a roidmude if Density Shift make him go slow in Episode 13. I want you to explain why Gou is not immune to Density Shift (His mini bike does not count)

It's would be super shocker if Kiriko was Roidmude giving her relationship with Chase and doesn't know her dad well. That's would be very difficult choice for Gou since he love his sister but at same time he hates all roidmude. Just saying.

i can guess that maybe gou is part human/part roidmude, his human side cant handle the density shift, the other thing is if you didnt take notice that in episode 13 that he was able to create a density shift, no human would do that.

plus heart talking how about how gou was able to get through the dead zone, that seems roidmude like.

i mean anything is possible when it comes to kamen rider, you cant say gou or any of the cast is not a roidmude, it's just gou hiding the facts of their father and his actions are very unusual like he's being controlled. if gou is roidmude, im sure the explanations will become more clear.

If he want to destroy all Roidmude to clear his Father's Sin. Does that means he have to destroy himself if he's half-human and half-Roidmude?

Anyway, unlike Kosuke from Wizard who doesn't play major role in MAIN storyline. Gou and Kiriko does play major role in MAIN storyline since their father is Professor Banno the one who creates 108 Roidmudes and Kiriko's relationship with Chase.

Do you think that having Professor Banno as Gou and Kiriko's father help the Show's storyline? Because no one see this coming!

He created that density shift using the Mach System. Mr. Belt explicitly stated that the Drive and Mach Drivers can create density shift due to being based on the same tech the Roimudes use to do it. Shin and Gou (after a talking-to by Shin) choose not to use that ability because it freaks people out.

It didn't really suck to begin with, though.

Like ToQger, Drive started with a jog before gradually picking up its pace, which isn't uncommon in toku. Heck, everyone says Kamen Rider Blade gets fantastic after 15 episodes. A lot of people tend to expect the latest Rider or Sentai to be awesome from episode 1 onward without any real slowness or fail. Least that how it always seems to me.

Personally, I think it started with a brisk run in the first couple of episodes, slowed down rather quickly to a jog (and even a light walk for a couple of episodes) before finally kicking it into gear with the last few.

I guess you can say Drive is now in top gear. :p
