Let's Create A Our Own Sentai Team
 

Hey it's Helios and GreenPsychoRanger! Together we are creating a Tokunation Sentai team similar to the Tokunation rider project that is currently going on. This is not replacing it, but it is a partner project. We still need your help for the rider project so please don't forget about that, but we would like to see you guys contribute to both. We'll probably work on one project while the other one is going through the voting process and then switch and let the other project develop and let the other one go through voting. Just like the rider project we need motif ideas so please give us whatever you got. Thanks!

I would like us to try and not use any of the previously used motifs. But if we must, lets try to use the less common and rarely used.
Another idea I thought we could use is having each member of the team being a different motif. Think of the Nininger Mecha, how each members Mecha was a different thing, not necessarily ninja related (except for Red). But instead of the Mecha, each members suit is differently noticed.

Whatever happened to that ModRanger thing? Was that the previous iteration of this?

A motif I've always wanted were insects.

Jungle animals like they did with gaoranger or cowboys because cowboys are badass.

Jungle animals have been used multiple times, but Cowboys are okay.

I can dig the insects motif. But sadly, some one else on here has already begun work on a cowboy Sentai group. I should know, I helped him.

How about a video game themed one? I think that was only tried once.

Each ranger could be a different Genre, like shooters or RPG's.

The Gunmanger thing right? So far we only have the insect and video game motif then.

How about steam punks or another spec ops sentai. Maybe a medieval knight theme?

Someone else and I are working on a Knight theme. >_> Yes, I'm working on a lot of projects with people. Actually the same person that made Gunmanger is working on the Knight. >__>

Awwww...I've wanted insects for a long time. I guess we can't do that.

Special operations kinda like how go busters was. Basically it's a part of the government that is used to do something.

For the motif, we want something new, but special ops can go in many ways, so I guess it'll work.

Why not a supernatural themes group? If you want to go the government route, we could make it like a Supernatural Branch.

Correct. I've actually created a lot of series of Sentai :lol. At this point:

Yume Sentai Mythonger: Mythology+Elements+Dreams+Magic, Enemies are Nightmare, malevolent mythical beasts.

Shizen Sentai Mushinger: Insects+Nature+Technology, sequel to Mythonger featuring their kids, enemies are poisonous Animals.

Tokunation Sentai ModRanger: Featured the Mods as Rangers, Motifs are mixes of almost everything that the respected mod liked, put on hiatus, had a planned reboot, had another planned reboot to go back to the original.

Tobaku Sentai Fantasia: Fantasy Video Games+Character classes, Villains are from a War/1st Person Shooter Video Game. Summer movie would've included forms based off of Japanese character classes (I.E. RedKnight->RedSamurai, YellowArcher->YellowNinja, etc)

Though, I haven't worked on any of them in a while. I should get back on that XD

I also had a Ninja themed Fruits and Veggie Sentai called Teisatser, but I never worked beyond WhiteOnion :lol

Yeah that's another great idea. It'll be a Kiva counterpart.

A space theme. It can borrow elements from the most popular science fiction novels/movies

How about for space, we focus more on the alien aspect of it rather than astronauts and rockets.

I think aliens are overused with the villains. I was thinking they could be part of a scientific research company and they have to fight off the aliens that they mistakenly came into contact with or something. Like they are cleaning up their own mess they created. This way some of the fighting can take place on earth and some in space (like if they stopped them from reaching the surface).

Ok. So I've gone through the posts, and I've noticed that we don't even have any motifs yet. So, I have a suggestion. Why don't we put a poll up on the number of members we want there to be in the Sentai group. From there we'll move on.


Do we want there to be just 5, 6, or more? But I think we should put a cap on the number. Maybe 8?

I agree with you. I personally think there should be more than six members. I just it up a poll listing 3-10 members.

I think it's been over week, not a few days. We need to get the wheel rolling on this.

we need more teams of seven.

with the 6th being the older strongest lone wolf and the 7th being the guy everyone loves to see join the team.

I voted for a team of seven. I think it could give a good dynamic to the team and the two rangers that join the team could be treated like Go-On Wings and have their own semi-team type thing.

Video Games
Spec Ops
Medieval Knights
Steampunk
Space
Aliens

After the poll for the number of team members, we have to decide on a motif, so we need some more.

I think we'll be good to use just the ones we have. We don't have to have a 10 set of options. I think 7 is enough for a vote.

I wanted something more creative I'm not completely happy with the motifs we have. I think we need a couple of really good ones.

You want a weird/different/creative one? Fruit...Yes, that was kind of a poke at your sig, I couldn't resist. :lol

Not weird, but a really cool theme that has never been used. How about sea animals?

I would love a team that is based on powers given to them by the earth itself.
