Even though I haven't been watching Drive at all, I couldn't resist the styling of Mashin Chaser and his bike. Even though I knew it as packaged in the new slimmer boxes, it came as a surprise as to how small the redesigned packaging actually is.

Got myself a Kureshima bros themed package today: The DX Yomotsuheguri Lockseed/Ryugen Yomi faceplate set and the DX Watermelon Lockseed/ red-trimmed Zangetsu faceplate set. (Yeah, I totally had to check the box to spell 'Yomotsuheguri' right.) Put them together and you can make Takatora and Mituzane have conversation that makes no sense! Two more to add to my (likely never to be completed) DX lockseed collection.

Looking at all my faceplates, I wonder if anybody was crazy enough to get enough Sengoku driver to display them all seperatly.

Got my AmiAmi June order and an Amazon order in: Mach w/ Funky Spike, Renewal Shadow Moon, 66 Action wave 6, Figma Snake, Nendoroid WW Link, UW Superion, and a new camera.

I'm just happy to be able to share the wonder & joy of Figuarts with my old friend back home...when I get there in a few days. We grew up on Power Rangers, and new to Super Sentai/Tokusotsu.

My haul for him:

I got the 1:12 concrete blocks in. These things are awesome. They're easily some of my favorite scale items I've gotten thus far.

The KO burst effect isn't my favorite. The tips of the effect are thin material and, as such, are tending to curl already. The guy threw in a bonus KO stage which was super nice of him.

Wait that Mako is already out? I thought it was a Wonderfest exclusive?

Some cons were selling her recently (AX for example). What pissed me off was that GoodSmile sold out, and then vendors had her throughout the con at jacked up prices >_<

The exclusives are always available at any convention GSC goes to, so they were sold at AX and Japan expo(?). Then they go up online later this month.

Oh I know GSC would be selling her at other cons (it's how I got my Armin Figma), I'm just surprised that she was announced as a Wonderfest exclusive and then they'd go and sell her before Wonderfest.

I put an Amiibo up for sale and then another showed up at my door :lol

I'm waiting for Mako to go up on the GSC store, it's just safer that way haha. How much was that macro lens? Is it for a canon or nikon camera? Really trying to find one atm that doesn't break the bank D;

Mako is my favorite Nendoroid ( i even bought two) so I was willing to pay too much to get the two star version now instead of waiting. I think i'm gonna order three more when they go up though...

I paid like 212 or so for the Macro, the Tamron 60mm seems to go fairly cheap though, around 230 from Japan. I actually wanted a 90mm but then the price went up to like 500. You can get it for either canon or nikon, or even pentax I think. I use an old minolta macro lens right now, but it's manual focus only and I wanted to have 1:1 magnification without using a extension tube.

I love her two star uniform so this will be my first mako nendo, though really tempted to pick up the normal version for parts swapping and guts. (Though what I'd reallllllly love is a figma version but that's never gonna come :( )

That's in dollars right? Oh wow that's actually pretty cheap, usually here it would be around that price in GBP which is just ludicrous, whereabouts do you find this stuff?

The old one. The new one wont even be out til December or January. I paid a fair amount for this original release though. But luckily the prices have come down on them :D

The tamron seems to be one of the best in terms of cost to performance. It's also a bit short for true outdoors macro work and stuff, where people probably want something like 150+ which might be why it's pretty cheap. If you have Nikon, theres one another one on ebay for about 230 USD shipped from japan. If you are interested, I can just PM you the link.
