Sweet~

So it's gonna be a one a year thing... goodie....
Not that Shout Factory has done a bad job by any means, but I think fans would like to see some more modern Sentai seasons sooner then 2035. |
BEST SDCC EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my god this is amazing news. OH HAPPY DAY!!! |
Awesome news. I... still need to get the first set they released, but knowing that they are continuing these releases should get me to go buy that one sooner rather than later.
I kinda hope they either spead-up the releases, or find some way to get some of the more recent seasons out. A release for Ninninger once it's finished would be great. |
yes! I just hope the speed up the relies to 2 or 3 a year, like one pre-power ranger and one post power ranger a year would be nice

This is great news.

Hmm. I wouldn't mind picking up GogoV or Carranger, or Megaranger, or Timeranger, or Dekaranger, or.... once they get released too.

I guess it was inevitable after Legacy Thunder Megazord/Dairenoh's unveiling...

I've never seen the show, but I know this is something a lot of people wanted so I'm happy it's getting released. Plus it's nice to see the Sentai DVDs continue.

To be honest: I really do not like this news at all. Since Shout! Factory only releases their DVD's on Region 1 (US and Canada only), I am unable to play them, as I live in the Netherlands(Region 2). Which is a really bummer, as this means I am still dependent on the fansubs to watch Sentai/tokusatsu, instead of being able to buy an official DVD set. While I really do support legal Tokusatsu releases, I dislike the fact Europe gets shafted during almost every release. Another example of this is Ultraman streaming on Crunchyroll, which is unavailable at my side of the Atlantic, due to a region lock. If these legal releases only happen in the US, fans from European and other non-US countries will have a real hard time to watch Tokusatsu, as most fansubbers stop working on their subbed versions after the announcement of an official release is made. </rant> |
Legacy Thunder Megazord and English Dairanger DVDs? Awesome! I guess Zyuranger sold well enough then.

Oh good! Just one more year until we get into the really good stuff. :D
|
Nice to see Zyuranger wasn't a one and done deal for Super Sentai on DVD. Gives me hope that one day I might be able to own Gekiranger on DVD.
|
Dairanger? Sweet. I dont care what show it is, I love the fact I can own a Sentai series on official discs.
Now, Shout!, I'll keep em buyin, just be sure to release Hurricanger-GekiRanger |
But I never got the first sentai release in my area
|
Awesome news. I would like to see pre-Zyuranger on DVD. Goranger would be cool to show what the very first Super Sentai was like to casuals. However it's a very long show and a big boxset would be very pricey.

It's not that I'm upset that they're releasing more Sentai DVDs. It's that it's been 4-5 months, and I still haven't watched a majority of my Zyuranger DVDs. And I'm worried that if Shout! continues to release Sentai every year, I'm going to have to get a job, and even then the DVDs will gather dust on my shelf.
|
I hope someday they can go back, and give us Jetman...
|
Soooooo happy to finally have this revealed. Hated Zyuranger so I didn't buy it but this I will for sure.
|
I got the last set & it was just so soo well i don't know what to say. But i did Not get in to it. This is a pass.
|
Am I a bad person because my first response after seeing this news was to go over to TV-Nihon's website to watch people freak out?
