Crunchyroll Adds "Ultraman X" to Streaming Lineup
 

Great news everyone, it looks like Ultraman X will be on Chruchyroll. No more worry about fan subbing going to sub Ultraman or not. Episodes will broadcast every Tuesday starting July 14 at 3:30am Pacific Time. Sorry if this news already been posted since I did a search for it on the forums and I found nothing.

I didn't try Ultraman because the subs were hard to come by. Now that there is a official sub, I can check it out.

And several fansub groups cried a sigh of relief.

"OH GOD YES, WE DON'T HAVE TO SUB IT!"

This is so awesome =) I really wanted to watch UltraMan X, it looks really good.

I really don't get the anti-Ultra bias in the fansubbing community. I freaking love these shows.

Yeah why is there a bias? I don't understand why the UltraMan and Metal Heroes shows aren't being subtitled except for the couple exceptions.

The Western Toku fandom is so odd to me sometimes. It seems like most fan subbers are only into Kamen Rider, Sentai and sometimes Garo. There is other Toku besides those three. It's like being a anime fan subber and only subbing Dragon Ball, Naruto and One Piece.

I think part of the lack of interest in Ultraman is due to its lower presence. It also doesn't run continuously like Sentai and Kamen Rider, it runs shorter seasons, and not always every year. Tsuburaya really drop the ball after 2006. I remember when the Ultra shows would have longer seasons in the late 90's and early-mid 2000's.

I really happy that they are doing this.

Can we push for Garo next

I was very excited to hear this news. I have been watching Leo on CR and cannot wait for X.

I do not have a Premium Membership, but I understand that their Simulcasts typically become available for all viewers after a week. Can anyone confirm this? If this is not the case, honestly, $7 a month is not bad at all considering you also get added features like a queue.

Also, as an aside: who is the first monster we see in Ultraman X? Why none other than my avatar, the first monster ever to ever fight an Ultra Hero, Bemular! I wonder if X will use a Cyber Card to get Bemular's tiny arms at some point...
