Can't say I'm totally thrilled with the cover art, but at least it matches the Zyuranger one. Odd that they have Rin wearing an outfit she wore one time in the entire series though while they have everyone else wearing their standard openign gear.

Ew that box art does not look good. I can see it turning a lot of people off from purchasing this and checking the series out. Also isn't the Zyuranger DVD like 40$ on Amazon? $60 seems way to high for me to budge at this, also I've seen Dairanger so I'm not in a rush to buy this.

I just don't get Shouts aversion to showing the suits on the cover. Sure it may confuse people and they might think they're buying Power Rangers, but I mean really? How dense would you have to be to mistake one for the other? And in the case of Dairanger the only suit that would even be recognizable is Kibaranger. So why go so far out of the way to not feature the suits on the cover? It just seems ridiculous to me.

The boxart does suck. I was expecting Kibaanger next to Dairen'oh on the cover. Oh well, better then nothing I guess. I'm surprise that it's coming out sooner then later. I was expecting it to be out early 2016 similar how Zyuranger was this year.

Man that art sucks. The photos kinda seem randomly stitched together. Also what the heck with that background? Zyuranger gets a fantasy looking one but Dai gets, computer screensaver? A setting sun with some mountains would have been more appropriate.

Well, I'm not surprised. I was basically anticipating this after Zyuranger :lol

boxart is okay, but Ill still buy it, when Amazon puts it up for preorder. They usually have it a bit cheaper.

I'm okay with the suits not being on the cover since they didn't do it with Zyuranger, but I do agree.

$60 is the SRP, which is the same as Zyu. When Zyu actually came out on Amazon it was on sale for $38. You can now get it for $32 (and I just ordered a set to give away as a prize at my Sentai panel next month), so I expect it to be about the same.

BTW, word is Brian is still trying to get the rights to include the movie on the set.

I can understand Zyuranger doing that cover to get the facts into people's heads that it is not MMPR and is the source material.
And I guess they just want to stick to this format.
But personally I would rather see the suits.

Regarding the complaints against the artwork, it's not terrible but not perfect. If they want to make it better, a silhouette of the respective Ranger forms or the helmets at least placed above the respective actors might suffice.

Hell, I would have loved if they had them in the outfits they wore when they fought Zaidous without their powers.

I just wish their suits were more prominent. I know it's the style of the Super Sentai releases to show the heroes in their normal attire to not confuse buyers, but they only show them behind their control deck in DaiRenOh and from a low angle on their bikes? Damn...

Well, if this Sentai series continues, I hope the show the Kakurangers in their ninja attire and not their street clothes.

A good quality, almost HD-style screen cap would definitely appeal to long time Dairanger fans.

Yeah I'll think I'll hold out for the old Amazon discount. Got Zyuranger much cheaper since it was only $35. Not paying full price for this set.

Amazon has it up though, so they will discount it automatically as it goes on sale.

Cheaper is cool, but it is Dairanger, so I'm buying it even if I have to pay full price for it. Compared to what I paid for for the Region 2 DVDs, this is a fraction of the cost.

Just in case you guys were holding off, Amazon has knocked Dai's price down to $43.
