So...no Break Gunner. That kind of sucks. That kind of sucks a lot. Oh well. Not the first time the Drive line of Figuarts doesn't include all the proper accessories with a figure by a long shot. Still, a disappointment.

Still, he looks fantastic. Definitely a must get.

Did anyone really, truly, honestly expect him to come with a Break Gunner given how they've done all the other accessories with Drive Riders? I certainly didn't.

Torn on how much I want this. I still just do not like the suit. But Mashin Chaser looks odd on the shelf with Mach and Drive.. Eh I suppose I could try down the line if I really feel the need. Not preordering at least.

At least his right gripping hand is molded to work with the Gunner. It would have been insult added to injury if they didn't at least do that. Still doesn't excuse not including the gunner (if anything, it makes it a little worse, like they are teasing us), but I suppose it is something.

Exactly. They have the accessories done already so it's not like this needs extra sculpting work or anything... just produce some more.

Because those are the only one with a pre-order deadline for now. I wouldn’t be surprised if NY fucks everyone with Pay Later-options over by sending them the same E-mails 2 months before release when Premium Bandai closes the pre-orders.

And yes, the pay-later option is officially dead for Web-Exclusives now.

I still haven't had to pay for any of my October-December orders or even Cure Echo and she only just went up for pre-order recently and isn't out until January.

He really doesn't need the breakgunner...for pictures I'll just use the other one I have. I mean it's not like he stores it on him when using the axe, and I'll be displaying him chopping, not gunning.

Not everyone interested in Kamen Rider Chaser is going to have a Mashin Chaser to borrow a Gunner from. People shouldn't have to get two figures to get the most out of one.

Agreed. The Break Gunner is integral to Chase as a character, it's not specific to one of his forms or the other. Both use it heavily. So it should come with one. It's sad that Chaser doesn't when the inclusion of it would be at minimal cost.

You're the same person deriding anyone who wanted a door gun or sword with Drive Type Speed. Because despite what you insist, they're not specific to his other forms (and have been used a whole lot more by Speed than Wild or Technic) and should have been included.

It is literally not any different here. Which is why I'm just not surprised by it.

I'm not saying it shouldn't have been included (as one who wanted the sword and gun with Speed, of course I think it should have), but don't you see the hypocrisy you're displaying here?

An easier option is to buy the TK Machine Chaser figure. It's a great figure on it's own and it's much cheaper, the sculpt on his break gunner is really good as well, just have to paint it up a bit and bam perfect for a figuarts.

I don't understand how you can buy a Rider Chaser and not have Machin Chaser.

Rider was retail and easy to get. It was a sick design.

Machin will have dispay options without the break gunner: riding the bike or with the virus upgrades

Not sure why that's such a difficult concept to understand.

I know I'm pretty much the first person in existence to say this, but I don't really care for Mashin Chaser's design much at all. Love Chaser as a Rider, though. I'm not going to go out and buy a figuarts just because it was retail and easy to get if the design does nothing for me.

Also this implies that people are all going to be buying the bike and the chaser accessory set (which, as an exclusive, is, oh, just more expensive than Mashin Chaser himself). This is not the case. Again. People shouldn't have to go and buy a bunch of ancillary stuff to enjoy their figures...

I'm not really a fan of this design, I thought the Mashin Chaser suit was much cooler looking. This is a nice figure, but I'll be skipping it since I don't have enough interest in Drive to pick up each character's different forms.

Because, as I stated, this is an item that's integral to the character. The Door Gun & Handle Sword aren't henshin devices that Drive uses in both his civilian and rider forms like the Break Gunner. Chase doesn't even use it to henshin anymore but still uses it as a sidearm regularly. So no, I don't really see hypocrisy in that. I feel like there's an actual case to be made here based on the obvious relevance of the item to the rider.

And please don't quote me as saying the gun & sword were specific to any of Drive's other forms as I didn't. When theses forms were initially revealed, in mag scans last year, the implication at the time was that they'd be used with specific forms. That's about the only time I talked about that. My main argument for their inclusion with Figuarts now is that they followed the same release pattern as the TK figures.

I just don't think we should be shocked he doesn't given the precedence within just the other Drive releases (which are comparable... as integral to the character it may be, for this particular form it's just another weapon in the arsenal, just like those other examples). Justifiably angry, but not surprised by it. It sucks, but it's what I expected. That's all.
