I hate that feeling you get when your favourite character dies.

Brian's death left me in tears...probably beats episode 6 as my favorite episode. Love that they circle Banno with so much hate even if the bastard got away. Only 5 more episodes to go D:

Oh poor Brain.. I hoped he would survive.

I wasn't expecting it to happen like that but that was indeed sad.

On the 'things other than Brain's death' side, Kamen Rider Jun was kind of funny. Hopefully they fix that soon.

Banno is a son of a bitch. That is what this episode should've been titled. I knew Brain had a plan when he stopped and looked back before surrendering. I didn't know that was going to be it. I also don't know how in the heck they're actually going to beat him. He doesn't have a power-up left unless they oneshot NEXT or something.

Fanfic idea incoming:

Mr. Belt turns on autopilot mode (assuming surprise future is canon) -> goes to Type Next

Shinnosuke takes Chase's Driver and goes Chou/Super Dead Heat and fight Banno.

Would totally work and a good use of movie props.

Awww....poor Brain. That definitely counts as one of the sadder character endings. Not as sad as Baron, but I digress.

The series really has hit it's straightaway, hasn't it? Lovely use of characters, excellent puns without it being too much (Kamen Rider Gen was actually funny), and just enough drama to cry about.

Like someone else said, this one's an onion. Lots of layers, and you're gonna cry.

wow...just...wow...best part is that it all works...I little let down about 004 though, was hoping we'd just get a bit more out of him. I am glad Medic is back to herself. This should be good.

Yeah. Honestly, when we first learned about Sigma, I thought 004 would be the host for it or something.

Alas, Poor Brain

You will be remembered for having a saddest death scene in Kamen Rider History :(

Even Medic mourn for him despite her treated Brain bad and I think she regret that she never did a nice thing to Brain

This is final straw for Heart, Heart cannot being order by his best friend's Killer, Banno. Heart is angry :mad:

I know Kiriko will pick Shinnosuke over Chase.

Chase is officially in FRIEND ZONE! He's even experience heartbreak! :p

A show that have a rocky start and have best ending! :)

Things I liked:
1) Poor Brain
2) Kamen Rider Jam
3) Chase's little moment as he leaves the hospital

Things I didn't like:
1) The continued use of Kiriko as just a damsel in distress.
2) The Shinoske-Kiriko romance. It's an excellent ship but each scene it's brought up is painful.
3) Bano's weird laugh-cry after brain died. That sound was just annoying.

It was somehow more annoying. Maybe because Bano did that for 5 or so minutes.

... And there was me thinking I'd never feel sad for Brain after that arc with Nira...

Can we just take the Trailer Cannon to Banno's stupid belt-face and blast him point-blank? think that would have a pretty good chance to stop him once and for all.

The final villain of Drive has the same voice actor as Japanese Tidus, I have no idea what to think of this.

See, I loved that because of how weird and creepy it was. Until he revealed his master plan I'd assumed he was having a complete mental breakdown.

I liked the episode, overall. The comedic scenes were ridiculous and over the top, but I'm fairly desensitized to that aspect of Drive now. And really, the scene where they were trying to cut the captain out of his armor was funny enough to make up for the Kiriko hospital scene and Brain's last rounds of prancing.

I'm really curious to see how the show resolves Brain and Medic's story. We are into almost full-on Rio and Mele territory here. I have to assume they'll help the Riders take down Banno, but I'm very curious to see what happens after that.

Next episode: Kamen Rider Chase Dies! Such a wonderfully Showa-esque spoiler-happy title.

And somehow, Banno ended up being even more hateable than mid-Gaim Mitsuzane. Excellent antagonist right there. His laughing throughout the entire scene after Brain died is just so friggin' creepy. Like Switchblade, I thought he had totally lost his mind.

Brain's death was the saddest thing I've ever seen. I even cried a little when Chase figured out Kiriko loves Shinnosuke. Some many feels!!!

Side note, I kind of found it funny that Shinnosuke and Kiriko are Mr. Belt's OTP

Brains death has to be the first death in kamen rider that made me shed a tear. He may have been a bit annoying at times but in the end he did a noble deed. R.I.P brain.

Other than that I loved the episode especially the whole kiriko denying her feelings for shinnosuke and chase being like I can see straight through your bullshit.

This episode was soooooo sad. Brain was probably one of the funniest villains ever. I'll miss him. I really wish he could've fought with Heart and Medic in the final battle. Next episode will be even sadder with Chase.

Did anyone else notice Chaser's eyes kept on changing eyes from a light orange to a red orange during the end?

Yeah that's happened a few times in previous episodes. It might be because suit actors use two different helmets: one for fight scenes and one for conversations. That could be the reason, but why the compound eyes are different colours, I don't know.

I looked through the whole scene and I dont see where they change a whole lot. They look pretty consistent to me.

They actually did change if you can really distinguish the two colors well. Go to the Kamen Rider Wiki and look at Chase's page, it has an image comparing the compound eyes.
