Kamen Rider Sepecter's costume will be a slight remold of Ghost's own basic Ore Damashii, Specter also uses the same Driver. The key differences between the two riders will be Specter's horns/crest, his coloration, and the alternate emblem on his chest.

Damn that looks good. Eye don't know who's look Eye like better. This is going to be a fun ride.

Nice, only makes sense to make Specter's default color blue to contrast Ghost's orange.
Also notice how the weapon, ganganhand, forms a clenched hand in rod mode and then resembles a hand holding a gun in gun mode.

This is neat! The two riders are common depications of Oni. One red(-ish) the other blue (with one or two horns). But usually the blue one has one horn while the red has two. It makes me think that there is going to be something more sinister about Ghost and Specter later in the series. We shall see.

Now can we talk about Specter's weapon? It appears to be modeled on a Japanese large bore musket. Very cool. No idea what the fist is going to be used for other than punching. Again I'm sure we'll find out by the end of the year.

Ghost is looking more and more interesting the closer we get to the premier episode. I just hope it ends up as good as Drive and Gaim.

Not into it, looks like a watered down version of Ghost. Too similar.

If they use the same Driver, does that mean we might get another (evil?) Rider who uses a different Driver? Because isn’t the point of a secondary Rider more toy-sales, aka being able to sell two different belts?

The colors Ghost and Specter use are similar to the portal colors from Portal. The Eyecons also look like personality cores. Coincidence? I think not!!

I like it , I am biased since blue is my favorite color, but from what i see he looks way to much like ghost. That and I'm disappointed the secondary rider isn't either a werewolf or a ghost hunter. Also seeing images this early, seems like the secondary rider is going to appear earlier, sweet.

Not necessarily an evil one but we will get at least one more Rider around January. Spectre is gonna show up in November so his Merch isnt part of the second quarter that usually had the secondary Rider gear in recent years.

I was thinking the same. I can understand the same Driver but was hoping for a bit more suit variation

I like the suit. But as for what Kiwami and ZRV are saying, I can understand. Maybe this is Toei being lazy, concept-wise, and going "Here, take this, we're tired.". Hopefully the series after Ghost will have a more varied set. Or, or!! Maybe they plan on introducing other riders for Ghost that have better suits?

Well hes gonna have a few form changes so they arent really lazy. Just cheap.

And yeah this show is gonna have more Riders. Just by virtue of him showing up so early. They wont have a Rider appear in the first eight episodes and then be it the only one.

I doubt it. At least for a while. His first two new forms sound interesting. Nobunaga and Tutankhamun.

I agree, the belt is a complete let down but something tells me we will have more than 2 riders in this show rather soon.

I like the minimalist approach to the design of spectre, especially given how the different forms Ghost himself has shown so far has also been quite minimalist.

Would be cool to see even more riders as well in this one.

I think it makes sense for the Specter Damashii form to look so similar to the Ore Damashii, since the Specter Eyecon appears to just be an Ore Eyecon for Specter. They're probably the same thing, so similarities are to be expected.

I think it'll look even more different once we see the full suit, too. The patterns on his suit are different than on Ghost's, but we can't see that here. (except for the eye of course)

(Also we've seen Specter before, just off-color, so I'm not sure why people are surprised. And from what we've seen of Tutankhamen and Nobunaga, Specter's forms aren't going to be any less varied or interesting than Ghost's.)

I can see a Blade-Garren conflict between them.

I just hope they can add more riders. Maybe a "Chalice" & "Leangle".

For the "Chalice" part.... they BETTER add a female rider influenced by good historical women. Even an evil one whose influenced by evil historical figures.

I would absolutely love for there to be a female Rider in this series! A good form her to have would be Joan of Arc.

Specter really reminds me of Hibiki.


And I think the design is great personally. I'm one of those guys who likes it when Riders share identical design elements, like in Kabuto or Ryuki, so I don't mind him looking similar to Ghost. I think the fact that we're seeing Specter so early is a sure sign that we'll probably get a third and maybe even fourth Rider in the show, especially when you consider that even Drive had four Riders, and the secondary didn't show up until the teens.

I think Ghost should have 5 riders.

1. Ghost
2. Specter

For a third, they can add a "Ghostbuster" rider.

Fourth, a female.

Fifth, an evil rider influenced by evil historical figures like Genghis Khan, Napoleon, Attila the Hun, Rasputin, Ramses, Hitler, etc.

I'm with you. Shows like Ryuki and Gaim that share a lot of common elements between Riders are among my favorites.

Also, Drive's gonna have way more than 4 when you take the MP Machs into account. Add one more if you wanna count Ghost. But yeah, I'm definitely hoping for at least 4 riders.

I'll go a step further: a female Rider not in pink.

Heck, I just got my heart broken a little by re-watching the Decade Ryuki two-parter, in which Kamen Rider Femme never appears on-screen because she's murdered in the opening minutes.

...at least we got a truly horrible name for a female Rider out of the way.

I introduced a friend to Rider stuff recently. He almost immediately asked about female Riders. I felt terrible having to explain that despite all the other virtues of toku, the genre... hasn't historically done a great job representing empowered women.

Don't really get why this is a legitimate concern when there's only been ONE pink suited female Rider (who was arguably also one of the better ones), but okay.

I'm not sure why "not in Pink" would have to be specified. Although unfortunately female Riders, as you mention, have not been very common at all, what few we've gotten don't conform to the girl=pink thing--even the predecessor to the female Riders, Tackle, was red. Marika is really the first female pink Rider. (Though she's also the most recent, and the first one to have a significant presence in a Rider show, so who knows if that's indicative of potential future Riders...)


I agree that a female Rider in this show would be great. It would also be great if some of the historical figures for the Eyecons were female, and--and, if a potential female Rider didn't only get to use female historical figures, and if male Riders used the ghosts of women. That would be the best case scenario really, imo.

Eh, that's just my personal gripe: the pink rubbed me the wrong way. But I'm also impatient for a female Red in Sentai.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to October(?) so we can learn more about Specter. The design says "rival or villain" to me.

Isn't Specter's belt the Ghost Driver also? It'll probably be a recolor and different voice. I like that Specter looks like Ghost, it makes them more unified. Specter's colors are awesome and his helmet design is really cool.

Its gonna be the exact same Belt Ghost uses.

Why is it called the Specter Driver?

Its not. The Toy catalogue had no second Driver included and his Eyecon is included with his weapon. If his Driver differed a lot from Ghosts they would have released a seperate version.

Because it's not called the Specter Driver. The label on that catalogue page is "Ghost Driver (Specter ver.)"

Which as far as the gashapon toy goes probably just means it comes with the Specter eyecon stuff instead of the Ore eyecon stuff.

Not really sure where you got the idea that it had a different name.

He looks great, I love that electric blue. I like the similarity between his and Ghost's designs, makes them look like a cool team.

I could've sworn I saw Specter Driver, but that's what I thought, he uses the Ghost Driver.
