Your all time favorite Kamen Rider
 

As the title states, I'd like to know what everyones favorite Kamen Rider series has been. For me, I really like Drive so far and Mach is becoming my fan favorite. But before that it was Kamen Rider Kiva. I'm pretty excited for Ghost!

Was looking through some of the older topics and didnt see any topic that asked this question straight up.

My favorite Rider of all time will always be G3 from Kamen Rider Agito. I just love Hikawa as a character, he's just so likable. And the G3 armor is awesome from both a functional and aesthetic standpoint. Although, I will say that Zeronos is a close second.

I always show my strong love for Kamen Rider Chaser, or Zangetsu, but my all time favorite will forever be this hard-boiled person.

Skull, followed by Joker, then Gaim.

I have plenty of other favourites but those are my top three in order.

Kuuga, Joker, OOO, Zangetsu, and Mach.

Baron, Zeronos, OOO, Decade, and Drive

Blade, then OOO, then Chalice, then Double, then Birth.
Love those guys.

My favorite series is either Ryuki or Gaim--for different reasons and in different ways, so it's kind of hard to decide.

Favorite Rider character is probably Baron, followed closely by Zolda.
Favorite Rider design goes to Chalice.

I've always been a fan of Knight mainly for design, but also personality. Hibiki and Ibuki are all kinds of awesome. Blade is great. Kouta, Date, and Ryusei are also great, but I think I've still gotta give it to OOO himself as my overall favorite. I can't get enough of the form change system, motif, weapons, suit design, and Eiji is just a great character.

Overall favorite Rider is Double. I can Identify a lot with both Shotaro and Philip for various reasons.

My favorite Rider series is definitely Hibiki. It may be one of the shortest at only 29 episodes, but it's so full of great characters and cinematography that it more than makes up for getting cancelled early.

Favorite Rider character is much harder to narrow down and tends to fluctuate a lot. At the moment I'm still a big fan of Haruto from Kamen Rider Wizard.

This is a hard question. It depends on the day, lately it's been Faiz, OOO, Chaser and Chalice although I have others.

No, he's right. Hibiki has only 29 episodes, and 19 22 minute wastes of our God damn time.

The series got completely jacked up about 30 eps in, losing most of it's identity and continuity.

Hibiki ran for 29 episodes and was then cancelled and replaced with the same actors doing some leftover Faiz scripts.

Also, I'm adding Accel as a #4 spot. He was a cool character, an excellent design, and had, like, the most badass and appropriate secondary rider upgrade ever.

Kamen Rider Baron, Blade King Form, Wizard Infinity

I actually never really got that much into Kamen Rider until last year and I have to say that I am really glad I got into it.

The first time I watched it was back in the late 80s and thought that the scarf and bike made him look really badass.

Stumbling upon Kiva was both a pleasure for myself and guilty pleasure in front of my friends.

I have two many riders I like so some of my favourites are Ryuki, Fourze, Meteor, Double and G3, also because I am far too forgetful sometimes Zangetsu.

Birth is my favorite, with OOO and W filling in my second and third slots. Gaim however has the best driver in my opinion though, and some of the best forms. I do also like Wizard's All Dragon form over Infinity.

Double/W. He was my first, and for a modern Rider he was very clear about what a Kamen Rider is meant to act like. I've approached each season with his outlook.

Wizard, Bravo, and Zangetsu. Regular Zangetsu, not Shin.

My favourite rider has to be Takatora Kureshima. Always striving to do what he can to save the most people, yet crippled by the rules of reality, plus a bunch of douchebag co-workers. And when he learns there's a better way, he takes it. Doesn't help that his design is beautiful (in both rider forms). Chase/Chaser comes a close second, for being badass and having some of the only storyline during the first half of Drive.

And design wise it goes to Alternative-Zero :p Sasword, Femme, and Wizard are all up there too, if you want actual 'official' riders

Kazuma Kenzaki aka Kamen Rider Blade. The husbando. The one and only.

Seriously though, he is still the Rider that impressed me the most. When I first watched Blade, I actually didn't find him that remarkeable in the first episodes. He sure grew on me personality-wise, but that was about it. Until that one fateful episode aka episode 36. Avoiding spoilers here, but what I can say that Kenzaki's strong wish to protect people and the fact that he was ready to even sacrifice himself for saving just a single person really left an impact. Not to mention the heart-breaking decision he made at the end of the show.

Also... About Blade himself: Suit porn level max.

Runner-up is Gou Shijima/ Kamen Rider Mach.

Tbh, I found him pretty annoying at first, but I really loved the direction his character development took. The more aggressive and serious he became, the more I liked him. I guess that's mostly thanks to Inaba Yu's incredible acting skills. What I also love about Gou is that he might be a secondary rider, but he never steps back just so that Drive can be cool. He actually questions Shinnosuke's main character privileges and does a whole lot of stuff that make him (almost?) more interesting than our titular hero himself.

As for Mach: This is the proof that learning to love a character can also mean learning to love a suit. I didn't like the Mach suit at first but these days, I find myself liking it quite a lot. It's not my favorite, but it is pretty cool.

That being said: The series ranking is in the same order. Blade is my favorite, Drive is second. Third is OOO btw.

I would say personally say Godai Yusuke as Kuuga, the guy that everyone looked up to, and Kuuga being an only rider show makes Kuuga itself worth more because there isn't a second rider to save them if Kuuga dies.

My close runner up would have to be Tendou Souji/Kabuto because of his character, arrogant but brilliant, Tendou will always find a way...

Right now Todoroki comes to mind.

Couldn't agree more. I came in here wondering for a few seconds who to say, and I thought of Blade just before I started reading your post. I'm one to struggle with favorites; Do I base it on character? Coolness factor? How well s/he fulfills the point of the character? Does this one thing s/he did measure up overall to something else? But the finale of Blade really solidifies what a great hero he is.
What he did there is kind of ridiculous in how quickly and unhesitantly he did it, but it's just so well written and in-character for him that I find it one of the most emotionally powerful story arcs in Rider (I've seen Decade, everything post-Decade, Kuuga, and Blade).

Plus I like the actual Rider. I like the simplicity without being too simple (i.e. Kuuga and Agito), and he probably has my favorite final form design. And debut.

Kamen Rider Knight since he did his own thing and had a noble goal of saving his true love. Very disciplined too, no room for doubts, just pressed forward no matter the obstacle.

Second would be Kamen Rider 2 from The First/Next. Ichimonji had a similar trait of pressing forward no matter the obstacle, enjoying the finer things in life and living it, even though he knew his time was up soon. What a way to go out. That guy was bad ass. What other rider jump kicks the side of a moving truck and places his helmet on the road as a way of saying good bye?

BAD.

ASS.

Kamen Rider Baron the man is perfect he does not back down from no one. He has three cool forms Banana, Mango, and Lemon plus the suit has red in it a color I like. Last he turns into an Overlord Epic way to become a rider and turn into a villain and mop the floor with duke love every moment of it. Baron is one of the coolest riders ever in Kamen Rider Gaim.
