So, just watched the episode.....I like Ivan. Still hate Phillip. He better have one hell of a redemption coming up for him to be the Graphite.

This was a great episode. Dino Charge is half way done and we have 11 more episodes left until Dino Supercharge. Ivan seems cool and I can't wait to see some more of the Gold Ranger. Prince Philip was a real jerk at the beginning and I instantly hated him, but after he entrusted the Gold Energem to Ivan, I changed my view on him and think he's pretty cool now.

In my opinion this was one of the better episodes,but I don't know how long I can tolerate Ivan's accent.

Weird episode with good and slow points. The child Ivan was a jerk and a half, and his descendant wasn't much better. Fury's comment about "...their own funerals" did surprise as it seemed a touch serious for a kids' show. Did anyone else notice that the flashback showed Fury with Dogold's boa? It also seems odd that Fury failed to realize that the Energem would free Ivan. Also, why capture him in the first place? The battle contained a lot of switches between footage and the final attack against the remaining Spikeball Guard contained the "Zandar Thunder" from Kyoryuger. The Prince did lighten up, though you would think that guards for a Prince would freak out more when they arrive to finally fetch him, but that's a nitpick.

P.S.: Poisandra and Curio have lines that make me think. After being electrocuted, Poisandra says that her brain is fried, and Curio remarks: "Luckily, I don't have one." Apparently, the Deboss hordes were based-off "The Wizard of Oz", with Curio's counterpart referencing the scarecrow. Does this line hint that Lynn can recognize Kyoryuger's mentality?

...Dogold is the lion, and Aigaron is the Tin Man I totally see it now.

And Candelira is Dorothy.

So Sledge must be Toto then!

...Right?

He could also be the Wicked Witch of the West, due to his green skin even though he's male.

I really liked his debut, the best part for me is when he did "ZANDAR THUNDER!!" Since that's a straight Sentai footage they didn't had to edit that out since he's a knight of Zandar.

Do you guys think Prince Philip's gray suit was hinting at him becoming the Graphite Ranger or was it just a coincidence?

Well, I like to think it was just because he's a Prince out on official business, hence the suit. But that's my opinion.

I loved the episode. Ivan and Prince Phillip I thoroughly enjoyed. I can't wait to see how both of them develop more. Koda was also pretty cool this episode too.

Oh...That is why they named the country Zandar. Well well well...nice move Lynn...well played.

And Dino Charge has its first major failing.

The American Gold Ranger costume is AWFUL. It's not even close to the right coloring...

I think is more the fault of the camera used. The footages have clear coloring differences, among other things. So it's probably right about the color it should be, but the camera used makes it look way off. Same with how blue always looks brighter, despite probably being the same suit.

I would say Endorph probably fits that bill a bit better.

I agree, it looked really beige.

Ugh, went to watch this episode this morning and I don't have any recording for it. So I checked my DVR settings... New episodes only, right channel, set for airing at any time... None scheduled. They just aren't listed as new it seems.

Anyone successfully DVR this episode (without manually setting it for this specific one)?

Guess I'll have to watch it online then.

Pretty good episode. Only real complaint I have is that they used the Fury suit with the Fur Collar again. I really hope we will get an explanation for why it keeps changing all the time.
