DX Christmas EyeCon Revealed
 

Seems like there's two options to get this one:

Either buy the big set which includes a DX Ghost Driver, or you can get it on it's own, either way you'll be getting a cake, a topper, and a goodie bag along with it.


On it's own it'll cost 4,104, with the Ghost Driver it'll cost 13,190 yen, released on December.

Yeah the Christams Cake is a tradition in japan so its easy for bandai to cash in on it :lol

I feel that more things need to come with cake, including premium bandai.

I wonder how I can get this though, as I'm sure a Japanese cake isn't going to pass through customs.

You can still get the eyecon and cake topper.

It just means a middleman will have a lot of cake left over

Ah I see. Didn’t know it was a tradition in Japan to eat a cake on Christmas, which explains it.

I'm pretty sure no middleman will offer those because shipping food internationally is not a good idea, but I’ll bet the goodie bag with the Eyecon will appear on Mandarake and Jungle after Christmas.

The middle man can enjoy the cake, just give me that Eyecon! Lol.

I really love the look of the Santa Eyecon. Really need that thing. Hopefully aftermarket prices aren't terrible.

In case anyone cares, the cake has strawberry cream, white chocolate, dry strawberries, and something in kanji I can't read (looks like some sort of gummy candy or something).

Never imagined that one day I would be translating a Christmas cake schematic, but here we are.

Unless this appears in a Christmas special, it's not worth spending my money on.

I hope it doesn't appear at all so that I don't have to worry about it, honestly.

Kinda hope that the extra eyecons remove the "dead person" requirement of the eyecons because this is giving off a strange message to kids otherwise.

It is definitely a cute novelty though.

I'm still not sure the birth of an Eyecon necessarily requires the associated person to be dead. As I understand it, they are created via an object with strong significance to the great person. Perhaps Santa Claus is such an IMPOSSIBLY great man that an Eyecon could manifest from one of his possessions before his death. Or maybe the same is true simply because he's immortal.

Still unclear if form changes actually possess Takeru, though. If so, that could cause complications. I'd guess we'll find out by episode 2 if not the premier.

If Santa Claus can go into an Underworld then I'm sure he can have his own Eyecon despite being, Y'know, not dead.

I will admit I want to try that cake but seeing as customs has rendered any and all cakes unshippible perhaps someone could try to figure out the recipe to this?
