Power Rangers Super Samurai promo image
1 Attachment(s)
Hector David Jr., who plays Mike, the green samurai ranger on Power Rangers Samurai, has recently posted a promotional image for the second season of the show, titled Power Rangers Super Samurai, on his facebook page.
As you can see, the image includes the red ranger in super mega mode, alongside the other five rangers in standard mega mode. In the background is not only the Samurai megazord, but also new villain Serrator, better known as Akumaro to fans of Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. Power Rangers Super Samurai is due to air later this year. |
That is just f'n epic o_o
Bout time Rangers get some respect, almost feels like the old days again.
Im actualy, generaly excited about this.:)
Looking forward for this!! :D

We shall see, I do find it hilarious that Samurai has gotten such a luke warm reception (amongst older fans at least) and is getting a second season. while the production crew BEGGED disney for a second season BECAUSE it was being so well received and got shot down.
I love how there using shark mega mode red instead of super mega mode red
That actually looks pretty cool. Let's hope this season ends up being better than the last.
I'm still not fond of the Mega Modes (especially the Super Mega Mode) but it's a pretty nice poster.
This continuation is showing promise. Hopefully the critical reception of last year's season and the long hiatus they've had would help them craft a more polished, quality product this year. As I've said before, the last few episodes and crossover movie, though imperfect, have shown that they're gradually moving away from simply carbon copying Shinkenger. Let's hope they keep it up.

so its not just mega, its super and mega? call me when its got a 3 or for more adjectives declaring how powerful it is lol.
Guys, could my name NOT be on this? i wasn't asked and i don't want credit for something i never intended to be a news item.
Guys, You do realize the poster is inconsistent right?
He's wearing the shark attack armor yet holding the super mode sword. Am I the only one who noticed that? |

We always try to credit the source of our news when we put it on the frontpage. You may not have intended for it to be news, but to a majority of Tokusatsu fans, this is the first time this image has been seen, and thus it was put on the frontpage. You were creditted because you were the one who brought it to the forum's attention - it was not meant as anything more than a "Thanks to MetalSy for the heads up" ... not a slight, an insult, or anything even remotely similar to that. I apologize if you took offense. |

While I admit the first season has been shaky at best, I've still enjoyed it as much as I did the original when it first started... That said, I hope this new season begins to take off like season 2 of MMPR did!

I'm kind of miffed that they would just take the second half of the Shinkenger footage and call it season 2 of Samurai. Kinda lazy if you ask me.
WOW, I love it! This promo image has me even more excited for Super Samurai!

Imagine if every show got its timeslot changed to the same time, but a day earlier, or took a long break, presumably just so Nick could advertise that "this month, there's a new episode of Power Rangers every week." Gee, is that right? Because I feel a show should be able to air at a steady pace for a month without it being a @#^&# occasion. |
I hope that since they are using "Shark" Mode in the promo image, maybe we can get a bit more of it; although I doubt they'd create new footage for it.
