Seeing Overlord Baron one year after he was revealed at this event with a release date and a price-tag makes me unbelievably happy.

And SIC Gaim looks so awesome, I need one.

So far the only stuff that really hit me hard, I hope we see more Ultraman-stuff soon (Come on X!) and of course Ghost and Spectre.

Also some Sentai-stuff while we're at it, Sentai deserves some love too! I would love to see DekaMaster in particular.

And MonsterArts... please, only one new mold, no friggin' statues!

Lord Baron is finally happening? YES!!

About time we see Type Tridoron, although I am afraid my interest has waned some. Brain is a really cool surprise.

A renewal Diend is pretty cool to see too. Might as well pick him up too since I'm getting Decade heh.

S.H. Figuarts Ultraman figures is definitely the biggest shock of the event, that's for sure.

I think that's the OG ultraman from ultraman manga. The one from the flashback.

It's still specifically an Ultraman FIGUART though. The card doesn't list it as SHF X UA like the manga Ultraman was.

Plus I've read rumours that some of the other Ultra Brothers there, though I don't know how true that is.

All the Drive, alll the Winspector, and on a related non-toku note ALL THE DBZ. This is such a good show this year.

This is only Day 1?! What's going to happen tomorrow? I wasn't expecting Baron Ringo Arms at all. What about Zangetsu Watermelon Arms? It would be easy to make since it's just a repaint. Most of the Drive figures are repaints with parts of other figuarts on them like Gold Drive and Chaser Mach. Gatack and Diend have been the only secondary riders getting the premium treatment. I honestly thought the SIC line was over, but Drive AND Gaim!!! They both look incredible.

I need pictures of these so badly *o*.

Very much digging the Gaim SIC. Nice to see Ringo Arms as well get the SHF treatment, so hopefully Proto-Melon Arms isn't too far of a stretch. Everything else though I really don't care about because we've seen it already (Winspector and Proto-Drive), or I just don't see as must have. SHF Ultra would be cool, but it looks to be display only. So meh.

SIC Gaim looks AMAZING

I like we're getting an Overlord Baron and a new DiEnd. But SiC Gaim and Drive? Did anyone ask why the hell they keep skipping Fourze? That Rider begs for an SIC design and he just keeps getting skipped.

Can't wait for Lord Baron. BTW was the Kiwami Arms figuarts just a display of the regular one or is it a reissue? Just odd in that it's their on display with the new ones.

It's definitely not a new sculpt, I can see that much. Maybe a reissue, but I can't spot any release date or price on that info card.

So I guess they did just throw it in for good measure, as a rival for Lord Baron if you will. Maybe they had the spot for another figure but switched it out on short notice?

I'll take DiEnd, Gatack, and Duke.

You all may fight over the rest.

Okay, so Shinkocchou Seihou secondary Riders are now a thing. One the one hand, I'm delighted because I don't yet have Diend or Gattack. On the other hand, the fires of Literally Everything Before Kiva have just been fanned in a way I'd never have expected.

I'm delighted by Baron Ringo Arms, since I'd kinda wanted a Ringo Arms Rider, but I have no interest in Mars or Kamurro. Gold Drive might well be my final Drive purchase, since I never really cared for the designs on Heart and Brain, but I wouldn't mind a villain.

I want to write of Duke Dragonfruit energy, but... Okay, I really, *really* like fruit arms on Riders, which is why I'm not all that interested in Dongui, Knuckle, and Kurokage. But... new fruit-themed arms... I kinda might want to own this. Hmf. HMF.

Some really great stuff so far! I'm most excited for Lord Baron for sure, and I'm definitely interested in Gold Drive. It's also great to see SS secondary Riders starting to appear. I like Gattack and the Extenders, but Diend will be the first SS I skip because I just don't really like his design.

This event is off to a great start!

But seriously guys, I know Den-O did address this only recently but the whole "Everything before Kiva"-shtick is getting really annoying lately. Like, they announce one thing that seems odd to some people and we have another page of "Everything before Kiva" and "Bandai keeps trolling us".

I do realize that some people want this as much as I want my favorites and I can relate to that, but the whole routine has become such a crazy meme by now which get’s repeated over and over again. It’s simply annoying to keep running into these posts all the time because they are everywhere.

It’s sad but at this point I mostly look forward to SHF Kiva just so I don’t have to read any "Everything before Kiva"-comments ever again.

And no, secondary Riders before Kiva are not surprising at all, because they can reuse parts from Kabuto and Decade to do those and make some more money out of a mold before doing new ones.

That doesn't make it any less annoying. And we've had Ixa. Both forms.

Ixa and Rising Ixa were released long ago, I assume alongside Emperor and Dark Kiva. They're pretty good figures. They have better ankles than Emperor/Dark Kiva, anyway.

Those displays are damn beautiful, hopefully we'll get a closer look at Gatack soon. I just noticed they have that worm/bug wing effect to simulate the opening and closing credits. Pretty dope!

I was kind of confused about was new with that Ultraman 'till I realized they're utilizing 2.0 body again. As nice as the pull out ball-thigh joint is, aesthetically, the standard balljoint looks even better to me. Or at least the way they covered up that pelvic area like how it is on Awakening Goku.

Now I'm just debating if I should take the 2.0 Hayata off my wishlist now seeing as this new one has no release date yet.

Wish the hips were better though. Really like the ball joint on newer Figuarts.
