Specter's tactics have thoroughly defeated Takeru, and he no longer has the will to fight. Can he recover before his time runs out?!

This episode felt a little all over the place, but...Ghost, so that goes without saying.

The trend of wasteful form changes continues as well, because holy shit man...I didn't catch all the dialogue in that scene, but if this is gonna be the only time Makoto uses Edison I'm gonna be so pissed off.

Also they didn't even use Beethoven for the finisher wth even.

Just...eh.

Preview for next week looks rather spoilerific though.

Quick question, if we were to adapt another Kamen Rider show, would Ghost be handled better here?

How long are they going with the "Takeru cannot do s*it against Spectre"? The encounters are too one sided to the "secondary rider"'s favour.

Until Boost, I'd guess. So I'd say give it 4 or 5 episodes, at most.

Takeru seriously needs to man up. My guess to what the "next step" is, as the Sage said, is maybe Boost. We finally saw Specter Edison Damashii and Makoto's sister's eyecon. I cant wait to hear more about that. It's a shame Beethoven Damashii was only used for a minute and them he went to Musashi.

They could've gone the Kouta/Kaito route with this and they don't and that pisses me off, not because I like the rivalry, but because there's so much potential here and there's fuck all done with it.

Give it time, this is only Spectre's third episode. I'm sure we'll get more interaction between him and Takeru that isn't just lopsided fight scenes.

I liked this episode. The MotW plot was pretty generic, but there was some cool character work with Takeru. I like the scenes with him and Akari; the two characters really mesh well together.

Yeah, the one-sided battles between Ghost and Spectre are starting to get on my nerves, too. At least Beethoven was fun, with what little screen time we got of it. Still, I do hope that Takeru will start getting some proper character growth, and this episode did give me hope for that.

On that note, Makoto having a sister and a past with Akari, eh? The plot thickens.

I'm giving it until the part where they stop going all full throttle with the toys, it's affecting the action to the point where it's the boring part of the episode. I'll give you the character stuff, but it's all basic, with the exception of Alan and Makoto's stuff.

Makoto has a connection not only to Alan but also Akari and apparently maybe even Takeru? So many questions. Looks like a lot of answers are forthcoming in the next couple of episodes, which...seems early, but better sooner than later I guess?

Decent episode. I like that they took a little bit of time with MOTW-stuff but get into the story again before it gets boring.

The Ganma and Gramps this episode was hilarious :lol

I really liked this episode. The stuff with Takeru was great and it tied in nicely with the MOTW story. While it looks cool, I think Beethoven's powers are kinda dumb. And thanks to the preview for episode 7, it is pretty much clear as day what Spectre's backstory is and why he's doing this.

Overall a very nice episode.

Soooo....it appears that Akari and Makoto are linked in a Den-O type of twist where apparently she remembers nothing.

And Takeru got his mojo jojo back. By obtaining the American Idol Eyecon. I know our hero just turned 18, but seriously, if the entire series is about him growing up, I'm going to need something more to keep me going. As it stands, he's just learning fifth grade history. Also, it's taken him a month and a half to learn that.

How does Makoto and his sister knows about Akari but Akari doesn't know them?

Could Makoto be Akari's forgotten friend?

This is foreshadowing of what could been the twist around Akari.

We know Akari doesn't believe in paranormal but what if it was excuse for her dark and troubled past that Takeru doesn't know about but it have to do with Makoto.

This is my theory.

Which, as usual, sounds kind of stupid. Not everything needs to be dark and troubled.

I know that but her excuse of not believing in Paranormal make me think that she hiding something that we and Takeru don't know about it.

I think she know about Makoto but she act like she doesn't know about him

I enjoyed this episode a lot. I think this was fantastic for Akari who keeps getting better and better. I can relate more and more with Takeru and having anxiety and fear keeping you down because I suffer from the same things and it can be tough to bounce back from but I am glad he was able to and found his resolve again. I am glad that we saw a lot more about Spectre that just him attacking Ghost for no reason, that he was friend's with Akari is interesting and that I think he's growing a soft spot for Takeru is good too. I like both of the riders so far which is awesome. I definitely feel that they toned down Akari and Onari for the better this episode rather than being over the top like they were, now they are calmer and better characters that I hope keep going through out the series. The Beethoven Damashii looks amazing and I love how it fights, I can't wait to see more of it. Well I can't wait for more.
