I'm honestly curious to see if the show will be "rock my socks off" amazing while everything (the suits, the mecha) are horrible but otherwise not really... '^^

I am. Ninninger is the first show I've followed, and it was nice being actually caught up with the current series, so it's part that, part excited for something new, and part morbid curiosity to see how these mech designs actually work.

I'll give it a shot. but people saying they are sold aren't making me feel excited. the blocky mecha looks terrible despite having a cool idea of being blocks that transform. Also I don't care if you say we haven't seen the suit only the toy ninninger's main mecha looks like the suit so I don't think that is a fair pick. but what do I know? It could be one of the best around.

Puns aside, I don't think I'll be invested, and I'm not looking forward to this series. It already looks block-headed.

I've learned from ToQger and Ninninger, you can't judge the Sentai by how everything looks. It needs to be taken within context and we are not in any position to really cast judgements right now.

I mean, I'm gonna be looking forward to EVERY new Sentai show. Of course I am, Sentai is my number one jam. But am I looking forward to Juuouger any more or less than usual? Uh... Not yet.

Get back to me when we have a list of the creative staff (head writer, producer, director) and CLEAR images of... well... anything. Then I'll let you know if I'm looking forward to it.

I really don't know how people don't have an opinion on this show yet. The leaked pictures are enough to to have an expectation to the show.

I personally hate the look of a lot of it. I'm certainly not excited for it, since it looks so stupid. Hell the past few years of sentai have been so boring for the most part, that it's hard to give a **** anymore about it.

For me, it's a two part thing. Part one is costumes and aesthetics. Part two is the actual story/plot. Part one kind of 50/50. Part is on hold until the show actually airs. Remember that old saying "Never judge a book bye it's cover."

Like somebody else said, ToQger looked kind of stupid but ended up getting good reviews, while Ninninger's designs are awesome but the reception has been kind of meh.

I'm excited for one reason: it's different. Probably won't be Go-Busters different, but maybe it'll shake things up a bit.

I may watch the first episode, but after the last few years I've come to accept that Super Sentai just ain't for me.

Um... there is more to a show than what it looks like, man. I'm not much of a toy collector, so the blurry catalog images do little to sway me one way or the other.

The new, clear images that were released earlier today have done a lot to amp up my excitement levels. There's gonna be some cool gimmickry with multiple-animal form changes for the heroes, and that is NEW, and new is exciting to me.

I think we can also get a hint from the new images that 8-bit video games will likely be a part of the story (I'm mean, look at Cube Kirin, it's literally a Mario block with an exclamation point printed on it). It's potential story details like that which get me excited, not what the mechs or costumes look like. (Though for what it's worth, I think the mechs and costumes look cool.)

I am interested in how the rangers will be and what the villains will be like

I love the suit designs, but I'm not a fan of the cube thing. It'll probably grow on me. I'm still excited to see how it turns out.

It doesn't matter though. What we see is what's in the show and it looks like shit. I wouldn't be able to see these things in action, I'd practically feel embaresed. Like how the hell does Sentai go from being really good to just sucking ass in 3-5 years? I've felt the same during most of ToQger and Ninninger. It's just a huge dissapointment, like how does the demographic they try to reach for feel like it keep on getting younger at an exponential rate.

Sure it matters. Designs don't actually tell you anything about the story, tone, action or anything like that. You learn some things about its motifs and you can infer some things from it, but they tell a pretty incomplete picture. Who the heck could predict how Gaim would turn out from seeing some pictures of samurais wearing fruit armor? (Not the same franchise, same principle though). Designs don't make a series. Good designs are always nice, but they're unlikely to be the things that make or break something. We don't even have a premise for this show, so to just write it off completely at this point is pretty brash imo.

If it sucks at least I got the option of not having to watch it so I will gve it a go.
We had samba dinos, Tom Hanks as a sentai team, and a ninja sentai that kicked stealth to the curb so I'm game for anything at this point.

For Jyuuouger, I hope they continue to bring back past Sentai Rangers as guests for episodes just like Gokaiger did back in 2011

Or like Ninninger has been doing with bringing back past ninjas. Maybe characters from Gaoranger, Gekiranger, and whatever other animal-based ones I may be forgetting are out there.

Sunvulcan(the first animal motif sentai) and Liveman for sure, and maybe Gingaman and Go-busters.

True. But considering Nishimura who plays Tenkuuji Ryu in Ghost is back on the Toku scene would love to see him return and transform into Yellow Lion again since his previous return as Joe was in civilian form in Gokaiger.

The costumes look awesome, i'm gonna give it a shot.

I love those suits, but the weapons and zords will take some warming up.

Another reason why I'm excited about those show - those suits will make an easy cosplay. I just have to draw the animal designs on spandex and then ink over them with a Sharpie/fabric paint. Shouldn't be too hard, and the helmets look pretty simple as well.

Funnily enough, I was more excited for Ninninger than I am for Jyuohger. Which is ironic considering how much I loved Toqger and how relatively unimpressed I was by the reveals about Ninnin.
The designs are interesting so far and I wonder what cast and staff members we will get, but right now I'm perfectly fine with about a month more of Ninninger. I'm curious for what's next, but not hyped.

I'm warming up to the designs but I won't be "excited" until we have a competent crew attached to this.

Ah don't say that. I've really grown attached to most of the characters and am gonna be sad to see them go.

How many males and females are in jyuohger?

After seeing the cast and hearing about what the show will be like roughly, I am liking what I am seeing so far.
Minecraft Megazord doesn't bother me as much anymore after seeing the live action still.

Overall, very happy with the casts and I would like to congratulate them for achieving roles for this series

Still doubtful of this series, but hoping there's some sort of silver lining ... but seeing things I hate the most (anything in a stuffed animal costume a la Dekaranger and Gekiranger) is quickly making me doubt things.

I don't think I like that they're actually anthropomorphic animals that take on a human form, and the teaser made it seem like that's the form they'll take most often. Not sure how excited I am anymore. Still, it's interesting that they're trying some new ideas here.
