Zyuohger Cast, Crew & Story Details Revealed!
 

Zyuland, a world parallel to ours, is attacked by aliens, the Deathgalian. Four of its inhabitants (called Zyuman), Sera, Leo, Tusk and Amu call for help a young man from our world, Yamato. After taking human form, they all five form the Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger!

Red Ranger is Yamato; the other four are Blue, Yellow, Green and White respectively.


Head Writer - Junko Komura (secondary writer for Goseiger, Gokaiger, Akibarager, KR Wizard, KR Drive, and co-writer for Indonesian toku Satria Garuda Bima-X)

Producer - Takaaki Utsunomiya (head producer for Shinkenger, Gokaiger, KR Wizard, and ToQger)

Director - Shiba Takayuki, has worked on episodes of Kamen Rider OOO, Gaim, Drive, Kyoryuger and Go-Busters.

Action Director - Fukuzawa Hirofumi (main red suit actor from Gaoranger-Gokaiger sans Magiranger and Goseiger and action director since Go-Buster)

So the other four have nonhuman forms? Cool!! Wonder if we'll get to see them.

So most of our new Rangers are extradimential beings and aren't human to begin with? Cool beans; I'm hoping we'll see more of their true forms down the road and not just at the beginning and tail end of the show.

According to Oricon:

Zyuohgers have special abilities based on their motifs:
- Zyuoh Eagle can fly
- Zyuoh Lion and Tiger can use their sharp claws to attack
- Zyuoh Elephant can stun his enemies by stomping the ground
- Zyuoh Shark can use her fins to swim freely

The enemy for the year is going to be a group of space outlaws called Deathgarians(The gari part is most likely from the word kari/gari which means "hunt" in Japanese).

Yamato's full name is Kazakiri Yamato(風切 大和)

Nakao Masaki who plays Yamato/Zyuoh Eagle is from Watanabe entertainment, the agency that is home to many tokusatsu alumni such as Nakamura Yuichi(Kamen Rider Zeronos), Suzuki Hiroki(Geki Red), Yamada Yuuki(Gokai Blue), Shison Jun(ToQ 1), etc.

Tateishi Haruka Who plays Amu/Zyuoh Tiger is a former model who retired a while back and has returned to showbiz with Zyuohger

Nanba Shohei who plays Leo/Zyuoh Lion debuted with Kamen Rider W and you can see him in episode 49 as Endo(one of the thugs who says that they will succeed Museum)

Yanagi Miki who plays Sera/Zyuoh Shark is a model.

Watanabe Tsurugi who plays Tusk/Zyuoh Elephant is an actor of Watanabe entertainment as well.

Terajima Susumu who plays Yamato's uncle Mori Mario, an animal sculptor, has been in Ultraman Gaia episode 29 and has also been in Ultra Q Dark Fantasy

Everything about this show is totally up my ally hearing that the main guys behind OOO, Gobusters, and Gokaiger are behind this show makes me even more hopeful.

Don't screw this up guys...

Also, if I don't see any crazy cat antics from White all the while trying to fit in with humans, I will be very disappoint.

Sounds like the plot is taken right out of Abaranger, but with one Earthling ranger instead of the other world version only having one ranger.

Honestly, none of this sounds promising at all to me. The head writer and director have done some of the worst series in those franchises

That makes me idiotically happy.

Anyone else excited for Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger?

Well I totally love this everything I'm hearing about this show. I love that they have animal forms.

Cursory analysis:

- ZyuEagle looks like a Gatchaman/Jetman parody.

- The logo looks reminiscent of Liveman.

- The Robo looks like something out of Minecraft. If the chance for a P.R. adaptation comes up, this thing worries me.

- The villains, which don't seem to have impressive/creative origins, have a name that would have fit an '80s Sentai. If they attack a land of animal-like beings, then what would be the reason to attack humans. "Most Dangerous Game" type villains?

- The ability to change animal themes with the suits is a unique take indeed. Playing around with how many suit forms a team can go through has become steadily more prominent since Gokaiger.

I like the look of white in both human and furry form. When I saw yellow I tbought "Leomon?" Then went strait to " oh god no not again he cant die again"

Let's not forget, Gao Yellow had wings too. :)

So, lemme get this straight, we have the Zoo-gers, and the enemies are 'Death-Hunters'. Well, it's looking better at least.

He might of done those 2,though in my honest opinion ToQger has more character than Wizard, He also did Gokaiger and Shinkenger. And I am getting vibes of Gokaiger from this so I have hope.
