This promo is utterly, utterly amazing.

Hey, color me curious.
Still hate their mecha, but the characters do look fun, at least.

They don't seem that totally ok with it, actually. One of the funniest parts is that everyone around them is just staring. It's great.

Hurry up and air already! I loved the shot of the mecha, it looks beautiful on screen. And I love the suit designs for their natural animal forms. God I want this series to air already. Soon Sera, Soon!

Yes, Geki did it, but Geki's fursuits weren't the main heroes.

Over all, I'm intrigued.

Aaaannnd my hype died a bit with that teaser.

We're talking about a world that gets attacked by monsters and alien robots on every other Thursday, they're all just use to it. :lol

I can tell this is going to be a goofy Sentai. I can't wait.

I'm surprised how many people are getting excited that it's silly when every Sentai past Go-Busters has been goofy.

I just like how they've incorporated furry suits as the actual rangers. Instead of as the mentors/teachers. I'm looking at you Deka/GekiRanger.

So...am I still crazy for thinking that the animal suits are going to be used a ton? I guess this promo made me a bit more open to the idea of that though, but I still wouldn't consider myself a fan of it.

At least the mecha looks better than I expected. Still weird though. I wonder what the context of the blockiness will be?

I'm still standing by what I said earlier, and I still believe that the animal suits will basically disappear (Outside of minor appearances at "Headquarters") between the 5-10 episode mark.
If I'm wrong, then so be it.
And to be honest, I do hope I'm wrong, since I like the idea of having them as animals for most of their appearances.

At the very least, it'd be an interesting change of pace.

I feel the usual post-Go-Busters vibe from this, so I guess I'm gonna like it. The humor also works pretty well with me. Yes, I think I'm looking forward to this. Also, Lion might be my favorite so far. Though Tiger is a cutie too.

This is very unique Sentai for me because they have 4 MAIN Sentai Ranger are talking animals!

I think Yamato will be very different than Daigo, Right or Takaharu because he have to be responsible for 4 Zyumans! Making sure they won't get into a big trouble

I like to think Yamato as Chris Pratt from Jurassic World of Super Sentai because both mens take very good care for animals

Red Ranger- The Babysitter of Zyumans

Blue Ranger- The Big Sister

Yellow Ranger- Reckless and Fun Dude

Green Ranger- The Most Responsible Zyumans as he made comment about "Why More Clothes?"

White Ranger- Valley Girl?

Right, especially because OTT silliness is one of the main reasons people cite for disliking Kyoryuger, ToQger, and Ninninger. :lol

Given Komura's resume, I expect the series to be more varied in tone than the last three. Sure, there will be lighthearted frivolity and shenanigans, but I do expect there to be some heavier emotion as well. She is a Arakawa protege after all.

Perhaps the thing that interests me most is how Yamato has been portrayed so far. First, he's a scientist, which makes him smart -- something a red hasn't been since... Shinkenger? Maybe even before that? And second, he seems to be the "responsible" member of the group who herds (ha) his Zyuman companions.

The Zyuman suits are innovative, sure, but having a group of culture/time displaced heroes is not that unusual for modern Sentai. But a smart, responsible red? That's almost unheard of these days. I suspect Yamato will be a major part of what makes Zyuohger unique.

I have not been following Jyuuouger (it's spelled Zyuohger now, I guess?) news, so I had no idea that the other Rangers were anthropomorphized animals. The suits certainly look better than when Gekiranger did it, but the idea does nothing for me and the trailer looks like another "comedic" Sentai. I've always hated it when Sentai tries to be aggressively silly. May not even bother at this point.

I enjoyed the new Zyuohger promo, especially the funny moment where Leo got a Strike and made everyone jump with his roar

It could be like Monster Musume where people find out that humanoid animals exist along side humans.

Back on topic as Kickback requested, what did Red shout at the bowling alley? My guess is either "WTF TALKING ANIMAL PEOPLE?!?!?!" or "WTF ARE YOU GUYS DOING HERE THERE ARE MONSTERS ATTACKING THE CITY!!!!"

The latter, pretty much. He's saying "What are you doing!? The city is in trouble!" if I'm hearing him right.

I recognized the word trouble, so I assumed that was what he was saying. Makes sense, considering the context of him running up to the table and the animals reacting in surprise and urgency.

This series feels more like a comedy than a Sentai series.

Maybe it's me getting my hopes again, but I'm getting a serious Goseiger vibe from this whole series. ... And this pleases me.

Is there a way I can view all posts about this series without furry news? Cause it's gonna get real weird in old Toku town.

Also, only in Japan can you walk around in a fur suit and not get put down by animal control.
