The full power of Kamen Rider Necrom is realized- his Eyecon can take control of other Riders!

Pfffthahahaha Alain thinks takoyaki are Eyecons. Frickin great. And he...totally wasted Sanzo...and I guess Ganma don't age. Nice to see some actual backstory on the Fukamis at last. That Alain didn't befriend Makoto until apparently recently would explain why he didn't know much about about him or that his sister got turned into an Eyecon. I'm gonna guess Aria is behind that. She acted friendly so I don't trust her much. She's totally in charge of the human experiments.

The Himiko/Newton rivalry was pretty interesting. Nice way to reflect/play off off Akari and Onari's disagreements. Speaking of, they both were good this episode. Not really a fan of Onari but still, the show did good with them this episode.

And! Mixing up Himiko/Newton powers huh. Giving us a taste of what Grateful will be like, I suppose. Pretty neat. I'm guessing this counts as Newton's befriending episode though, so Takeru probably won't get to jump inside him and have a chat. Too bad.

...Also Knife Ganma Eyecon! With sounds and shit. Ten bucks say we're gonna see both a Premium Bandai Igor Lorder and show Ganma Eyecons. Sadly, it will cost more than 10 bucks. And probably have more sounds than the actual Mega Ulorder. We know we're getting Seiryuto and I'm guessing if it comes to exist it'll also work with the movie Eyecons. Somehow.

Good episode, anyways.

Necrom Sanzo Damashii is really cool. In my opinion, Necrom Sanazo Damashii is still the best rider form design in Kamen Rider Ghost.

It seems Igor's Black Mega Uloader is protoype version because not have eyedropper but still cool I think

- Raphael Ganma Eyecon
- Knife Ganma Eyecon (based from Jack The Ripper)

And next time Igor has Machine Gun Ganma Eyecon.

The Knife Ganma Eyecon music when this eyecon inserted to Igor's Black Mega Uloader has same music with Ghost Eyecon music in Necrom's Mega Uloader (except for Necrom, Grimm, and Sanzo because this 3 Eyecons has special henshin tune).

I wouldn't be surprised if Igor's Meda Uloader was a Premium Bandai, as the pin system that Necrom's uses is completely different from the one the Ghost Driver uses, so the Ganma Eyecon Design would work despite not having the proper bottom pin system the Ghost Driver uses.

Other than that, Sanzo's pretty cool looking, kinda meh debut. Or rather like Grimm and a few other Eyecon's, there was no proper build up to it, other than, "Ooh I wonder what this Eyecon will do?"

Hmm....agree It seems Bandai has plan to release Igor's Mega Uloader

I think we can see more villain henshin device in future of Kamen Rider series. And Bandai always release villain henshin device since Kamen Rider W (Dopant Memories).

Hmm..if Ghost use Himiko Ghost Eyecon (female Parka Ghost), maybe Igor can use Insect Ganma Eyecon (female Ganma)

Sanzo's debut is quite short and maybe in the next episode, Necrom will use Sanzo in longer time.

Eh. All of the ghosts are voiced by a single dude, so I'm strangely okay with it.

They're a series of shorts in which Ghost and Specter use Legend Rider Eyecons to transform into forms based on previous Riders. There's gonna be 6 total.

So Akari is a Female Newton and Onari is a Male Himiko? Make Sense

I guess Akari represent a Surrogate for someone who DOESN'T believe in SUPERNATURAL OR GHOST!!

Anyway, If Specter stay as Necrom for 4 or 5 episodes. Well Takeru need Eyecon Driver G to transform into Grateful Damashii to save his childhood friend from Alain

So Tomokazu Seki who is voicing All Ghost Eyecons trying to do a female impression for Himiko and at the same time trying to do a British accent in Japanese language for Newton. This man is one HARD-WORKING Voice Actor

'Course the silly part is they're trying to pass off Newton as super science man only concerned with cold hard facts when he was actually pretty religious, and never used his scientific findings to try to disprove spirituality or anything.

Ghost never actually studied history is what I'm saying.

I mean...they used Newton as a stand-in for Houdini in like episode 9. Maybe they still have them mixed up...

Yeah the Newton stuff was complete bullocks, but Japanese children won’t care.

Also, I'm still baffled how the Eyecons are now able to talk and have personalities of their own when in the first 10+ episodes they did absolutely nothing. I welcome the change but I think they should’ve cut the number of Eyecons down significantly but give each more time in the spotlight in return and make them actual characters.

But of course you sell less toys that way so it's not an option I guess.

@Topic: The episode was decent, nothing good though. The whole Specter being Necrom’s puppet thing seems to really go the way of taking 3-5 episodes until Takeru gains Grateful Soul, and I hate that. It’s so unnecessary. You can have the same pay off without taking Specter out of the game for so long.

Sanzo Damashii looks decent, but just like with every other Ghost Rider I feel like the base forms look the best and everything else is just meh. They certainly don’t mix as well as the Gaim Riders did. I mean they had some combinations that didn’t really work either too, but the alternate forms designed for each Rider looked a lot better than the Ghost stuff.

And the whole conflict between the Eyecons-thing was a neat idea, but it didn’t work at all for reasons stated in the quoted comment above.

Also, I'm pretty sure with 15 Eyecons already known you would have a lot more conflict between them, not only those two. Just saying.

I think you're making that assumption based on the lines that were drawn between the Akari, Onari, and the two Eyecons. The fact is, Newton himself only expressed a kind of a timid disbelief of something he did not understand, and Himiko only suggested that he did not agree with her own beliefs. Akari was the one who jumped to conclusions, claiming the reason behind Newton's reaction was that he was a man of science and hard facts, who couldn't handle Himiko's mysticism. I think she was misunderstood, and the more likely reason for his rejection of Himiko was because of exactly what you yourself stated: he was a religious man. He did not agree with Himiko's practices because of his own religious beliefs, not because he was exactly like Akari. In the end, his trial was to realize their differences in practice were irrelevant in the name of solving a problem.

Newton and Himiko make a funny combo. It's also pretty funny how they're being released together in a GC set.

@Kiwami: honestly I feel like the Necrom Specter deal is more about Alain himself and less about setting Takeru up for his upgrade. It could still be doing that, but it's looking like it's being set up to teach Alain the value of inidviduality/that controlling people is bad/the true meaning of friendship. Plus it's giving Kanon something to do so I'm not complaining. I guess it's all things you could do without Makoto getting hijacked for a handful of episodes, but I don't personally mind it.

@RollOut: You have a point. I considered that angle, but there's Himiko's line of "I believe in the potential of the human soul, which he does not agree with" (or something among those lines). Whatever Newton's religious beliefs, that doesn't sound like the thing that would drive a wedge between them. That line in particular seemed to paint the conflict in a science vs. spirituality light. Not to mention that Newton had some pretty eccentric beliefs himself, so I don't know if he would be so uncomfortable with Himiko anyway.

Not that I really know a ton about the subject, just what I gather from skimming Wikipedia.
