I really like this bit about Elizabeth Banks playing Rita:

“It’s very exciting that we got [Banks], and I think what she loves is the opportunity to really embrace the insanity and deliciousness of Rita Repulsa in terms of how weird and wonderful that character was, and really dive into and consume that character,” Israelite explained. “You should always be off-balance when you’re watching her. Is she insane? Is she totally calculated? Does she know what she’s doing? Elizabeth can toe that line really well.”

Looks fine I guess. Billy's jacket is...meh at most and honestly I couldn't tell if he was Billy. Hopes this ends up good.

I hope this doesn't mean they'll be like... weirdly organic or something like that.

It's very cool we now have a cast photo. I like it. Very up dated.

Is it bad that I'm disappointed that they aren't wearing their ranger colors? Other than that though they all look pretty good, can't wait to see the suits.

It looks like the colors are there, just muted and nowhere as glaringly obvious as the show was.

That is somthing i very much want to see the Suits. Oh & the zords & all so the toy line. But i'm thinking we have some time befor we see any of that.

Of course the colors are muted. Heaven forbid Hollywood would have bright colors in anything they made these days. The cast photo looks like it's advertising L.L. Bean than Power Rangers.

Yeah, that line was kind of concerning to me too. It made me think of the movie Green Lantern suit, and that is definitely not a good thing.

This is gonna be good.

I just took it as meaning that they are the suits. It's not just something someone can find and put on.

Well, now we know the faces of the new era of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

So who's gonna play Zordon? I hope it's Sir Patrick Stewart.

Looking at it again, yeah I can see some of them, they're just so dull that i couldn't tell what some of the colors were.

They look so... Boring. Like you can just put them into any generic teenaged drama and they'd fit right in. Hell, it looks like you can just pick up the Pink Ranger actress and put her on the set of Twilight and nobody would notice. And what's with all the gray they're wearing? Are they all the Gray Ranger? Heaven forbid we get bright colors in a superhero movie for once. God, my hope for a Power Rangers movie that isn't dark and edgy is quickly wearing out.

To be fair, any given Power Rangers team could look boring if they're forced to pose for a generic album cover.
We need to get more actiony poses.

As for their colors, yeah, I could use more variety.

Fair enough. Hope we get better pictures of them in action soon.

If this movie does well in a box office, We might get a sequel and will introduce the NEW version of Tommy Oliver

I feel they shouldn't introduced Tommy in this one because he will overshadowed other rangers. I felt the sequel will be a better introduction for Tommy Oliver. Sorry Jason David Frank but your character will NOT be in this one! LOL

At least New Power Rangers Movie isn't produced by Michael Bay! Thank God! Don't let him near on Power Rangers!

I think this movie won't be a critical acclaim one but can get a decent Box Office record

And plus, ADD MORE COLOR! I barely see color on 5 rangers!

I also hoped that they WON'T do a high-school stereotype on them especially Kimberly! This is not 90s! Valley Girl are so 90s! I think. I will get angry if they made Billy the Steve Urkel!

Elizabeth Banks is actually a good choice to play Rita considered she already play Effie Trinket

I think this movie will get a PG-13 Rating because this one will be more darker than Nickelodeon Power Rangers One.

If they do introduce Tommy Oliver in this movie, I get the feeling it'll be at the very end, as a sort of cliffhanger to lead into a sequel.

So far so good. Let's hope they don't ruin it with something stupid, like making the suits "morph" on them like Mystique's power in the X-Men movies as the rumor currently stands.

As long as they dont go full H.R. Giger should be alright.

I got my Entertainment Weekly in the mail today the Power Rangers movie news is on page 69.

I think The suits will be seamless is what they meant.

Looks fine to me, although I agree that even a token amount of corresponding ranger color would be appreciated...and might yet as other Power Rangers series have shown kids without their colors PRIOR to becoming rangers.

This seems interesting. They look cool, but Id rather judge when we can see them in action, not stand around like they're about to release an album.

To be honest the only thing that has excited me about this movie are the photos of the Angel Grove PD Crown Vics. Im hoping they at least one Charger. :lol

Cast looks pretty good.. Nothing outwardly bad.. But for me it's all about the suits and the zords.

Actually I think that charger police car was just Vancouver PD car and not actually in the movie.

Looks like a solid group of Rangers. I'm really glad to see the toned down colors in their normal clothing. I'm frakking tired of every Ranger constantly, and very obviously wearing the very same color PR outfit they morph into.

Old Ranger cast looks like they could easily take down this cast… Austin St John looks like he could take down this cast.
