Least favorite KR final form design
 

I count final forms as the last and (usually) most powerful form introduced in the episodes alone, I'm talking Ultimate Kuuga, Liner Form, Fourze Cosmic States, OOO PuToTyranno, Wizard Infinity, and so on.

That being said, which design absolutely makes you go *blegh* when you see it. Judging solely on physical appearance and aesthetics. Yes we're being very shallow here.

Go nuts.

Oh yeah, my vote goes to Kiwami Arms. Cool powers, bleh design.

Since the poll only allows 13 options, I'm pretty sure Kuuga Ultimate, Kiva Emperor, and Ryuki Survive aren't gonna be contenders (At least I think)

Seriously though, didn't mean any ill intent by excluding those. I just figured since I rarely ever hear anything bad about them they wouldn't get any votes. Whoops.

Probably cosmic states. Though I haven't seen most of these in action yet so that may change.

Ultimate Kuuga.

Cosmic States only really grew on me because I just had so much fun with Gentarou.

I can't place Putotyra as the final form because it failed miserably at defeating the final baddie. That honor went to Tajador.

Out of the ones I’ve seen, Ryuki Survive is the worst. His normal form is better visually, Ryuki Survive just looks like they took the base form and glued a children’s dragon costume on it. His weird dragon-mouth-gun-sword-thingy is also awful. Dragranzer is great, so is the bike-form, but Ruyki Survive itself is shit. It also has no interesting side other than "Stronger than the base form". His only deal is attacking with the now upgraded Dragreder who transforms into a bike, however that’s Dragranzer power, not Ryuki Survive’s. Yes it’s his contract monster, but still.

Based on looks of ones I haven’t seen in action yet, Fourze Cosmic States and Decade Complete look absolutely awful, but I can't properly judge those.

This kinda destroys the point of the topic, since you already took designs out based on your own point of view which others could disagree with. I know the poll only allows that much, but I would’ve probably split the vote in pre- and post-Decade.

Kuuga Ultimate is garbage just for what it represents in the show. I truly abhor it and the sight of me floods in negative memories. It's horribly designed, fills no true purpose beyond a shitty yin-yang symbolism that fails because the other half is another piece of shit in it's own way, and is a slap to the face for anyone who had the audacity and gall to honestly want to and try to get into the series. But because it wanted to be different from the Riders of yore, Kuuga Ultimate became a slap to the face as part of the final insult Kuuga could give.
Don't bias your poll just because you assume people like something since you like it.

Not really a topic I've given a lot of thought to in the past, but reflecting on it now there's quite a few that I have issue with.

Not really a fan of Kiva Emperor or Blade King because I find their overuse of gold bland and sickly. King form has a lot of nice detail to back it up, but Kiva Emperor is just kinda dull compared to the much more pleasing colourscheme of regular Kiva.

I agree with Kiwami on Ryuki Survive. Dragranzer is neat but the actual Ryuki costume leaves a lot to be desired.

Not a fan of Hibiki Armed either - mostly because it represents the show's horrible turning point, but the addition of a blade weapon really took away from Hibiki's charm in general. The red colouring is gorgeous but it's nothing Hibiki Kurenai didn't already give me.

Out of all of those I'm not really sure which I dislike the most. I guess Kiva Emperor because its the only one that doesn't have a single element that grabs me in some way.

I feel sorry for Decade Complete. I understand what they were going for with the design, but IMO the main reason on why it looked ugly is not because of the cards, but rather the silver color scheme. It makes everything look plain. Decade's base form looked good because magenta is the primary color. When they replaced it with a bland silver, it looks, well bland.

The same goes with Kiwami Arms. I understand the design, but the silver color scheme makes it bland. And what's worse is that story wise, it's Gaim's primary form now.

If they really want silver take a cue from Wizard. Make it shiny. Hell make it Chrome. It's why Gavan looks awesome.

Now for Kiwami Arms. like I said, it's the silver, but it's also because Kachidoki Arms looks FAR better from it. Even Den-O, whose Liner Form is weaker than Climax, still looked elegant as a final form. This is why I'm worried about Mugen Damashii.

In the end, I have to vote Drive Type Tridoron. Now that form, I'm fine with the color scheme ( even though I prefer if it's actually metallic), but what makes it look meh in my book is the placement of the tire. Granted, it makes sense when he's doing the Tire Blend since the tires go through his left hand, but it looks off and makes the suit look bulky. The tire itself is pretty much my major complaint on most of Drive's form. It makes the suits look too bulky. If there's one thing I like about Type Tridoron, it's the shoe. Love that mini tires (ironically).

Gotta be Kiwami, such a disappointment after the awesomeness that was Kachidoki arms!

Of course I can't speak for seasons I have not watched yet, but Putotyra just looks so ugly to me. The purple dinosaur theme just seems so idiotic and it looks vaguely like something a very little kid would make. Pretty much every other combo looked better than it.

While I find Decade's Complete form to be the least visually pleasing (although it's close), Gaim's Kiwami arms is the most disappointing from a thematic perspective. Its biggest sin is not being a fruit. Sure, it's got the lame fruit sticker on the chest, but man. They had one job! Not having a fruit plop onto his shoulders killed it for me. Also: needlessly pointy hat.

However, my biggest incompatibility with Rider fandom is that I'm not a fan of form-switching. Some shows used it well (W, Gaim), but in other places, it just strikes me as unneccessary/lame (Fourze, Drive.) I think my main objection, however, is that Riders' main forms almost always look better. Toei puts a great deal of time and effort into the base designs, and later forms never look to me like they've been given as much love.

I think I'm on-board with SengalBoy's point about the gold and silver color schemes coming across as bland.

Kiva Emperor Form isn't in the list.

I am pleased, as that suit is perfection.

Ryuki Defense to the.... you Know I will admit it Ryuki Survive is not great, is a real let down in terms of upgrades of the rider before ryuki and Ryuki's main power is really his contract monster.

Gaim's final form I do not like as much do to not really connecting with the mechanics of the previous forms, aka the folding fruits, connecting with the final form and Complete decade looks bad.

Decade Complete. It looks bad, doesn't really add anything to Decade's fighting beyond "Summon this dude for a finisher", and it looks bad.

Hopefully Grateful will make good use of it's summoning powers. I know it isn't a final form but the two function similarly.

But yeah I chose Decade complete. If I had a second choice, and if it was on the list, probably Ryuki Survive, that chest area just kills it for me. They got it right with Knight Survive, so why couldn't they get it right with Ryuki?

Gaim Kiwami Arms... while it is slightly bland due to the silver it at least shows progression in terms of design. Admittedly Kachidoki kind of prepared us for this in a subtle way since Kachidoki isn't technically a fruit. Also while Kachidoki looks cool, subsequent fight scenes made me not like it due to all the large armor flopping about whenever Gaim moved around in it.

Gaim's Kiwami form make no sense with it's color scheme and the giant pointed head.

At this point, I have to go with Cosmic Fourze, which was a huge mess. If Ghost's Grateful form is anything to go by, though, then my answer is probably going to change whenever we see what that show has to offer.

The first ones that come to mind are Fourze Cosmic and Faiz Blaster - the two boring redecoes (and minor retools) of the main form that pick colors that clash with the design in an effort to be different from the main form.
Faiz Blaster is a worse offender in that regard - it offers nothing truly new and different to look at compared to the main form, except for being red.
So my vote goes to him.

But beyond the "repaint/retool" criticism, I'm not a fan of Decade Complete either. Too much pink on silver, his eyes probably being the last straw.

I gotta say, though - I have no problems with Kiwami. I think the silver looks nice and the chest gets a pass from me since it's supposed to be a cuirass and not just any old chestplate.

Huh. Man, I didn't know so many people didn't like Ryuki Survive. I wasn't the biggest fan at first, but it's grown on me a lot recently. I think Knight Survive is positively hideous though.

Gaim Kiwami Arms it just looks weird with that fruit basket in the middle of the chest.

Kuuga his final form it just looks boring.

Den-o liner it looks like they took a bunch of parts from other riders and glue them together. Also I never like how Den-o eyes look because to me it felt like the eyes where going to fall off his helmet lol.

Saying you don't like it is one thing. But to say it doesn't "make sense" is flat out wrong.

Hmm... I'm gonna have to go with Decade's final. I'd say why but I'm pretty sure everyone else said it better than I could.

So I'm noticing something with the poll, and I haven't seen anyone really talk about it. But, why do people not like Agito Shining form? I thought it was a pretty neat form.

My guess is that like Gaim's Kiwami to Kachidoki, Agito's Shining pales compared to Burning. But that's just me.

Much as I loved the show, Faiz Blaster is definitely the worst of the ones I'm really familiar with. I do not care for the color-scheme, inverting the base suit's colors didn't do the form any favors, and it overall just feels really lazy.

I love Ryuki Survive. But to be fair, the only thing about Ryuki I really dislike is the last 10 minutes or so of the last episode >_>

I'm surprise how many people voted for Shining Agito. I really love that design. My least favorite would be Decade Compete. I remember laughing on how stupid that design looked when I first saw it.

I know right, it's like the highest voted item on the list which is baffling because I've hardly ever hear any complaints about it besides not being as good as the preceding form design-wise. Hell, that complaint is not even exclusive to Shining Agito since that is a pretty common complaint with most final forms if there's any complaints about the final form.

I have a problem with SO MANY final forms.

Both Ryuki and Knight Survive are dreadful.
Decade and Diend Complete make my eyes hurt.
Kiva Emperor Form is garish and awful and such a disappointment compared to the base form (and the other monster forms).
Fourze Cosmic states is garbage.
I "get" Gaim Kiwami Arms, but I don't really like it -- especially compared to the far superior Kachidoki Arms.

But the kicker for me, if we're including secondary riders, is Meteor Storm. Base Meteor is hands down my #1 favorite Kamen Rider suit design, and it's close to the top of my all-time favorite super hero designs, period. I felt gutted when I first saw his final form, and I felt like I'd been stabbed in the face every time Ryusei transformed into Meteor Storm instead of Meteor.

If we're mentioning Secondary Finals, Beast Hyper is pretty bad as well. Beast's original form is nice and shiny, and then it just becomes a slightly lion-y Meteor Storm... with tassels.

My big issue with Emperor Kiva is the hue they used for the gold. It's way too yellow, which makes it look fake. A colder gold, closer to King Form Blade, would've looked more like real metal.

Drive Type Tridoron. That thing is just a mess.

I'm not a big fan of it either, watching OOO, it grew on me a bit, but I just don't like it...the S.I.C on the other hand...

Me too. I don't like it as much as Burning, but it's not bad.

I think most of them are ugly, but I voted for Hyper Kabuto. Ugh.

So far, Blade King Form is my favorite Final Form...

Whoever voted for Blade King Form, know this: you have made an enemy for life. That suit is gorgeous.

I have no idea why Shining Agito is ahead in the poll. It's not THE greatest final form but it's far far from the worst.

I voted for Decade Complete form but that's only because Kiva and Ryuki' final forms weren't listed. But yeah Decade Complete is just an odd design.

Strange that Kuuga Ultimate, Ryuki Survive, or Kiva Emperor isn't here, since I know people that hate Kiva's final form, but Wizard's Infinity disappointed me quite a bit, considering the range of things his previous forms could do, and yet "Infinity" was stuck with just making his axe grow, ripping of Den-O Sword form, and of course a final Rider Kick. The coolest thing it did was have that dragon mode in the movie, and then the stupid gold form appeared and took the awesomeness of that away.

I personally dislike faiz blaster, decade complete, and to a degree kiwami arms. Faiz and Decade are for the reasons of being disappointing and silly. Kiwami arms is because I hate the wizard hat helmet, everything else I like I just want to change that stupid helmet.

Of all the forms people are citing to dislike, the only one that I don't understand is Faiz Blaster.
What is everyone's qualms with it? I don't understand.
