The red sky is expanding, suggesting the Ganma World is overtaking the humans' home. Can the Riders overcome this?

I'm so happy, Grimm is probably one of my favorite forms from Ghost so it was nice to see it get used a lot more since Sanzo got the better deal of the two.

Also I wasn't expecting Igor to use the Book Ganma, and it's too bad he didn't fight that much either. I would have loved to see Alain with Grimm go up against Igor with his Book Ganma coat.

I haven't seen the episode yet, but did they show when Igor Ghost Changed into Book? Did he use an Eyecon? Unlike the other three they don't show the Eyecon on the Asahi site...

Yeah he actually went straight into Book instead of going into his normal form and then loading the Eyecon. But yeah he had an Eyecon and when he pressed it a pink picture of the Book Ganma's face showed up.

I had just glazed over it cause I thought, "Oh is he going to go Knife again or something?" Cause I saw the pink and mistook it for red. Then when he went book I was surprised.

I am really love Igor uses Book Ganma Eyecon. I hope he will uses more Ganma Eyecon in the future. I am really want Igor transform into Ganma Superior Planet Form.

I ma just glad that Akari gets to be of use. When Ghost first started, I thought that she would end up being the most useless character in this series. Time has (thankfully) proven me wrong.

That Boost Houdini though was an amazing sight to see. I was very sad when Takeru switched to Grateful.

That's pretty irony that Kanon end up becoming the most useless character since he always end up being damsel in distress! :lolol

I just want Grimm to actually use a finisher at least once before the show ends, I want to know what that would look like. Also Sanzo, outside of just being an escape move.

Wonder what Makoto would think of Takeru using his bike. "Thanks for saving me, but who said you could go and use Houdini?!"

Specter: So you were out joyriding on my bike while I was trapped in a capsule.

Ghost: It was for a good cause!

Specter: You already have a frickin' Ghost Ship that turns into an iguana! You didn't need my bike! Not cool, Takeru, not cool at all.

Well there is the Ganbaride Games, I forget where but I saw a video that showed every single Damashii with their own finisher. Some of them being completely different than what we've got in the actual show. Like with Nobunaga, instead of 20 Guns firing at once, he has rows of guns where they simultaneously take turns firing at the opponent. All while he just stands back watching over his opponents death like a true warlord.

I loved Grimm's the most because it involved him taking one of his pens off his shoulders and writing in a book. A giant book would materialize under the opponent and those pen tendrils he uses would shoot out and attack them while he's writing. Then I believe he wrote, FIN, and then an explosion occurred.

Man that was some bullshit at the end. Takeru going Grateful was literally the most unnecessary thing ever. He was already using his upgrade form with Makoto's upgrade form, where the hell does the logic even lie in him needing to get even stronger while downgrading Necrom, just to deal with some already halfway beat MOTWs?

Seriously, just some bullshit. I know they need to advertise the toy, blah blah blah, but no. Him using Boost all the time made sense, Ore is weak as hell and Boost is not. Boost is just strong enough. Most of the time he uses Grateful it's just obscenely unnecessary. This time there weren't even any ghost summoning shenanigans to make it fun.

Let Grimm have the damn finisher, is what I'm saying.

Anyway, pretty alright episode. The Book Eyecon wasn't destroyed, so I guess we may see it used a second time in the future. Which is alright. The Book Ganma is alright (though I noticed they screwed up a little, the clones aren't supposed to have the bird on the hat but whatever I guess). Still waiting for them to bring back the best Ganma though. Yari died too early.

Speaking of Book, considering that's who they brought back Grimm for, and also the fact that it's technically based on two people...it actually would have been cool if it turned out one of Grimm's abilities was creating a double. Would have been thematically appropriate. Could've been cool.

And hey, new music during the Igor/Alain confrontation. Really having a hard time figuring out where that shout came from when Alain transformed though. Sounded like "Damare!" or something. So confused about it.

And I notice lately they've been using the DX Grimm Eyecon as a prop. Which is a damn shame cause that thing is ugly as sin. Oh well.

I mean, don't get me wrong. I agree with you, but I also sort of understand why they did it. The Necrom finisher is a Rider Kick, wheras Grimm's isn't. Partaking in a double Rider Kick is usually kind of a symbolic gesture that implies partnership and teamwork, and I get the idea that's what they were going for here. Besides, it's entirely possible that Necrom's finisher is actually stronger than Grimm's.

Of course, they could have just screwed the rules and had Grimm do a kick anyway. It's not like they haven't done something like that before.

Necrom has a nice rider kick. But do you know what would be nice for his other finishers as Grimm & Sanzo?

Grimm: A rider punch where he can use his dagger pens. Of course it'll involve a book too since his form is based on the Brothers Grimm.

Sanzo: Instead of a cloud as an escape, he should use the ring to bind his enemy and do a rider chop!

Pretty sure both Grimm and Sanzo's Omega Drives are already shown in the Ganbarizing game. I think I heard Grimm's has something to do with Necrom actually writing a fairytale while his pens slash the enemy repeatedly, and when he gets to "The End" the enemy explodes.

I can't confirm any of this however.

Man, most of those are cooler than the in-show finishers.

Ganbarizing finishers, from what I've seen of past seasons, don't tend to be accurate when it comes to anything other than a rider kick for that form. Some of Wizard's and Gaim's finishers were pretty different from what the show had, if I recall correctly.

The Beethoven one is pretty cool.

A little off topic, but is Reon Kadena still doing photobooks? She's even hotter now that she's 30 :P

I am just loving this freaking story right now. Alain's development and interactions with Akari were amazing here. Him accepting his doubts and his worries that let him grow more and let the Eyecons accept him with Grimm giving him his power. Great to see Houdini on Toukon Boost Ghost that's a nice match-up and great use too. Nice to see Ghost being more level headed with Onari, and the others. Adel finding her Dad was good, and Akari coming up with the antidote was fantastic letting her be very important to this show. I like Alain a lot with him opening up to the Takoyaki Shop woman too. I wonder what will happen to Javert and if he might switch sides too if they help him. The characters and the story are really well right now and I can't wait to see them more in the Ganma world and save Makoto next.
