Who'll be the new "Tommy" in the movie?
 

I know that the movie is still in development until next year.

But just to be well... ya know...?

Once the movie is successful and it'll have a sequel, who do you picture playing Tommy the Green & White Rangers?

Well, it's hard to say. All the rangers have relatively small resumes, according to IMDB, so I assume whoever they cast as Tommy will be an acting newcomer/unknown, too.

Anyone EXCEPT those three!

I feel Booboo Stewart would be perfect for Tommy.

He appeared on Disney's Descendants. Now he's gonna appear as Takeda in the next new MK web series.

Probably someone with a similar amount of previous acting experience as the people playing the main five. Hopefully someone who won't get an ego out of the role, lol.

It won't be anyone from a television show or movie that's widely know. The only 'known' star of the film is Elizabeth Banks. I doubt this late into production, and filming they'd go ahead and cast a sixth. Which is why I so hope they'll wait until at least the sequel, even though I do see a end credits scene or something happening.

To answer the original question though, I don't care who it is long as the movie is great. Until we get the first one, I won't know how to judge that either.

I have a feeling we'll see civilian Tommy briefly but not ranger Tommy.

I know that in the end Tommy will appear as a shadow flipping the Dragonzord coin.

Why?
That's about as likely to happen as going "I know that Jason's car is gonna be playing the original MMPR theme."

He has a "normal" name.
Plus, just be glad it's not something like Pony Boy or Soda Pop. :lolol
And hey, he was decent in X-Men as Warpath.

To voluntarily go by that ridiculous name when you don't have too, that is even worse.

Also apparently the name of Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin's daughter, Apple, was inspired by the Bible.
