Fourze episode 41-"The Club Coll-Apses" discussion
Virgo or rather Emoto has begun to banish the KRC to the Dark Nebula! To make matters worse Mr. Ohsugi has dissolved the club again! Can Tachibana turn the tide?
Feel free to discuss the episode here. |
Wow, for once it wasn't me or Den-O who posted this XD. Don't forget, we get to see the states from Megamax- Rocket States!

Well well, if it isn't my old nemesis OO- Oh. Well, a new challenger has appeared!
|
HOLY S#!T... Do not touch this unless you watched it already-
Virgo/Emoto was actually Tachibana all along! |
This is probably too soon, but according to ep 42 preview, Tachibana turned out to be Virgo. Only Gentaro and Kengo left, how are they gonna fight back ?
|
^And that was why I put the spoiler tag, so that way people who didn't see it wouldn't know XD
I loved the part where he pulled out the Super Rocket Switch. "Nadeshiko..." |
I'm still totally mind-blown at that reveal at the end. Talk about a mind-fuck! This show has had more twists and turns lately than a pretzel and I'm loving it. I hate to say it, but Kamen Rider Fourze is shaping up to be one of the best overall Kamen Rider shows ever!
|
A lot of shocking twists and turns this time around!
Tachibana being that sneaky snake in the grass Emoto/Virgo was unexpected to say the least. Still what's more of a surprise is that Virgo strongarmed Shun, Miu, JK and Yuki to leave the club and Meteor was banished to the Dark Nebula by his own employer!!!!!!! It'll be interesting how Fourze plans to stop Virgo WITHOUT Cosmic States to fall back on. It's a nice change of pace by having stories where the Rider deals with problems without spamming his strongest form or forms. I sincerly hope Wizard lives up to the storytelling of this series. |
I really need to stop opening up the Fourze discussion threads before I see the newest episode. I don't know why I do this to myself.
|
That's two weeks in a row I've been spoiled on Fourze :( Knew I shouldn't have come to check the thread.

Also, the sub is up! Fourze 41 Just watched the episode myself. Now knowing that Virgo, Tachibana, and Emoto are all one in the same I am ridiculously confused as to his motivation in all this. What's his game? Is he pretending to loyally serve Gamou while secretly trying to stop him? But then he also murdered Utahosi and admitted to it. So what does that mean for him? |
Maybe he was under Gamou's mind control but broke free trying to foil his plan by being Tachibana. But now Gamou found out and do it again.

Hopefully we'll get to see Ryusei in the Dark Nebula, ideally teaming up with all the other characters who've been sent there to try and find a way out (except Kijimia - fuck Kijima). |

It's entirely possible this was all Gamou's plan from the start, for all we know. After all, Gamou does specifically say that him and Emoto BOTH came up with it. As without Fourze/Meteor things wouldn't have gone as smoothly. Plus, it does explain why they didn't just send in the heavy hitters early on to dispose of them. If anything though, I suspect Virgo's gonna get defeated in 42, given how he stupidly left Meteor's transform on Automatic, and I'm REALLY curious what'll happen with Libra. His character arc's been pretty fascinating, and he's evidently clueing in to the fact his master probably has an ulterior motive he's not telling anybody. Makes me wonder if Libra will end up saving them all from the Dark Nebula, to try and derail Gamou's plans... |
This episode.
It will http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dvo8kXGv_Uk OMG. That was crazy. So Tachibana was Emoto who was Virgo!? That also means that he's intentionally withheld Meteor's identity to Gamou. ALSO: My 2 theories for why he's training Gentarou 1: Gamou needs Fourze to activate the Core Switch, so by training him to be ruthless, he can remove his friends from the equation without removing Fourze's powers (And he'll trick Gen into thinking the Core Switch can bring back his friends or something...) 2: ...I actually can't think of one. I can't make a reading on his plans. He helped Ryusei with his revenge against Aries by giving him the Meteor Driver, gave him the Meteor Storm upgrade, actually removed his powers when he killed Gen, and never revealed his identity to Gamou. And now he's training Fourze? Yeah. I can't wait for next episode. Damn, these last couple episodes of Fourze have been so freaking amazing. |
Damn, that twist. What an amazing episode.
I really want to know what Virgo's plans are now, given that his actions don't all add up. By the looks of it Libra's gonna get another moment to shine soon too, which should be interesting. Out of all the KRC members getting threatened, I kinda felt the worst for Shun :lol |
Damn what an episode, I thought last weeks was good but this one flew by and the ending, what!! I like how it looks like the series might have taken the 'Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer' saying almost literally =p
First though, I liked how using S-1 was a final straw and how the reason we haven't seen it in series till now was handled, the whole in memory of Nadeshiko type thing. I thought that was a nice touch. The twist and just general direction the show is heading is pretty awesome. I have lots of ideas floating around in my head that would take forever to type so I'll just say bring on next week and I'm excited to see where this heads. |
That was a great episode, even though I did know the twist. I want answers just as bad as Meteor does as to what Virgo's play is.
|
Once the Virgo arc ends will Meteor keep his secret identity or will he tell people he's a Kamen Rider? After all while the guy who told him to keep his status as a Kamen Rider secret was Virgo himself.
Also how willing is Gentaro in becoming more ruthless to deal with the last of the Horiscopes? The show is getting exciting and I can't wait to see how it plays out! |
I think Gen might actually try to take Virgo's ruthlessness training to heart, only for the other KRC members to rally him and he'll be recharged through the power of friendship or something.
I'm more curious as to whether or not we'll see anything concerning Meteor and co in the Dark Nebula. Also, quick question: How would you react if it's revealed that there is no escape from the Dark Nebula? (I know it's unlikely that they'll go this route, but still, it's always a possibility) |
If there wound up being no escape? Floored. We had a discussion a week or so ago where someone brought up how awesome it would be if everyone just died in the end. Which if they leave everyone in the nebula would accomplish the same thing. which would be awful, not awesome. It would undermine the entire friendship theme that the show runs on.
|
lol I know. I participated.
But what if Kain's wish came true? What would you do if Virgo, before dying, says "There is no escape from the Dark Nebula."? |
MAN! That was one heck of the episode! The last two episodes have really knocked it out of the park! Why couldn't this have been the case for the whole series? Don't get me wrong...I love Fourze. It's one of my favorite series but there's been quite a few "meh" episodes and arcs in this series. Oh well! As long as it continues the current trend I'm fine with it!
|
If there's no escape, he could just go "f*** you gamou, f*** you Leo, f*** you Libra, f*** you Fourze" then rule the world.
|
I'm just getting this super feeling that Virgo is still a "good guy". He obviously has to play Gamou, and I got the sense that if Libra hadn't shown up Virgo would have informed them all of their true plans.
I suspect Virgo and Libra will turn on Gamou and Leo. So the end will be... Fourze, Meteor, Virgo, and Libra against Gamou, Gemini, Leo, and Pisces or whomever is the other one that's still left. And I expect Libra to end up dying in the end. The only reason Libra is still around is obviously to end up switching sides to save himself. He's been all anti-Gamou for awhile, and now that he's piecing the plan of Gamou together, he'll bail. Virgo? Different story. Virgo hated the moon because Kengo's dad was the Earth, and the moon revolved around the Earth. It was dependant on the Earth. He removed the moon and became the Earth, but now he wants to remove the Earth to become the Sun (which Gamou is, as all things revolve around the Sun). From the beginning he created Fourze and Meteor to bring out the Horoscopes, but they've become more powerful than he imagined, and they are now HIS pawns, just as Gamou was using the other Zodiarts as his pawns. I dunno. Penis envy for sure. |
The only thing that makes me wonder about whether or not Virgo's actually a "good" guy is the fact that going off Gamou's dialogue, they've BOTH been working on this plan for awhile and are both clued in.
|
I suspect Virgo's time is nearly over.
They won't leave Meteor out of the game for too long. After all, his Figuart just came out. |

Does anyone remeber when TachiVirEmoto said that Zodiart switches cannot be truly used for good, but then Aquarius used her powers to heal Yuki and Kengo and Taurus transformed to defend the school from the other Horoscopes? Does anyone think he was lying or there may be more to the switches than Gamou is letting on? |
That's not quite the case. He's right in that switches cannot truly be used for good. Switches amplify negative emotions, regardless of the intentions of the user. Look at Cygnus, who wanted to fight for justice, but ended up just a brute.
Aquarius's example isn't all that puzzling. She wanted someone like Kengo, who's quiet, smart, nice, calm, and generally someone worthy to be a leader (Like her father) to succeed. But then look at her the moment Yuuki's name was even brought up. She turned into a raging monster. The switcher can want to do the right thing, but the anger, envy, or whatever will eventually push them over the edge. |
But in the end Erin understood Yukis' dream and sincerity. Because of that she respected her and was willing to heal her. She wasn't so twisted and broken that she couldn't recognize someone wanting to fulfill their dream. And she only fought Gentarou in the end because she knew she had no choice but to. Her allegiance to Gamou is the only reason she fought her friend. She wasn't twisted by the switch to interpret the KRC badly.
The same thing can be said of Taurus. Once he was able to admit his feelings for the previous council president and realized he didn't truly need to do these things for her he was fine. He was all ready to use his powers to help the KRC. Yes it twisted him a bit in the beginning what with the whole stealing souls thing but he got better :lol |
Well, of course the switch doesn't turn them into a raging monster, but look at them before the fact.
It even happened with Perseus. |
The switch amplifies negative energy and negative emotion.
With Aquarius, we saw jealousy spill in to rage. With Taurus, we saw anger spill in to total domination. I think the quote is basically stating that because the switches amplify NEGATIVE feelings/emotion/energy, one can never use the switch for the purpose of doing good things. Aquarius could heal, yes, but she only used the switch when the negative feelings/emotions over-powered her. Same for Taurus. My thoughts are that it's a flaw in Gamou's plan ... he's able to have very fast Horoscope Zodiarts thanks to Libra but the cost is that they are never truly allowed to let the switch push the negativity to the forefront like we saw in earlier Horoscopes. Zodiart Switch = Increases Negative Energy More Negative Energy = Stronger Horoscope Stronger Horoscope = Scorpio, Aries, etc. |
Quote:
Not that Gamou cares, either, at this point, given that he just wants to pump out switches ASAP. That said, here's a random thought - any chance that Foundation X will come back into play? After all, Gamou's urgency to produce Horoscope switches has increased, and we know he basically burned his bridges with them. Makes me wonder if Libra will pull a Taboo from W and turn doubleagent for the OTHER bad guys. |
That would actually be awesome if he did that. Libra really needs to assert himsel and his own identity. If he winds up going double agent that way, or teaming up with Fourze and Meteor I'll be happy. And we do know that Foundation X has at least a small part to play in Gmaou's plan since they funded his research. BUt who knows how far it all really goes.

Sure, the scene was meant to show how badass Leo is, but it also properly connects the Foundation to the Fourze universe outside of the movies. Entirely possible that it's foreshadowing. |
Makes me wonder whose Virgo is on really also what is the Dark Nebula.
