Everything about that figure is beautiful except for the overly long horns.

Not a fan of the squished face or super long horns.

This might just be the first SIC figure I buy.

'Bout damn time they're getting to these. Zangetsu looks better than I remember it looking from the convention pics, but yes the forehead horns are comically large. That aside, I like the look of this more than Gaim.

Might pick this up, but I think I'll wait and see how Gaim turns out first.

The other thing is I don't want to end up buying all these characters again in SIC form :lol

Love the pincer shield and the alternate blade, but the helmet looks hilariously bad.

I might get Gaim if I get him for cheap but this is too ugly looking for my taste.

I think that's actually a sheathe rather than an alternate blade.

Don't think so, he wears a scabbard over said blade in the full body shots and on the last pic which showcases the accessories you can see that the bigger blade has a peg on the other end, not a hole were the other blade could fit in.

If you're talking about the last photo, that's the sheath. It shows, sword, sheath, and shield. The peg is there because you take the blade off and switch the two. This giving the sword a sheathed appearance. But you can leave sheath/scabbard attached to the hip.

Exactly. None of the shots show it used as an actual blade which leads me to believe it's a sheath rather than a blade. It just swaps out with the blade rather than be hollow (which isn't that rare with figures like this).

Huh, guess you guys are right. I was thrown off since the scabbard is colored like the blade and because he wears another scabbard over it, but I guess that one's for decoration only.

Also, I was sure Gaim had a working scabbard so I assumed Zangetsu does too, guess I'm wrong.

Which sucks because I hate fake scabbards on figures, I prefer swords you can actually store in their sheaths.

I love S.I.C.s, but that head crest is absolutely terrible.

Just got mine in-hand and I am really surprised that they actually re-molded the head to make it far more proportioned! It looks a hundred times better.
