This isn't really Sentai/Rider related so I am keeping it here. For future reference too, if any of you feel like making non-Toku related toy threads, feel free to post them here.

D-Arts is like the video game based equivalent of the SH Figuarts line. Since the staff here inadvertently killed my wallet and drove up my love for SH Figuarts, I ended up crossing over to D-Arts too, hence my 1st purchase.

My 1st purchase in the line is Zero V2. I passed on V1(and almost bought it!) because it lacked the Z-saber. Zero is bad ass with the saber! So I waited and now I have it.

I like it. At first I felt that it was rickety and felt kind of cheap, but once I "broke in" the joints, it was a joy to pose. The only annoying thing is that his hair does not pivot upwards as much as I would like(it's due to the helmet sculpt), and his silver arm covers(for the elbows) can get dislodged easily. In addition, the right forearm can easily swap for another arm, and I tried to take off the left forearm but it wouldn't budge so I stopped. Is it supposed to come off? If not..man I hope I didn't damage it! Doesn't seem like I did.

This figure is excellent. Tamashii did a great job hiding most of the joints. At 1st glance it does not look like it could be as articulated as it actually is. Actually, from 1st glance, it looks like a PVC statue! That's how well the joints are disguised and it's necessary to maintain the anime-accurate look.

The ankle joints are wonderful, those and the shoulder joints are double jointed in a neat manner. The hip joints are weird, they work great but I have trouble figuring out just HOW they work. Ultimately there's a lot going on with this figure engineering wise and it is an impressive sight to behold.

I will get X eventually and hope Blues/Protoman makes his way to the collection.

The only D-Art I have is Omegamon, and my god is he gorgeous!
There is a beautiful shine to his entire body, and his accessories are great. The Omega saber, the Garuru Cannon, and that cape of his (Also included is a second jaw for his Garurumon arm to better hold the cannon). While I do wish he came with blast effects like his Mega Man brethren, I'm fine with just this. The only problem I have is that the connection from his waist to his legs is kind of loose, but once you start posing him, it really doesn't feel like in issue.

Most people know Omegamon from Digimon: The Movie, possibly from his brief scenes in Adventure 02, and god help you if you know him from his appearance in Savers/Data Squad.
But I'll always remember him from that time he went on a mass killing spree with no remorse for any of his actions.

Did they ever release that Gallantmon D-Arts?

People were killed in Digimon? Holy crap! News to me! I didn't watch it because when it was out in the states it was obviously trying to compete with Pokemon. I DID dig how the monsters could transform though, and some of the toys looked neat. The D-Arts for them look really good but since I know next to nothing about the series, I haven't bought any.

Oh god, I am WAITING impatiently for the KOF D Arts! Especially Kim Kapwhan! I can see why Terry is delayed though, Tamashii doesn't like exposed/unsightly joints and since Terry's arm has no sleeves, that shoulder joint can't be to their liking.

Irritated that we haven't heard much since though. I DO remember however, when Bluefin Tamashii Nations USA mentioned fighting game figures by Tamashii, in addition to KOF, they DID mention Samurai Showdown! Or more or less suggested it.

How can you not want a Kibagami Genjuro and Hattori Hanzo D Arts figure?

Coming out in August.

Omegamon is the one figure from this line I want most. I've got Beelzebumon and Wargreymon and Dukemon preordered, but it just won't feel complete till I get him. I don't know when I'll be able to afford him though...

Oh I love this thread! I've got Zero v.2 and I love him! I had to cancel my pre-order for Gallantmon though. Too many other high priority items arriving at the time. I hope I can pick one up later down the road!

I own two:

X and Izanagi from Persona 4.

X is pretty good, he's basically Figuarts quality. Izangi on the other hand is okay. The head on mine is a little bit on the loose side.

I will get X eventually, I want the normal version and possibly the super armor version.

I would love to see D Arts Rockman, Blues, Rush and Beat! Also Gemini Man.

The Mega Man X Figuarts makes me wish Omegamon's Garuru Cannon came with a blast effect part...

Yes, I'd love to see Megaman get more love outside of the X series as well. I'd pr obably buy classic Megaman, even though I already own the Koto model kit of him.

Bluefin hinted at some reveals during sdcc. So fingers crossed for next week.

Knowing how Japan and BlueFin wants to drive me broke this fall they'll reveal Leomon (with Beelzemon stabbing options :p) for an October release and Megaman Trigger (from Legends for those not familiar) for November.

Digimon wise, I would prefer them to release the rest of the Royal Knights. Dukemon is on the way, but what about Magnamon, Alphamon, Examon, Ulforce Veedramon, Craniamon, Duftmon, Kentarosmon, Crusadermon, and Dynasmon?

Bluefin is at it again, "Hey Megaman fans! We have a surprise for you!". I have a feeling SDCC is about to be hype!

You Mega Man fans get all the luck.
Digimon got Wargreymon and Omegamon with a teased MetalGarurumon and Dukemon.
You've already got 2 different X's, 2 Zeros, Vile, and now this teased figure at SDCC :P

You reckon they might do D-Arts of the rookie Digimon? Since their smaller size they could 2-pack em'.

Hey, you're still ahead of us KOF fans. We got to see three cool figures and the leg of a fourth from a convention and they've never been mentioned again.

I think things like rookie level Digimon would end up in a Figuarts ZERO equivalent line for D-Arts...

I guess compared to KoF I'm lucky Digimon even got 2 released then :lol

Those aren't D-Arts Tai and Agumon. Those are just old Digimon figures from the 90's, I believe.
I may be wrong though.

What Kidicarus posted is the unfinished D-Arts prototype. It just looks 90's because Tai is posed in in his promo images pose.

I'd love to see some Battle Network love. If they made the Searchman, I'd die of pure glee :lol

Royals Knights in the D-Arts line would be awesome. I'd expect them to at least give us Alphamon eventually.

But I'd rather see the main Digimon from each series first. We've got Wargreymon/Omnimon and Dukemon now. So I want to see Paildramon Fighter Mode, Susanoomon, Shinegreymon, Shoutmon xWhatever first.

But all those have to come after Metalgarurumon of course.

I haven't seen the show in a while. Remind me who the Knights were again?

I think Digimon fans have it better. At least they don't have to worry about their series getting canceled. I'm not even sure Capcom even wants to do anymore D-Arts of Megaman.

I miss Beelzamon. So damn badass, that whole season was.

I loved Tamers.
I know a lot of people who dropped Digimon after S2/Adventure 02. Shame, Tamers was easily the best series.

It was. Better Digimon design, better story. Much darker. 01 and 02 were fun, but to... kiddish. 03 was so much better.

I'm guilty of that. The early episodes just didn't grab me the way Adventure did, even if one of my favourite Digimon was in it.
I need to go back and watch it through to the end though.

Be warned. 03 gets heavy, depressing, and sad once they introduce Beelzamon and the D-Reaper. The whole part after the digital world is just messed up.

Its a shame the winged version of Beelzemon never came out.

I'm still hoping his bike will be released with the wings and gun arm... They've shown with SHF Ankh they don't have a problem plugging wings into small posts, so he already has spots that would be perfect for the wings to plug into.

That's pretty much just a dream though and if it ever comes out I'm more sure it'll be its own figure...

Actually, Blaster Mode showed up at some toy show sometime earlier this year with a card that said 2012 release date. Take that as you will though.
