Not bad. Obviously they'll look so much better with the mask on. Reminds of Power Rangers Ninja Storm when their helmets opened up.

I really think the suits come off as a bit too...'busy'? I mean I'm looking at the helmets and can still barely tell what each of them should be in terms of an animal/dinosaur.

And I understand the whole 'alien technology' thing, but I have to say that that swirly effect on the suits with the colors makes me think too much of the CG technology used in Babylon 5 back in the 90s...

Which if that's what they're going for, then I guess they succeeded? Yeah, retro!

Still, I'm waiting to see the Zords before making any final judgment. I mean they can't be as bad as the 1995 movie version of the Ninja Megazord...can it?

They look so hideous in that photo. It actually looks as if they're made of dinosaur skin. And it doesn't work.

I can get used to the suit texture but they should have taken cues from tron legacy as well and make the suits less bulky.
This photo I do not mind but Billy sure looks like Don Cheadle from this angle. :lolol

I'm trying to be all gung-ho for the movie. I love Rita's outfit. But these. I need to see more, honestly, because right now I'm just like no. Just no. And I thought we moved past these open facemasks when the first movie came out? Of all the ideas to bring back...

I like it. But i think it's time to move to giving us a trailer.

It can wait. But Bulk and Skull cannot.

That is somthing i'v been thinking of. Are Bulk & Skull in the movie?? And if so why have we not seen any casting news?

I think the designs are a bit over designed but I don't mind but I am not fond of the lack of faceplates unless they are like retractable, in which case, then I don't mind.

One thing I'm glad about is that the helmets are actually different. It was hard to see that with the original picture of the suits.

Where's the color?

And how are they going to do martial arts in those things?

I'm pretty confident that they have retractable visors.

Suits look cool so far. Just need to see them in action soon :P

With the visors up, it looks like Super Sentai meets Gatchaman. Not that this is a bad thing, but all they need are capes to complete the look.

In the meantime, I'm more anxious to see the Megazord. Will they keep Daizyuzin? Or will it be completely different? Or something in-between?

I feel like I'm in the minority with just outright hating these suits. I see so many positive thoughts about them but I just can not get behind them.

I'm just trying to remain positive, because I really don't like them :lol
It's just so hard to see such thick and armored suits and think "Martial arts."
Not to mention the numerous design choices that just don't work.

They basically look like Iron Man already, but based on how they're colored they look like the surface of bowling balls to me. Just very strange.

I'm with you, but I'm trying to stay positive until I see them in action.

However, are you sure these are the Power Rangers suits and not a screen shot of an upcoming Silver Hawks movie?

At least I now know that not all of the helmets (Besides Red) aren't just remolded Ptera heads (in the first image of the costumes, that's seriously what they looked like, ESPECIALLY Trini's)

The big name casting announcements have been keeping a positive buzz around this movie and is keeping me hopeful, but these suits are just awful.

Why the different font? It's a pain in the ass to try to read on a mobile device.

I have no clue how anyone will move freely in these suits. They're over designed, bulky, and suuuuuper derivative of Iron Man.

Also, the boob armor is downright obscene. The ladies all look like Vancuria from Magiranger.

Also also... their helmets continue to look nothing like dinosaurs. Which is kind of a big deal for me.

I'm still willing to be impressed, and I'm hopeful the movie will be good based on the creative team, but damned if I think it's ugly as sin so far.

I havent digged the suits since they first appeared. I really am trying to like them. I feel like watching the movie might help. Its just the way they are handling it with the whole crystal alien armor blah blah blah.

I'm not a fan of them either honestly. They feel just like how I felt the modern Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie looks for the turtles are...'Too Busy'.

Just too much going on with them. It's like someone took Iron Man, the Green Lantern movie suits, Guyver, and the Power Ranger suits, threw them in a blender and out came these...suits.

I mean, the helmets are my biggest annoyance as they really don't help me to know what dinosaur/animal they each represent unlike the original show or 1995 movie ones. Only ones I can kind of tell is the Red and Pink Rangers' helmets. The others though...nope.

The 1995 movie may seem cheesy today, but at least with those suits, they still looks WAY more functional to move in, and still look like...you know, something a person can do martial arts and stuff with. Plus the helmets, while tweaked slightly from the show, still were recognizable as to what they each were for in terms of dinosaur/animal.

My biggest gripe with the suits is that in almost every behind the scenes picture we've seen them in it seems like they can't crunch their abs. It's like the torso is too stiff.

The helmets to me just are not that good looking. One of the things I like about Sentai/ Power Rangers are the helmets and how they incorporate the motif. These out side of red and pink's don't do me anything.
