If Zyuohger was adapted in Power Rangers...?
 

After seeing Zyuoh The World, how would you all picture it adapted into Power Rangers?

Cause I see the 6th ranger to have autism - asperger's syndrome.

Nah. I can totally see them making him generic badass subcategory b: troubling past.
The only time he's acted strange in suit was when he sat in a corner when the bowling monster returned, an easily cut moment.

But it'd be perfect for a ranger with a disability to appear for the first time.

Sitting in a corner feeling guilty for something he is ashamed of something small or someone afraid of trying something could fit.

This is just my opinion, so please don't be too angry at me anyone that disagrees, but I don't think power rangers should go into these sorts of things. It's a show about 5 people in spandex punching monsters in the face- it wouldn't have the complexity to deal with the issues across a whole series. Unless it was explained well, children watching probably wouldn't understand (and, as much as I like Power Rangers, the writing isn't the best out there), and when its so much easier to write him, as Matrix said, as generic badass number 412, that's what they'll do, and I'll take that over a badly-handled autistic character that never acts like it in suit, and that shouldn't be the focus of his character anyway.

While Power Rangers has never shied away from the occasional social issue (usually environmental), I second the notion that the writing might be hard pressed to explain Asperger's Syndrome.

Maybe can they pull off a In Space type of show and do something really original. The show can have jungle animals, but have a totally original plot.

Eh, just have them as pet shop clerks or workers at a zoo who secretly are intergalactic rangers bent on protecting Earth's endangered species from evil aliens.

No. Absolutely not. I do not want Zyuohger adapted.

The suit designs are horrible and the Zords are bricks, literally. (Especially the final combination. RPM Ultrazord was better designed than that!)

This season was a poor excuse of an anniversary season.

Because I feel it's a better anniversary than Gokaiger and Boukenger.

The series is only halfway through, and it's been pretty good, especially compared to last year. And we're getting an anniversary special soon enough anyway, and I'd rather it construct its own plot than just try to use nostalgia to be power the series (See: Decade)

I don't need to see it to see how bad it looks. Plus, Operation Overdrive (Boukenger) and Super Megaforce (Gokaiger) were FAR superior, especially Super Megaforce, which is my second favorite season after MMPR.

How do you know they were superior if you haven't watched it?

Ever heard the phrase "never judge a book by it's cover"? Because this is exactly what it seems like your doing. I haven't watched much of Zyuohger, but what I have seen (which is generally the fight scene) is pretty decent. The promotional stuff tends to show things that they know will grab the intended audience's (which is young children) attention. And in this case it's all of those dramatic shock moments which seem to be a bit goofy when caught in a still frame.

Yeah, I'm done here. You don't have to like it, but I advise you shut the hell up about something you don't understand and return to bitching about Pokemon Z not happening.

Hard to take this guy seriously with that statement. What exactly makes you like Super Megaforce? I'd rather watch Turbo and OO than that one. Super Megaforce is an insult to the franchise itself

To be honest I'm still bummed Pokemon Z is not happening :P

I'm really hoping it's the next series adapted after Saban is finished with Ninja Steel. Looks like they could make a rather fun season or two of Power Rangers with it. I also think Bandai could justify modifying the existing molds to use zordbuilder connections, rather than making all new sculpts, but that's a topic for another day.

As for the sixth Ranger, I agree with what Matrixbeast said. He'll likely be a generic badass with a troubled past. That said, if they wanted to branch out and do something different with him, I think having him suffer from dissociative identity disorder would be interesting.

I have no doubt in my mind that this this will be the next series that will be adapted IF the Minecraft craze doesn't die down in 2 years. Otherwise I don't see it happening.

Seriously though, I don't know what you'd call this series. Ninja Steel makes sense, Dino Charge makes sense, Megaforce was idiotic. Zyouhger? The best name I have is Power Rangers Animal Kingdom. But that sounds like a nature doc.

Just call it Power Rangers Wild Force.
