Well, it's pretty obvious now that she's a former Green Ranger.

I quite like the idea that she is using the Power Coin as a source for her evil magic.

But then again, a magically corrupted Power Coin given to a human... Evil Green Ranger in the 2nd movie?! :O

I really hope the Green Ranger will only be a tease in the first movie. Let the core 5 have their fun first before introducing Tommy.

Just noticed that now did you? Also what says she's a former ranger. Maybe she just stole the coin from Zordon.

Some people says that Rita's suit looks like a "decomposed" version of the Power Ranger suits, so perhaps she was a former ranger and turned evil. The fact that her staff seems to have a power coin just supports that theory.

All in all, it's still a theory.

My theory is that She's bending the coin to her will instead of the power choosing her. Also seeing as the her staff houses the coin I hope the ranger's weapons form the same way.

Sounds like this staff was inspired of Loki staff with the infinity gem.

What's this "We" shit? People were speculating it was the green coin as soon as the props for the other 5 coins were revealed.

Yeah, I imagine she betrayed the Ranger team years ago and Zordon sealed her away. Now, she's out for revenge. Many of the scenes we see of her just chatting with the Rangers are probably where she is trying to convince them that, one false move, and Zordon will lock them up too..."so just hand over the power coin and spare yourself my fate".

I don't remember seeing any of that?

This image gives a fighting chance to the theory that she is related to the rangers in some way. Most theoriest like the fallen ranger story where she betrayed the last team and is now using the power for evil. I Like the idea that she broke one of the 3 rules. you know:

All that aside I'm glad the idea is here anyway I hope the evil green ranger doesn't show up until the next movie... if there one? Who am i kidding this movie will break the box office on nostalgia alone i expect to see him in a post credits

How good are you in photoshop? can you try to change the green to same shade shown on Rita's Helmet and change the gold to silver and the diamond to blue?
