Soul of Chogokin Daizyujin AKA Dino Megazord Revealed at PMC!
|
That's cool~
|
WANT!!!!
|
It will be mine. Oh yes. It will be mine.
|
Haha what's a legacy?!
|
That price is going to be a horrible pill to swallow. But I need it.
|
watch this come in at the same price some of these legacy pieces
This opens the door to soooo much Fuck legacy |
Well, GaoGaiGar retailed around $300, I bet this is similar. It will be very expensive.
|
Well shit. They really did have quite the reveal there.
|
Golion AND Daizyujin? Wish I could afford pricey stuff like that.
|
I guess this is what Bluefin was teasing earlier. Anyways, I would love to buy if I had the money.
|
All of a sudden, I'm so happy I've held off the Legacy zords so far. I mean, I'm not sure how much more we'll get after this (DragonzordDragonzordDragonzordDragonzordDragonzordDragonzordDragonzord) but even if it's just this, it will be an amazing collection centerpiece.

Maybe... |
I just can't believe I somehow predicted the future in the other thread this morning :lol

I love how everyone was super cynical in the other thread :lol
|
Mind blowing and unexpected reveal. I guess the movie has revived Bandai's interest in MMPR products.
|
So are these zords capable of combining into the Megazord? Or are they super articulated versions of the individual zords?

Nice, but yipes on what the price must be. It looks like a lot more materials are present in this than the GoLion and that sucker had an MSRP of ¥32,400. I'd probably expect ¥40,000 to ¥45,000 for this, easy. Of course that's before the discounts most places offer, but still. I'm not expecting to get this sucker cheap.
|
Yeah, on reflecting recent SOC prices if this goes for the price of SOC Golion or more I'm out straight away :lol
I love Daizyujin, but I don't £250 before shipping and customs fees love him. |
That sound you hear is the Legacy Megazord aftermarket value plummeting to Earth faster than Rita's staff.

Ironically, this'll likely be close to the price of the Legacy ThunderMegazord, despite being far and away a superior figure. |
I still don't see it as a replacement for the Legacy Megazord since it wouldn't combine with the Legazy DZ and Titanus. The individual dinos are amazing though, especially the Tyrannozaurus.

This. will. be. in. my . collcetion. i dont when but it will be there. ive been wanting SoC sentai mecha since i first heard of the line years ago
|
I can see why people would want to replace their legacy one. It'll be the same offering except with ACTUAL ARTICULATION. Chances are if this does well they might even do a SOC of at least the Dragonzord because...it's the dragonzord.
As for compatibility with Titanus, I've never owned one but don't zords just stand in a hole? |
This is a waste we have so many different Daizyujin figures WHY him again.
We should have gotten the 1995 power rangers movie figuarts insaid that would have been a better release. After this I have no more trust in Bluefin ever again they don't care about Sentai Figuarts anymore. And I know the line is dead but still with the new movie coming out it would have made more sense for something figuarts related. I don't see this selling very well not with that big price. This was a dumb toy to make to much money and it will not sell well that for sure. |

I hope they combine.

First of all, do you even know what Soul of Chogokin even is? It's die cast, heavily detailed and, most intriguingly of all, HIGHLY ARTICULATED WHILE STILL BEING FULLY TRANSFORMABLE. Do you realize how awesome that is for a SENTAI ROBO? A series of giant robots who only have shoulder articulation AT MOST? And for "not selling very well," Tali said it best: Quote:
This will sell, of course, not to everyone, but for the collectors and those with the idea of a "definitive" representation. For example, Figuarts V Legacy Figures. While both feature articulation and a closer scale to other figures, it's up to the collector to decide which item they would like to buy. In creating this SOC version, you introduce another option to the market. Anything else I forgot to mention? |

Well we already have SRC daizyujin and after a few years the diecast get lose and chrome will chip so that's why it a waste. And I know it mmpr is huge I just wish it was something else related to mmpr like the figuarts I mention before. Yeah we see if this sell well my bet is it will sell very little because of the price period. Quote:

I know this isnt for everyone but i myslef and many others have been wishing for this long before sentai figurearts was thing. You may not like, that dosnt automaticly make a bad move in of itself. Also everyone SHOULD play nice in this thread. We are all old enough here to act polite can we pleease keep that way.

http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub...e.php?id=29747 Secondly, Soul of Chogokin aren't designed like a $30 toy you get at Target that are for snot-nosed kids to play with as much as they are for adults who will stick it on a shelf and never touch it. These are NOT cheap kids toys. They are built to last as Dynamic Works of Japanese Super Robot Art. They are on par with professional sculptures that you'd see in a museum of modern art. |
I will sell my kidney for this.

No offense, I just like mine. They were a gift from my mother. |
Well this is certainly a nice surprise. Kinda makes me glad I never jumped onto the Legacy Megazord bandwagon. This will definitely come with a hefty price tag, so hopefully it'll be available for a good while after it's release.

SoC is on a completely higher level than any "Megazord" we've ever gotten. sir, here is a $100 bill. NO THANK YOU, I HAVE A HANDFUL OF $1's!!! why does Ferrari make sports cars, Honda already makes different civics? "we already have too many megazords" is just . . . man, this takes the cake. I thought we'd get some idiot asking if this transforms or not, but saying this is a a waste and won't sell is. . . a new level. Congrats. |
