S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla 2016 2nd and 3rd forms (Spoilers)
 

It seems like Steven's Toy blog has posted images of S.H MonsterArts of Godzilla's other forms in the movie. This image has spoilers. So view it as your own risk.

Godzilla has 4 forms in the movie, the first one being a giant tadpole( it only appears at the beginning and we only see the tail) the second form being this white eel like one, the third being the red dinosaur like one and the final one being the one you see in the trailers.

Second and third forms? SPOILERS!!!!

Those are even worse looking than the first one.

The first one is actually the final one in the movie.

I didn't need or want to know that. I've been avoiding everything on the new movie because I want to go into it as blind as a bat.

Guys, calm down.

It's not like anyone in this thread posted the entire script or outline of the plot, we've known for quite sometime now that Godzilla will have multiple forms in the movie.

This is no different than someone posting a magazine scan of a new Kamen Rider power up.

Then why click on a thread that clearly has spoilers in it in the first place?

This is what I was thinking...I mean, it'd be one thing if he just came to complain about the spoilers being in the title, because some people actively try to avoid those things (I'm doing that for Pokemon)...but he seems to have viewed the images as well? You don't really have much room to talk after that.

ANYWAYS, I like the way the figures look. However, they definitely look like figures. I can't really imagine what the in-movie suits look like based on the figures...

Godzilla having multiple forms is not a major spoiler. We've known about this for MONTHS. If you don't want to see or even know the vaguest details of said forms, one has to question why you're in a thread labelled as such.

I know that, I guess it's just habit. Would "designs" be a better word?

Btw, I tried so hard to not look at that spoiler, but when I posted this I accidentally saw it :\

Having actually seen the movie, I can say with utmost certainty that the red coloration on the third form is absolutely not "influenced by the “Poster Art Version” of the 2014 Godzilla Monsterarts figure."

That said, I cancelled my preorders of the Movie Monster Series vinyl figures and await further information on the release of these bad boys.
The photo has too much glare/blur to find any release date information, and the box in the bottom right corner is out of the frame as well.

Do these forms get much screen time? I'll want to buy the SHMA figures regardless; and it figures that I would find out about them the very day after I ordered the vinyls of them. Oh well.

The second form (the beige armless one) pushes itself through the streets (as it cannot yet stand upright and only has hind legs) and attempts to stand, toppling buildings in the process. It "evolves" into the third form (maroon colored one) after it is able to stand up, and the tiny arms pop out. This form basically stands there for a few minutes, then retreats into the ocean. It comes back later in the (final) form we've seen in all the trailers.

I'm pretty excited about these, as the Movie Monster Series vinyls didn't quite capture the poses/posture that these forms had in the movie (for the SHMA figs, the second form should be dragging t's body on the ground as shown in the bottom left photo, and the way the third form stands in the top right photos is spot-on).

well they're different.
I was sort of hoping that the alternate forms of Shin Gojira took place at some point later in the movie. That way He'd evolve into a more umm "familiar version" having longer arms and a shorter tail.

I still want to see this movie. its just that I'm still trying to cozy up to this design.

Those are maquettes, which look more or less like the final versions shown on film, though the film versions have far less...detail? than these. These seem slightly stylized in an extremely-detailed-and-almost-wet-looking kind of way.

that's exactly the reason I posted them. The screen shots I've seen aren't the best quality and with the theater police I wasn't about to take pics of my own. These at least show lots of detail and best of all are from the studio.
