Seems like a new Power Rangers game is currently in develoupment, though not much is known about it other than a rating that was confirmed for Europe regions.

Probably just another horrid movie tie in game.

How completely dismissive without any solid information.

Personally, I'm hoping it's a callback to the original SNES and Genesis fighting games. Or the really good original movie game. Here's hoping.

On the one hand, there are surprisingly fewer Power Rangers games than one might think, so I'm interested because of this.

On the other hand, fewer of those existing Power Rangers games have hit the spot for me, since it's a team based game rather than a solo Rider game, so making sure all 6 (at least) teammates are playable and possibly on screen together and work well in a game seems to have been difficult in the past. It's like making a TMNT game where you can only play single player and only one Turtle is on screen the entire time. Say what you will about Mutants in Manhattan, but at least it feels like a Turtles story with all four brothers on screen.

I wouldn't mind a fighting game with every Megazord ever, with a meter-type thing that you have to fill up to activate certain combinations IE: Start out as Red Dragonzord (Is that the name of Ryuuseioh is the U.S.?), then activate the Thunder Megazord combination and stay that way for the rest of the match. Of course, that wouldn't work with everyone, but most Megazords have some combination that they could do, and those who don't could always just be more powerful from the start but not as powerful as one with a combination.

I hope for a decent game. The last good PR game we had was the movie game from 1995 in my opinion.

And I hope this is a lot like that one. You fight through the level as your Ranger, then a boss fight as the Megazord? Yes and Yes.

I think it could work but only with combined mecha. You could have the individual Zords show up in bonus levels maybe?

I hope this game to Power Rangers games will be like what Transformers: War for Cybertron was to Transformers games. A game that both fans and non fans can enjoy.

I liked the GBA Wildforce game.

I hope for online play too. We can all play with each other. I also hope we can get the game on the PC. Imagine the cool mods that people can make.

Well there is a new movie coming out and licensed games based on movies/TV shows are dog crap, so there is a great chance I'm right.

Now if it were to be a remastered collection of the old games, that would be awesome, especially the fighting game for the SNES. However, that would require Bandai to actually put an effort into their video game products.

What if this is a remaster of the SNES game, similar to something like the Dracula X Chronicles or Turtles in Time Reshelled?

I thpught Super legends was pretty fun. Did everyone for get about it? As for this game I would love a new megazord fighting game or a classic style beat'em up. Untill we see more im not going to get my hopes up for anything

I won't mind a new PR fighting game. I always thought a video game similar to the PS2/Gamecube Godzilla games would work for the Zords and the Kajiu (when the normal monsters grow big). Imagine playing the MMPR Dino Megazord against giant Goldar in a giant open city.

A port if the old shit would be great and take effort, but a new game could only be the worst trash ever? Oh yeah that makes sense. and I guess you also think Zelda 1 is and always will be better than new games like Breath of the Wild?

Pleeeeaaase let this be a Dynasty Warriors style game. I always felt Power Rangers/Super Sentai would be one of the best properties to have a Warriors-style game.

Huh? That doesn't make sense. There hasn't been a good Power Rangers game in 20 years. There have only been a handful of bad Zelda games.

I'd love to see a Power Rangers game done in the style of the last Transformers video game. Especially if it's going to be Mighty Morphin.

I know right? That style of gameplay would be absolutely PERFECT for Power Rangers.

Besides, we haven't really had a game where all six Rangers are on screen at once.

To be fair, Power Rangers video games don't exactly have a great track record. On the other hand, Zelda games do. With a new movie coming out, it wouldn't be surprising that the game is tied to that somehow. And the vast majority of movie tie-in games are rushed in order to meet a release date and end up not being good.

I'm personally hoping it's a new game that's not a movie tie-in. It's hard to do PR though, since the whole basis of the series is 5 members cooperating. I suppose you could do something like the Lego games, where you have all of the characters on screen and can switch between them at will.
