Zyuohger Episode 30- "The Legendary Behemoth!" Discussion
With the power of ZyuohWhale unlocked, the team must now search for the mighty CubeWhale to complete their arsenal. Can they find it before the Dethgaliens?
As always you can view this episode via live stream on Saturday by heading over to Taima TV. They play other miscellaneous programs up until the live broadcast starts. Live Streams of the Superhero Time block start at 6:30 PM Eastern Standard Time on Saturdays. |
Well shit, things got out of hand pretty fast in this episode. I love it~
Like, wow, I thought I knew where this episode was going, and then shit just went south :lol Shame the next time preview spoils it all, but still, I'm pumped to watch it~ So it seems the villains are starting to do things again, especially Kubar, so I'm happy to see. I'm not surprised by the revelation since it was obvious, I'm just glad they're finally following up on it. I don't quite know the extent of what Genis knows, though. Also, Naria's little peashooter against Cube Whale. Hilarious~ Things are picking up. The only thing I'm concerned with is whether or not Kubar will make his next move soon, or wait another 10 episodes... |
Episode 30 was pretty good. Still don't like Whale design, but i would lie if i said i didn't found it cool. A bit dissapointed since we didn't learn anything new or had some devellopment for Sela. Her first few episodes were pretty good, now she barely does anything... It's weird since she's popular in Japan so you'd thought the writters would do more with her... It seems like she play a role in next week episode but it look like it will be mainly about Yamato and Misao...

I definately like how they're dragging it out. Rather then just "Look! New giant mecha! YAY"

This episode was so cracking good!
Miso was the most hilarious Zyuoger as always although was nice to see Sela rescuing him in the end. It's nice to see that villains besides Bunglay have other motives besides the Blood Game. G.I.F.T. vs Dodekai-Oh, so much the hype! Can't wait! And the way they make this episode a two-parter emphasizes, in my opinion, how powerful both of them are. What's Kaixabird doing, I wonder? |

I'm really liking the build up to Dodekaioh. Just so much hype flying around, as well as curiosity as to why Cube Whale is so angry at everyone. It's also quite amazing how powerful everything associated with the Whale changer is, though I guess that's because it's a direct manifestation of the Earth's power.
Although, when Naria shot at Cube Whale, it seemed like she wasn't trying to hurt it. More like she put some kind of tracker on it in case it disappeared. Also, seeing Yamato using that staff in the preview, I couldn't help but see it as a weaponized pool noodle. |

Being a huge stickler for staffs, spears, and similar rod weapons, I am quite excited for the water spout pool noodle.

This show is definitely an improvement over last year. The villains are deveoping their own plots (except for Azald). The mystery of Cube Whale is being well spread out, instead of just showing up at the end of the Gokai episode. Misao is entertaining, the main characters are likeable, it's great.

Fantastic!
I'm glad them getting Cube Whale isn't as easy as they thought. I wonder what will happen to Cubal. It seemed Genis was watching so did he see the fight between Cubal and Bungrey? Was the 3-4-5-6 mecha combination new? I can't recall if that was done before. |
