Legacy Ninja Megazord Review by MMPR Toys
|
not really a review per se.

Bruno did a bang-up job on this. Love the little shots in the city, etc. I'd call it a review - he shows off what it does, what little flaws it has, and what he loves about it.

Wow. Never saw his videos before. He does great work!
As for the Megazord; again, wow. I don't like the Legacy line. At all. And this looks great. I really dig how each individual Zord feels like an actual toy that you can play with instead of a dumb die-cast brick that has only one clear, specific purpose. I'm not the biggest fan of Megazords but this was definitely well made. Glad that fans of these things have something to look forward to. |
Oh my god, he has ankle rockers, posseable legs, and stuff.
|
*Sigh*
Anyone got a spare $150 sitting around? Kakure Daishogun is my favorite mecha, and this figure actually looks good |
It's kinda unnerving the way he has the falconzord aggressively swoop in and attach. I would never treat anything over $15 that way. Lol.

I'm pretty sure that was just for the review. I doubt he actually does that to his figures. |

I wasn't expecting much out of this guy, but his extra poseability is a nice bonus.
If feels like some of the articulation is a by-product of the overall design that they decided to run with to add value. Like the legs going out were necessary to make an accurate frog zord, so they tossed in ankle tilts to take advantage of it. The elbow on the ape zord was a coincidence because of how his legs split. See how they made no effort to also add an elbow to the wolf zord. It just happened to already be there for the ape, so they advertise it as if it was intended articulation. That said, the crazy poseable arms on the ape look completely intentional. |
I didn't see Bandai advertising any of the articulation.

Video was honestly kinda cringeworthy, just not my kinda reviewer I suppose.
Figure looks fantastic though. |
